  1. Hello, yes as our rules say you can ask to come back even after have requested a permanent self ban, and you get it right, there are different ways to ask for your account to be unbanned:

if you want to return sooner you can tweet us (@onehallyu), email us (on[email protected]) or get a friend to contact us on your behalf.

And no we can't delete a full account like that, we can delete 10 posts/threads every day, but if you aren't here anymore to ask report to us which ones you want to be delete than we can't do it on our own.

I will permanent ban you as soon as you tell me that you are ready

    Are you ready now?

Yes, I'm ready! And your nickname is so cool, Madame Vastra is <3

  2. Hello!

Could you please permaban me? It'll be even better if my posts, threads, etc. disappear, although I'll understand if they cannot be deleted. Although I can contact the mods using other sns or send an acquaintance on my behalf should I wish to retake my account, is that right?

It's been five years since I have been here, but after some reflection, I decided to finish this stage. Thanks for everybody who made my OneHallyu experience nicer, for those who work hard to keep it alive and I wish you the best!

  3.

I dont get the hype the song is bad but I loved watchinv her perform. I have hardly seen Eurovision acts dance and sing like that it almost reminded me of a kpop solo act (because you know they be dancing and singing all the time)

Eleni is a good performer. Although I prefer her Greek-language hits!

  4. Ugh, yeah those people have money too. They’re still even in the industry still making money. (Let’s stick to the thread topic though.).

I'm really exhausted and I find the whole Az Banks witchhunt boring and blown out of proportion at this rate.

But yeah, oh, well, that new Suiyoubi no Campanella song about the three mystic apes is such a bop. It gives me such Kamehameha vibes: https://onehallyu.com/topic/662814-wednesday-campanella-three-mystic-apes/

  5. Lol that’s stupid. Her musics good, too bad she isn’t that well of a good person.

Other way worse people like Woody Allen don't even flinch at having their crimes exposed, because deep down they know they won't lose their privilege. But yeah, let's throw all the stones at the angry black girl so we don't get to beat the other people, right?

  6. The Israeli song could win if it works well live.

I'm surprised that the Cypriot entry isn't on top of the betting lists seeing as how it's a really impactful song. What a POP diva! Watching Eleni walking down a stairway in the video is more entertaining than 99% of the songs in the competition.

I can see the Australian song getting high votes from the judges but receiving close to none from the public. Hopefully she can grab the audience with her stellar vocals.

    I'm a fan Taemin's song "Move," so I'm digging Sweden's entry.

What was Spain thinking sending that ballad? I don't get it all.

I think Eleni Foureira has better stuff than her ESC entry which... pales a bit in comparison to some of her Greek-language hits. Take a look at this:

The first thing I said after seeing Sweden's entry was "Which Kpop boyband did this boy escaped from?", if you ask me. Then I remembered that, indeed, Scandinavian composers are very involved in nowadays' Kpop music.

On Spain, another chunk of the Operación Triunfo (aka the X-Factor-esque programme for singers which had a comeback after years of absence) fanbase had another strong favourite canditate, Lo Malo, which, in their eyes, is more original and creative than our entry for this year.

Now with Israel (whose entry this year I happen to love), I feel very tempted to write a thinkpiece on its impact this year in the contest, but on the other hand it means exposing myself to dish I can't take at the moment.

  7. OVER MY DEAD BODY, ERIOL, TOMOYO IS A LESBIAN

Thank you for the comment below tho!

LOL I hope people know that this is an edit and that this scene doesn't actually exist (well, it does but the actual scene is between Sakura and Syaoran).

  8. I'm big on Eurovision but I won't be listening to any of the songs until the actual contest. I don't even know which song my country is sending...

Same for me! Lately I prefer to watch only the finals due to the decreasing overall quality of the song roster, even though these five years have given us BOPS

  9. Agreed. Kpop is a revolving door where masses of fans come and leave in a moments notice hence the constant bragging and quarrels online. The high turnover rate of idol groups also plays a role.

Yes. Everything is new to them because they're pretty much always new.

Kpop gets old very easily, there's barely a concept of "historical memory" and veeeery few survive. Jpop I think it's more about "respect for the elders"?
