  1. I truly never thought i would see figure skaters being mentioned here, this is wild I agree with the eyes btw, can't see a difference in the nose Anyways, she's my underscored queen, i hope she has a better season next year and that the KSU will gain some braincells and stop overworking their athletes
  2. Saying figure skating is a "homosexual dominated sport" is such a slap in the face to all the LGBTQ+ figure skaters, openly or not, that are constantly put down and dragged through the mud in the sport. Say what you want about Johnny Weir's personality, but his treatment as a queer skater was only 15 years ago, while he wasn't even out, and not much has changed in the wider elite skating community among officials. Every month there's homophobic or transphobic remarks by russian officials or people in high positions from other nations, and to ignore that and nonsensically try to claim the sport is dominated by LGBTQ+ athlees is to be willfully blind and ignorant. It's great that more western LGBTQ+ athletes are coming out, but there's still a shit ton of work to do in the sport and it's not a naturally LGBTQ+ friendly space, especially not on the elite level. This just reeks of "woe is me, the straight victim". He is in no way at a disadvantage in the sport as a straight male skater, and i'm not sure why he's trying to imply that he is? If you're insecure in your own masculinity then just say that, no need to go and make things up. And what's with the use of "females" (side ntote, beyond the shitty takes he's also an NFT bro, like damn pick a struggle) Edit: Here's a good thread if anyone is curious about the topic and figure skating
  3. I agree so much with this whole section. Everytime someone here calls Yeonjun botched i'm just like "welp guess i find that hot then". That traditional, refined, "perfect" look is boring to me too, and it just leaves me feeling unsatisfied and cold. I don't know, i just have zero reaction to them.
  4. Yuzuru has no past public relationships, he doesn't even have as much as any credible rumors of a relationship. He is heavily stalked by media in periods as well so it really is pretty impressive, especially in the past two years that he has spent almost entirely in Japan (compared to about half of the year since 2012 before that). For nothing to come out about his romantic life (or lack thereof lol) is wild. He did say when he was 19/20 that he wished to get married (by age 25/26, he's now 27 and still unmarried lol), and he has named female celebrities as his ideal type before (around the same time), but really there is not much else and since a lot of other queer people have done the same in their lifetimes that really isn't much to go on (especially not the married bit as Japan is a pretty traditional society and Yuzu comes across as a traditional person). He does have a lot of gay rumors/wishes both internationally and in japan (there are boards on japanese forums dedicated to lusting for him (and his rather juicy ass ) as well as speculating on his sexuality, mostly populated by gay men lol (international ones too, he used to have really popular threads on data lounge before they migrated to their own forum)). It's rather interesting and discussions among Yuzu fans about his sexuality can get very heated as people are either in the straight or gay camp with barely any inbetween. There are also a lot of limp wrist jokes as his mannerisms come across as rather flamboyant sometimes. Though it should be noted that his personality and the way he speaks is very masculine (according to native japanese speakers i've asked). Yuzu is a very private person, and he lives in a very traditional society, so honestly we are unlikely to ever know the truth about this. I also see him as the type of person that even if he is gay/queer he is unlikely to come out and will likely marry and have kids despite it. It comforts me to know that he likely isn't homophobic though, as his longtime coach is openly gay (and married), and he's also friendly with a lot of queer skaters (it's difficult to say who his true figure skating friends are due to how private he is) + one of his skating role models as a child is a gay man too (one that was heavily mocked for it during his career, no less).
