  1. Can't wait to stream The Show live la.gif rlytearpls.png

The chinese fandom really pulled through this comeback with the albums sales and improved melon ranks. A lot of i-fans don't realise the extent of their hard work.

I don't know if anyone has explained it but wjsn related songs making into melon searches so many times were because of c-ujung melon streaming group. Every hour they have a standard playlist which everyone use to stream and they included all the OSTs, etc. Even k-ujungs didn't know what was happening (they worked hard streaming too but apparently they didn't had an organised group like the chinese) and were surprised to find out there's a chinese streaming group.

A number of them are first-time kpop fans or first-time doing all these fandom stuff. It's even more difficult for them because of the wall and they need VPN to stream both youtube and melon and navigate in foreign languages. They set alarms every hour starting from wee hours of the morning (5am EST) so that they could wake up and stream and try to get SMSY to chart. Sacrificed sleep to stream continuously for days and one girl even passed out and got sent to the hospital (pretty sure many of their health suffered too).

  2.

miyu wrote a letter to myao.rlytearpls.png

    translation cr: Mercurin on discord

To Miyazaki Miho, who I love and respect

Miho-san. Happy birthday! Now... do you recognise who it is? You definitely won't seem to know who it is.
I tried to call you by "Miho-san" in this letter unnecessarily. Heeey! Heeeey!
You're probably in a state where you don't recognise who it is so it feels like no matter what I say, it would be acceptable.

Hearing about being able to write a happy birthday letter to Miho-san was a big news in my home yesterday.
To my point of view when I was a kenkyuusei (AKB48's research student)... I'm sorry. But Myao-san, you were really scary.
Several years passed. We went to have dinner together but because I was really scared, I couldn't close the distance between us.
However,  finally during these past several months,
I came to know about a lot of Myao-san's charming qualities and was able to open-heartedly speak to you without reserve.

During Produce 48, I would always look at Myao-san who was being a translator for both the Korean and Japanese trainees.
You would take the role of group leader and take into consideration the feelings of the other girls who are younger than you.
I would always look at that sight of Myao-san when I was walking past the stairs or classroom.
Even though we came into a world of competition, you didn't try to forcefully appear on screen and didn't try to forcefully grab other people's attention,
but firstly, you thought about others and placed everybody else before you. I think the Myao-san who is like that is very amazing.
Ever since then, you've become my very best role model.
I was able to be in the same team as Myao-san in the next evaluation...
we turned out to be in the same team, but at that time I was still very scared of you due to my impression of Myao-san from 7 years ago.

But, as we spent more time together. I learned that sometimes you read books by yourself, I learned about the things you studied and did when you were little,
and I also learned that you were actually very girly and came to realise your unexpected qualities and many other things.
After that, my bad impression of you got completely destroyed.
And most importantly, Myao-san was an affectionate senpai who stayed close to me and understood the pain in my heart.
When we were in Korea, everyone had times when they felt very sad and painful.
And so did I. At that time, it was thanks to Myao-san's words that my closed heart was able to open up.
It was thanks to you that I was able to release my emotions and cry. I was saved many times by the tears we shed together back then.

Myao-san's Korean ability which was the "bridge" between Japan and Korea,
was the most important thing for Produce 48 and I still think that it is something to tell to many people.
There were many things in my experience in Korea that couldn't be done without Myao-san's help.
It was because of Myao-san's efforts and affection that really helped both the Japanese and Korean trainees.
That's why, I really think that your help was an important point in Produce 48.

Although I want to oppose the people who are saying irresponsible words about Myao-san despite not knowing about the things Myao-san has done and that they are things not anyone can just do....
I'll just leave it at that because it really might take long and I'm already on the edge of getting severely criticised online...

Anyhow, I just want everyone in the world to know that Myao-san was talking in Korean and Japanese more than anyone,
and was helping us communicate by translating for us.
She is a very important person that helped everyone connect with one another.

    bunlyang juseyo(?)

