Please use another photo for the after comparison, preferably not from a photoshoot at all, but especially not from that particular shoot. Those photos are known to be heavily edited/photoshoppped, to the point where an ENHYPEN member (Jungwon) even commented on it. (To be clear, i'm indifferent on whether he's done anything or not since i've never really looked into it (though i tend to think he might've). I just hate when people use that photoshoot as comparison since we know it's not a very reliable one)

I think people would need to be willfully ignorant to deny how much he pings. Every pre-debut story i hear about him reads like he's trying to check off a 'gay stereotypes' list

I'm not a delusional stan, i genuinly didn't think Jake had done anything on his nose. It was just my opinion, but of course since it didn't agree with the rest of the thread i got clowned to hell and back lol. I know a lot of enha members have had work done (sunghoon + heeseung are my biases for gods sake, they've got two of the easiest to spot through before/after comparison nose jobs i've seen in a long time), i just didn't think so in Jake's case based on the pictures and comparisons i had previously seen. After the photos @loveablejoy provided i'm more inclined to think he did get his nose done, it was just that the first person didn't make a good case for it. I don't care if they got ps or not, i've gotten ps myself in the past. Not everyone that disagrees are a delusional stan ffs. Anyways, i'll go back to lurking on this thread instead of engaging so it doesn't matter.

I remember people discussing Jake a bit awhile back. I don't think he's done anything to his nose, i moreso question his eyes though he did appear to use tape during I-LAND, and i don't think he's gotten anything done since I-LAND itself ended so my bet is he's still rocking the tape. Here's some pre-debut pics Jake got to korea in june 2019, if he did do something then i think he would've done it between then and a bit before I-LAND started in june 2020. Like i said though, i personally don't think he's done anything to his nose. Man, i just have to say, ENHYPEN is such a pretty group regardless of any plastic surgery the members have gotten. I actually think all of the work (mainly nose jobs lol) other members have done have turned out well. They all look good and reasonably natural (for people not familiar with ps at least). Man, i adored Hu Yetao throughout Chuang 2021 and was so sad when his rank started dropping :(( That final performance of his made me so happy as well! I think it's just that people dislike Jackson and he's in a bit of a controversy regarding supporting the ccp and being a shill at the moment I usually find that posts get downvoted/clowned when the idol that the post is about has been in a controversy. It's silly but it is what it is.

The #nap is taking me out J-Hope definitely knows about the history of waacking. I remember him writing about it in the early years and then there's that video of him talking about how impressive he finds the style after they reviewed some dance performances, i think? Not to mention the way he seems to have a lot of knowledge of street styles in general, it would be really weird and out of character for him to not know the history of waacking when it's a style he's used to express himself a bunch of times. OT, but here's one of my favorite waacking moments from him (even though it's only brief and used as a tool to rile someone up lol)! It's in the dance battle from AHL. It's so clear that J-Hope really understands the nature of battling in dance and has experience with it. The way he responds to his opponent by showing off the fact that he can also do the other dancer's style is the exact type of teasing and antagonizing i would expect to see in a real battle lol The battle starts at 2:22 and J-Hope's response is at 2:51! It's really cool to see him incorporate a traditionally queer and femme dance style (for those that don't know, waacking originated from LA in the 1970s, from the black/brown queer community, through the original punks and the soul train dancers. It also had a resurgence in the early 2000s) into the other street styles such as boogaloo, popping, locking and animation etc that he is more well known for. Especially since it's still rather rare to see straight men doing this style (along with styles like voguing), even in the dance community. I agree that it doesn't mean he's gay or queer himself necessarily, but i wouldn't doubt that it means that he has an appreciation for the community and what it has given dance. Especially since while waacking (and voguing) are popular styles, they're not go to styles to learn for most street based dancers and not all studio's even offer classes in them (at least not where i live in europe). It's another reason i find Jo Kwon's incorporation of voguing in the 'Animal' performance to be so significant. That whole performance is so queer in so many ways, it was really refreshing to see at the time as someone that gets the references. Like, when you know the history of voguing, you can see how the aesthetic, the heels, all of it is in line with the dance style. It's definitely not some random application of a dance style to music, instead it's very deliberate. Ah! I wish Jo Kwon would do something like that again v-v

I'm pretty sure she was staff. I saw the unedited and non cropped photos a couple of years ago (i think in 2016?) and they made it seem pretty clear that she was staff from what i remember. Anyways, this is OT and it doesn't really matter lol

Ah, it was the photo you had that i was thinking of, but i mixed up the story with another false one (the stupid minji rumor). Sorry about that lol. Still, my point stands, people tried to twist that photo into something it wasn't when it's just a photo of him out and about with a staff during filming of american hustle life (it was during AHL, right? now i'm paranoid that i remember it weirdly, but i could swear i saw the unedited photos from that a couple of years ago T - T ). The adora rumors are ridiculous. He can't even go and have a meal with someone without people being annoying shits and starting stuff. It's so annoying that people can't leave her (or JK) alone. The only positive thing about the adora stuff is that people are finally dropping the Mijoo shit and will hopefully stop trying to connect every tiny thing that either JK or she does to the other (that behaviour was getting really toxic). Though i suppose now that BigHit has hired that other female producer there will surely be rumors with her too soon. I'm already calling it. I'm not sure what you're trying to imply here? The boys have always had good relationships with their staffs, it's nice to see them joke around with them i guess? Edit: I'm not talking about fans that are overprotective, but the ones that alter pictures to spread narratives that aren't true (as is the case with the screenshot i originally made my comment about. Like i said in that reply, JK would be 16-17 in those gifs/videos so i'll highkey side eye anyone that implies he was in a relationship with an older staff member at the time. That is so wildly inappropriate that i don't even know where to begin. I never said he was afraid of women or not comfortable around them lol, as that's not even remotely true, i just pointed out that those screenshots that the commenter mentioned were purposely cropped etc to make it seem like something it wasn't. I find a lot of BTS 'dating' rumors to be a case of this (like that old photo a lot of fans say are of JK and his girlfriend on the streets of japan when it's in fact a staff member and in between a break from a fansigning i think), and it makes me uncomfortable when people are spreading misinformation and creating false narratives so i tend to correct it when i see it. I'm not aware of any incident surrounding that BWL photo but i don't even see anything in the pic that's weird when i open it lol. So all i can say about that is that i do hate when people leak this type of stuff, and i wish they would stop.

