I don't think Miyeon is actually making the group. She's just advising on some things. Luk Factory is managing/producing/etc them. The member range is definitely unique. Oldest girl is 1989 and youngest ones are 1999. It'll be interesting to see what kind of musical style they go for.

On Insta live Alex was doing a dance class with Whitneybae (& Whit was teaching her how to vlog lol). Then she posted saying she'd be going home soon "just in time for basketball season" so I guess she's about to head back to America.

i'm also very confused is crystal like a codename for anyone alex meets that she can't formally introduce? like there was crystal the chinese trainee and crystal alex's short korean friend and then i thought the brazilian trainee was also named crystal. wasn't she the tall one filming alex's snuggie live? and there was ALSO a crystal with MNC? i never knew she gave that person a name i thought she just said "there's a lady who helps me with my korean sometimes who i met doing mnc"

to me in the vlive it just seemed like hyeme was really surprised by alex's comment like it just came out of nowhere, same as anyone would be whether they were close friends or not but it's safe to assume alex/hyeme/ziu WEREN'T as close this time as they were from demonstrate to saf, because they'd been apart for like half a year and then when alex finally came back she was staying apart from them and they didn't have a lot of time to rebond because it was all rushed practicing

Do the girls have official positions? every time they're asked they get really flustered lol. i assumed positions were merely fan-assigned based on their assignments in the music. hyeme = maknae, main vocal ziu = main vocal jieun = leader, lead vocal ttabo = rapper, sub-vocal yumin = sub-vocal, visual all the girls are stunners but yumin would probs get the visual title because of her former model glory

Yeah but it's still distinctly her voice. Next time they won't have to remove Alex's backup cause she won't have vocals to remove. The only song that's been re-recorded is Make Me Ah. As long as the girls are performing old songs, even SAF, I imagine they'll be lipsyncing over Alex & all the other ex-member voices on it cause DR's dumb.

It also depends if Alex WANTS to do it. Not just whether Ingenio invites her or not. If they've already planned the whole group out without her (cause she was in rania), you can't blame them if they DONT add her in since they also have a lot riding on this. They'll have a minimum 8 months training starting after they're revealed in November. That means it'll be almost a year before they debut. If Alex joins she'll be starting over for real.

I talked to someone who got info on the group directly from Ingenio on Twitter. They made it sound to her like it was an all-Korean group. They said they wanted to prove that an international company could succeed in kpop and that they were gathering their trainees from local places. Like the video they released--that was an SM Dance Academy. I imagine that was part of why they were in Korea recently. They've definitely been working on this for a WHILE. They said they've been getting advice in secret from people who work for MBC and KBS about how best to go about forming a company and promoting. Their concept is strong girls. They specifically told her they were introducing the Korean members in November, not sure if that means all members are Korean or they're only introducing part of the group--but they did say they would love to include a Latino if possible. Alex was not in the group when she spoke with them (this was when Ingenio first announced it), cause when asked they said something like "we'd need to wait till the dr nightmare was over to talk to her". I think they really don't want anything to do with DR anymore--they basically said they were cutting ties again, removing BP from their upload platforms etc. It sounds like: they already have the members decided, they're maybe all Korean, and they come from different academies or maybe even companies (they met with FNC right). The international part is the company itself. Of course I'd love some more foreign in the kpop pool so we'll see what they have up their sleeves. This is just a guess based on what was relayed to me. Not sure how you guys interpret it. I can go back through my convo if you guys want any more info.

ironically also the worst "live" lol since they prerecord vocals but the performance wasn't bad i wish they'd pull out those darker outfits from the dance ver., these racing zags are getting old

so this could potentially be their last week for BBB promos, then according to Ziu they're gonna take two weeks to prepare before coming back with BH hopefully that's enough time cause we really need some MMA kinda turn-around with this comeback actually we need even better, because they won't have alex finally being included to get them some hype we need spot-on vocals, decent live performances, lit choreo, and an actual mv released preferably BEFORE the comeback starts if DR could actually deliver for once, maybe the girls have a chance CONFESSION: i kinda wish they'd go on that Unit Idol Reboot show now that everything they're doing is pretty much desperate measures a lot of active groups seem to be rescheduling or wrapping up promos early so they can go on it (boyfriend, laboum) i wouldn't mind BH being delayed a few months if it meant FINALLY getting some positive attention beforehand

I'm guessing they couldn't release the full busking because it has Alex in it. And the movie maker teaser got so much flack. Maybe they decided to just cut their losses with both of them. Personally I like this a lot more than either of those ^ options. It's well shot, simple, and gets the job done. Comparing the outfits, tho, I really prefer the darker set. I hope we get to see it on stage!

I think it went something like.... DR wouldn't bring Alex back and kept delaying the comeback. So Jian needed a hobby and she discovered golf and she realized amateur golfing was a more stable lucrative future than DR could ever provide so she dropped out. Jian: Crystal left at the same time--assuming she saw the same red flags as Jian (actually can't remember who left first lol). Crystal: Then DR quick quick needed someone to replace them so they added Yumin & Ttabo. ((Crystal is Chinese so it's good odds that Ttabo was DR's "we need a Chinese member so we can keep performing in China" replacement for her)). And then brought Yina back for media play. That pic I gave of the lineup is from the original profile shots. That was the complete lineup at the time, and it was known they were preparing for a comeback (probably why SAF started with OT6 on the track). So there wouldn't have been a 9-member team even if they stayed. Maybe they'd have added Yina for the comeback anyway, but it seemed pretty confirmed to everyone that was the new group until it suddenly wasn't.