I felt that I really relied on Myao-san after the last stage was over. You and I were both feeling down.
Although I knew that was the last stage, I acted tough and didn't show my emotions.
When I saw Myao-san's face after the program had finished,
I hugged you while crying and thought, "Ah.... you really understand me. You're really feeling a lot of pain right now, right? I wonder if I had done anything for you?"
To me, you had become someone who I shared the most pain with together. I was really happy to be able to fight along side you, together.
To me now, Myao-san had become the first and last senpai in my AKB life who I was able to convey my true feelings with.
Even though I'll graduate this year, I would like to stay in touch and become even closer in our private time.
Also, I'll be happy if we're able to work together again someplace, somewhen in the future.

Please take a good rest today.

    Happy Birthday.

I'm sorry for it being such a long letter.

     AKB48 Takeuchi Miyu

I love how Miyu is always straightforward yet sincere when conveying her thoughts and feelings. No personality where? hoplz.png

  3. Part of the albums are purchased with the donations c-ujungs have been collecting for some time. Fans have been pooling money bit by bit with knowledge that they won't get anything in return. The other part is the pre-orders.

Just days ago I still saw comments about how chinity's hard work in China will not benefit WJSN. But this is a result of their impact rlytearpls.png  (ofc this is also the result of WJSN being too stannable)

  4. I trust Miyu to do well in whatever path she takes and we will still be there to support her.

Also, there's something I want to let loose

Seriously pissed again at those who had called her greedy and selfish. Especially those who dare call themselves her (former) fan. I refrained from saying this then because it serves no purpose but every time I think about it, it just annoys me so much. When I saw how some Miyu fans who had been vocal about their support for her in the MT and elsewhere drop her like a hot potato immediately after her decision to take main vocal was extremely disappointing.

Clearly, even after months of following the show, these people did not truly understand Miyu and her personality. If they had read and watched whatever little content she has, they wouldn't be even insinuating she is selfish. She is determined and thoughtful and is not one who makes rash decisions. No team spirit? Then why would she stay in AKB for so freaking long. How many times have she said she loves AKB and wants to show her gratitude and repay this group for everything she has gained and learnt from being in the group.

And I had really appreciated it when these same fans had showed how much they liked her with all the sharing they did. Hence it was so bitter to see the change in a blink of the eye. Don't say Miyu has disappointed and let down YOUR expectations when YOU are the one who misunderstood who she is and wanted her to fit YOUR narrative of how she is supposed to be.

Now I feel better having ranted it out. ohpressor.png

  5. I was thinking that too! Like in their secret film for dyd where it looked like Cheng xiao was left behind in a dream world. It would give a conceptual meaning to the lack of Chinity and would be pretty cool idea for their next full album which could be then reuniting

With China line absent from this comeback, I think it really would be cool if somehow in the new MV they are searching for them, "WJ Please comeback to me/us" rlytearpls.png Then maybe when we do get a OT13 comeback, they finally find them in the new MV rlytearpls.png rlytearpls.png But we don't know how the song is gonna sound like rn though.

That would be really clever and keep the new c-ujungs yearning for ot13

I'm surprised but not shocked that Xiao isn't joining this comeback. She has varieties in China and is rumoured to have signed up a drama with 4months of filming. It may seem easy to include her just for the mv and album but it's not efficient for the rest of the girls to learn 2 formations because we know Xiao won't be able to participate in most stages. Also, imo from the company's perspective, it's hard to just calculate Xiao's contribution/YH's share of revenue from this comeback's activities given the situation. She has a lot of her own stuff to do and room for growth in China so I think it's fair SS gives the Korean members their long awaited comeback and let them have a chance at whatever resources come knocking (varieties, endorsements, etc).

    Plus

I'm just to going to say this bluntly. Majority of Xiao's c-fans are solo stans and barely contributed to WJSN in all aspects even when Xiao is included. They are more interested in her solo activities. So not much loss of support there tbh because their impact is small

I want OT10 to shine and advance their careers too. So far, Bona Luda Eunseo Dayoung are progressing well and building their own connections in the industry.

  6. this is like idol school all over for me again. felt like i wasted time watching every week when my picks weren't favoured and i didn't care for the final group at all.

anyway, Miyu is still here for us so there's no need to abandon the thread! she's not going to stop her youtube channel. i'm going to look forward to her (hopefully) weekly upload. tbh, i'm also glad that all those youtube ad money goes to her solely and our support through there does not line the company's pockets.

also, thank you everyone who brought us updates, translations and videos during this period.