This was proven to be 'fabricated' as the video/screenshots were taken from a weird angle and cropped in a way that made it look suspicious. If i remember correctly, when you watch the actual bangtan bomb you can see that she isn't sitting on his lap. Or at least i hope that was the case, it would be incredibly inappropriate for an older female staff (she was at least in her 20's) to sit on what, 16-17 year old??, Jungkook's lap. That would be a big yikes on my part. Edit: I found the bangtan bomb where the screenshots are from, and as you can see she's not sitting on his lap.

I'm from Sweden, and even here celebrities find it difficult to come out. Not because they necessarily face repercussions from the public or career wise (that we know of, anything goes behind the scenes as i'm not an industry insider), but because it's just a personally hard thing to do. For example a very well known and beloved artist here, Darin, came out as gay this past summer. He's some 15 or so years into his career here, and he's wildly beloved, but it still took that time for him to come out to the general public (even though it was apparently a very well known industry 'secret'). That's why i really have no judgement when it comes to korean celebrities (or just celebrities from conservative places period) denying rumors. Nor do i expect to see any idols come out until very late into their careers, if ever, due to it. If celebrities find it hard to come out here (especially already established ones that "started out" straight), then it must be incredibly hard in other, less progressive places. Personally, i also think Jin is straight, but i wanted to point out that the need to constantly reaffirm your straightness can also be a very LGBTQ+ person thing to do when you're in the closet. Especially when no one is directly asking. You just assume that they must be thinking what you're thinking (i.e. that you're LGBTQ+) so you overstate the contrary to reassure them and yourself that it's not the case (even if it is). I myself did it plenty when i was in the closet as i felt paranoid to be "found out" for the tiniest things lest i compensate and state i'm definitely straight every five seconds. Looking back, it might've come off as a bit silly, but it's what made me feel safe and in control. To answer your question though, many did find his relationship with Kidoh to be very suspicious and they had a lot of rumors together, so i don't find it hard to believe that he immediatly would make that connection to the question that was asked. I'm pretty sure that was just made up by an anti to slander them both for going out during strict covid-19 restrictions (the correlation to specifying that it was a gay bar in the rumor should be obvious after what happened last may). As far as i remember it started from a tweet and then DC gall or pann (can't remember) hopped on it. Edit: It seems the original tweet didn't mention a gay club, that must be dc gall/pann's addition then.

I didn't see it as him getting uncomfortable, he was just surprised because it was kind of random lol. This is basically what i think. I do think Heeseung is probably straight too, though that might just be me being heteronormative (rip) because i really don't get much of anything from him. Sunghoon definitely has talked about girls before (that skating interview he did some years back etc), but he still gives me pause sometimes. There just is something about him that kind of pings? I've been thinking he might be bi-curious or bisexual too. Niki does ping me, not gonna lie, but he's also super young so i don't really put much stock into it. I don't really know about Jungwon. Again, he's young so it's hard to tell. Sunoo is super sus. He's the reason i asked and i'm glad basically everyone agrees lol. I don't think he's got a crush on Sunghoon, but that doesn't stop him from being suspicious as hell in basically everything he does. I read his whole weverse interview with a raised eyebrow, there was just a lot in it combined with other things he's shared. Though i'm also kind of scared i'm stereotyping him... But again, since others seem to agree i guess i'm not just seeing things lol. That's an interesting point about Sunoo and his clear affinity for Taehyung (as another user pointed out, many yougner idols that people find sus tend to have Tae as their role model or fave BTS member which is silly but interesting at the same time). There were some rumors on weibo about Jungkook with men last year (or was it 2019, literally what the hell is time??? it might've been from 2019). I took them with a large sprinkle of salt, as i do with all rumors but especially weibo rumors (there's like 3% info that's somewhat accurate in some ways but compeltely exaggerated or twisted in others, and 1% that's completely accurate, then the remaining 96% is complete bullshit lol), but they were there.

It wasn't bighit that said it, it was first an independant reporter and then later the shop owner. I agree about that japanese 'girlfriend' of Yoongi's though. Please do an analysis of ENHYPEN if you want v-v You can skip members like Ni-Ki and Jungwon that are very young if you feel uncomfortable. I have my own thoughts as well, but i'd like to hear what others think too.

I've felt the same way that you have (bolded part) about vmin's friendship many times before. Whenever they talk about their friendship it just always seems implied. Now of course the shared experience could be something else, but it's soemthing i've always kept in the back of my head in regards to them.

I doubt he's gay though, but bi or just curious might be a possibility. Still, he's confusing. I agree that Beomgyu is straight, and i generally tend to think Hyuka is straight too. Taehyun is pretty closed off as a person, and he's hard to read, but he tends to ping me so i wouldn't rule him as straight. I also agree about Soobin enjoying male attention during interviews, the way he acts and plays around is very different from interviews with female celebs.