  5. Just wanted to say that i agree with you. I never saw their noses as looking that similar and i don't get why people here do
  6. Please don't start with this "sunoo is mistreated" bullshit. As an engene i'm so tired of Sunoo stans invading every space preaching this narrative when it's not true. He's not being mistreated. Sunoo and Ni-ki get a pretty equal amount of lines (Ni-ki gets the least), and it's not drastically less than the person that is in 3rd (across their discography it's Sunghoon). It's only a precent or so in difference. Sunoo is ENHYPEN's weakest dancer, there is no reason for him to be given a dance break. Do you know who else rarely (if ever?) features solo in their dance breaks? Jake. What does Sunoo and Jake have in common? They have the shortest trainee time and are both the weakest dancers in the team. Many members don't have any significant solo activities. Sunghoon is an MC and Ni-ki has his radio show, but what else is there? Jay, Heeseung, Sunghoon and Jake have gone on variety together before, but that was in groups so it's not solo activities. I'm really trying to think about what kind of solo activities you're talking about but i'm coming up blank? What other opportunities is he missing out on? Not to mention that not recieving solo opportunities isn't even mistreatment to begin with! People use that word too lightly. Edit: Whether Belift is being homophobic towards Sunoo is a different question and something i don't really have an opinion on tbh (since i personally haven't payed attention to it), but stop with this mistreatment bullshit already.
  7. Lately i've found that people on this thread clown almost everyone's work, it doesn't matter who it is but if they've had work done then they call it bad by default. It's weird.
  8. As someone that is currently suffering with an ED this is an excellent post! I'm seconding checking out Of herbs and altars if anyone is curious about the topic and want to be more educated on it. I really appreciate her espcially because she doesn't glamourize EDs at all, and it's really important to be real about the damage that EDs can do.
  9. Ah, well, maybe i'm misunderstanding These things are too complicated for me lol, i'll just wait and see whatever unfolds i guess :'>
  10. They're not mixing them together though, they're saying that Yein's photo is from manhattan beach and Jimin's is from santa monica (the one he took the first time), the OP knows that it's not on the same day as they clearly separated them in their tweets
  11. I said i'm not certain, but i really should've said that i wouldn't say he's gay, just bisexual or bicurious. I don't get the vibes that he would identify with the community in any significant way either, he's one of these idols that i think will try to exist in a very traditional way. Honestly, there is no direct "evidence" for why i think this about Sunghoon. He's my bias so i watch a lot of his content, but he doesn't really engage in fanservice and he isn't someone that you can look at (like sunoo) and just immediatly think he's not straight. It's just in the way he carries himself, and maybe even because of how reserved he is. I can't put my finger on it, but he just really gives me bi vibes. I also think Sunghoon reminds me of Soobin a lot (who i think is gay), and i admit that i do let this influence my opinion. I'm not delusional though, there's a big possibility that i'm all wrong on this and that he's simply straight. He has discussed wanting a girlfriend in the past (pre-idol life) after all (though wanting that doesn't make anyone less or more bisexual so it doesn't really matter either). It just would not surprise me if it turned out that he wasn't. And i said this in my last post about this and since it's relevant here as well i'll just re-post it lol: Side note: It's not because of the figure skating, trust me. Despite general populations opinion most male figure skaters are straight, just like in the general population, and elite figure skating to this day remains a fairly homophobic sport (which is ironic as fuck). Just last week there was a russian judge that said some awful things about homosexuality in the sport, and this summer when a lot of LGBTQ+ skaters came out there were some horrible comments from the skating community that followed. Not to mention one of the sports AMERICAN top stars spewing homophobic bullshit back in august as well. It's a mess. Figure skating does not guarantee any sort of tolerance for lgbtq+ people, and as someone that enjoys the sport and is very involved in the skating community, i'm not under any illusion that that's the case.
  12. We discussed them a few weeks back! Besides Sunoo i personally see Heeseung as potentially being queer, most likely bisexual, and i see Sunghoon as maybe not being completely straight either (though i feel much less certain about Sunghoon than Heeseung). The rest seem straight to me.
  13. ENHYPEN are one of three groups i stan v-v It's fun to see a bit more discussion about them I think it's universally agreed that Sunoo is not straight, from the way he acts (the vibes lol) to all his pre-debut stories and hobbies. It might be based on stereotypes but i would be really surprised if there weren't any truth to it in his case. Personally i am also of the opinion that Heeseung is not straight. I don't think he's gay, but he does give strong bisexual vibes. It's not necessarily anything he has done or said, but it's just a feeling. I do think Sunghoon could be bi as well. He doesn't give as strong vibes as Heeseung does, but it's still there. I might also think this because Sunghoon reminds me of Soobin a lot (who i think is gay). He has discussed wanting a girlfriend in the past (pre-idol life), but wanting that doesn't make anyone less or more bisexual so make of it what you will. (ignore the spoiler i can't make it go away) Side note: It's not because of the figure skating, trust me. I think the rest (Jay, Jungwon, Ni-ki, Jake) are straight. Like someone else mentioned, the ships in enha are pretty fanservic-y and based more on close friendships than anything else. I do love me some Jaywon moments though ngl, they're cute, but they're definitely not together lol And i can't recall any of the members having moments that made me question whether they're homophobic or not (and i've watched almost all of enha's content) The "sunoo is becoming more manly" shit is driving me up the fucking wall these days. All he has to do is sit in a manspreading position and a certain part of the fandom goes " manly sunoo" it's sick It does come off as very homophobic. I hope Sunoo remains the way he has always been, those fans can go fuck themsleves. On another note, i have to say that i always took the 'Sunoo was popular with girls' thing as a Sunoo and the girls trope. Especially after that story about him giving one of his girl classmates pads when she was on her period (or took her to the nurses office to get pads, i can't remember the details). Maybe this is toxic of me, but that doesn't sound like something a straight 14 year old would do for one of their classmates that they weren't besties with.
  14. I don't know about the rest (but just to day that he could be bisexual, if he did indeed date Nancy) but the latest Changmin rumor was made up by some deranged 40 year old fan if i understood everything correctly, and wasn't true.
  15. Yup, i like them both, just for different reasons. He does have a very classic idol look, but to me he's one of the top visuals of 4th gen, and the nose plays into that. Like i mentioned, it makes him look unreal and doll like in a good way. It's just a taste thing as that's what i like in visuals (just as you favor unique features).
  16. Both of these noses suit his face so much in my opinion. I do think that the ski slope nose has really heigthened his visuals though. He really looks like a kpop idol now, just out of this world pretty, whereas before he looked a bit more grounded and real (had more of a model vibe). The surgeon did a really good job, because it still looks very natural (except for the very unreal shape lol) if you haven't seen his pre-debut photos. It's not pinched at all and the nostrils have a nice shape and placement, there are none of the regular issues you can sometimes see with nose jobs. I suppose that 'unreal beauty' look was the effect they were going for with him as his face was already so well balanced pre-nose job.
  17. I think only like 10-15 seconds leaked though, you must've listened to a looped version
  18. Yuzuru Hanyu, the GOAT of men's figure skating (and the literal light of my life lol)! (sorry for the OT and the fact that i couldn't pick just one or two videos T - T )
  19. To be fair, there was not much to do with Jake's nose unless he wanted an entirely different shape. It was already very tall and masculine and matched his face perfectly. It almost looked like he had already gotten a nose job pre surgery because it was just such a good nose. The others clearly wanted to go for a completely different look, maybe he didn't want to change things too much. I agree that he could've gotten it done by himself, but there's also still a chance that it's company work since he did get it done after he got to korea. I've observed that most enhypen members seemed to get their noses done in late 2019 or spring 2020 (most seemed to get it done due to being on the show, like Sunghoon + Sunoo, except maybe Heeseung and Jay), and Jake did seem like he got it done before that (fall 2019 at the latest). I still think Jake, Sunghoon (i adore his new nose so much, super pretty), and Jay got the best nose work in enhypen.
  20. It's from June 27th (at least posted then), and idk what was going on in it but he does look a bit weird and not like himself Here's his most recent tiktok and he looks more like himself in it Here's two from 12th and 13th of august, and he again looks like his "normal" (post second nose implant) self
  21. These Soobin psychoanalyzing posts are getting weird af, geez I for one never got Chanyeol or Lucas (both idols i've disliked since i got into kpop in 2016, but that doesn't mean i went around and talked about how much of fuck bois and rude people i thought they were since there was no tangible evidence towards this and it was basically just slander at the time, no matter how much i believed it) vibes from him and i do find it rather disrespectful to try to paint him as someone like them when he has done nothing to indicate it. I agree with @Dont mind me that this is really veering into anti posts rather than posts discussing his sexuality.
