It's May 16 now. Winner just had a comeback....soooo........maybe in 2 weeks? I really, really, really hope so. It could be a 'digital album' or a 'single album' or a 'digital single album'. The problem is that I've seen the term 'album' used really ambiguously in Kpop. Based on my experience as a Blink, it seems extraordinarily unlikely that YGE would give multiple songs to her. YGE and Teddy have been ridiculously stingy about giving songs to BP. And it took nearly 2 years before BP released a physical album (with only 4 songs).

I am so pissed at the scumbags and trash that caused all the scandals that are dragging down anyone associated with YGE. Damn them. Maybe it's not a bad thing that her debut is being delayed. Blackpink has gotten and is still getting so much hate just for being in YGE. Waiting a bit longer isn't going to hurt her. All her fans have waited so long already. Sigh. I will be utterly shocked if she gets an actual album. It has to be a mistranslation or something. I'm fully expecting just one song, digital release.

NO BANGS. NO BANGS. NO BANGS. NO BANGS. Jennie's and Winner Mino's solo had a two week gap. So March/April is still a possibility.

It had entire concerts uploaded (3-4+ hours), but looking through the channel, it seems like some of them got taken down, though. He somehow used a tripod or something. The fancams are so stable. I wish I actually enjoyed Kdramas. It's a huge part of her career that I'm missing out on. I keep trying, but I give up after a few episodes. I did kinda watch Producers by skipping all the scenes without IU. But the format of that show kinda made it okay to skip huge parts and still understand what's happening.

Blackpink did do some festivals immediately before their last comeback. And a handful of radio shows to promote. But YGE does seem to restrict them from doing many events. Or maybe their appearance fee is extremely high. YGE's issues with Mnet and KBS are definitely worrisome, though. But it doesn't seem to prevent YGE artists from becoming really popular. But yes, as a Blackpink fan, it really sucks because it clearly limits their television appearances.

I doubt we'll ever find out what really happened. And that's fine. A little mystery/controversy just adds to the public interest for both Somi and itzy. Somi seems very happy with her current situation and that's really all I care about. As a soloist, Somi is no longer direct competition for any girl groups. So hopefully, that means there will be a lot less negativity thrown in her direction. In general, female soloist fandoms are very nice and friendly. But if she does get added to Teddy's girl group, it's going to become hell. Endless horrible bashing and fanwars. I have high expectations for how well her debut will chart. And I'm sure that Teddy will do his best to give her the best possible song. I hope that Somi is involved in the song creation/production.

Blackpink is a victim of their own success in regards to releasing more music. Groups make the most money via CF's and concerts. Releasing music is basically marketing to build popularity and fans in order to do more CF's and concerts. They are successfully touring with a limited setlist. They have plenty of CF's. All the girls are extremely popular. As a group, they have massive hype in Korea and internationally. Even their physical sales are very good. From a business standpoint, they don't need to release more music right now. So YGE's strategy is to release music as slowly as possible to maintain Blackpink's massive popularity. YG will use the money that Blackpink makes to support their boy groups and debut more boy groups and plan more boy groups and find more boy trainees.... There are two big questions that could really change things. How much does YGE want to advance into the western markets? And when will Teddy debut his own girl group?

haha, Youtube has me totally figured out. It keeps recommending BBIBBI or You&I MV on nearly every video I watch. Of course, I watch the MV. And then another video or two later, Youtube recommends the MV again. Wow, she donated a half million dollars just this year? Wow. Does anyone have any idea how much money she actually makes per concert or doing an event?

She gets an amazing number of likes/comments on her posts, too. Top tier level of engagement from fans. It's really impressive that she's maintained such a high level of interest during this long, long, long, long wait. March feels too far away!

It's been an extremely enjoyable and rewarding experience being an Uaena over the past 3'ish years. I love everything she's done. Everything she does is gold and there is so much to celebrate. Everyone respects her. I rarely see any hate. All her fans seem mature and don't engage in any negative behavior. Even after 10 years, there is no end in sight to her amazing career. It's so different from my experience stanning other popular artists. Over the past few months, my other top biases have received a massive amount of hate. I'd actually call it cyberbullying. I'm shocked at how horrible so many people in the kpop fandom really are. Haters are everywhere. I don't understand why they are working so damn hard to ruin the experience for everyone else.

WHY? WHY? Make this fan thread yet another place where people will bitch about her? Why not go to one of the many, many threads posted by trolls and haters? Why can't you bash and complain about her there? As long as we are complaining about Jennie, should we bring up all the other issues/controversies/etc, too? Why only focus on Jennie? Let's bash the other members, too. I have a list of issues which I would normally never, ever discuss in a fan thread. But since you all are deciding it's okay to bash Jennie, is it now okay for me to complain about Jisoo, Rose and Lisa?

Tons of total crap gets posted there. That top comment is an utter lie. Jennie is literally one of the most popular female idols and smashing all the Korean charts and Youtube. ALL the evidence proves that top comment is total bullcrap, yet someone on Pann wrote it and 141 people upvoted it. If Pann is the source of a controversy, it's very likely to be completely fabricated or extremely biased.

Congrats to our Jennie!!! I love her so much!! I just want to remind everyone that the haters and the fake blinks are a tiny group of people compared to our actual fandom. They are just really loud because their self-worth depends on spending their lives bitching about people they hate. Jennie (and BP) is utterly slaying everything, breaking records everywhere. The haters have no impact whatsoever. Actually, for celebrities, minor controversies are actually a good thing. It keeps everyone talking about them. The fact that BP is enraging these haters just shows how popular and successful they are. By the way, for the Inkigayo score, did Jennie beat Twice and BTOB in live voting? That ON-AIR 10% score?

Thanks for all the updates!! It's amazing just how well she's charting. I'm sure the girls are so happy. Whoever is striking down all the concert videos on YT is still going at it. Several fansites thought it would be safe to upload her SOLO performance, but nope. I hope Vlive uploads her countdown. I don't think they ever uploaded the DDDD countdown. Two new Star Road episodes with LiChaeng were uploaded on Vlive. After the unbelievable amount of hate she's been getting, it feels really good to see Queen Jennie topping all the charts.

One of the many reasons why it's awesome that she won P48. We are more likely to get fancams and solo cams. I love fancams. I'm noticing that the dislikes/downvotes/hate from salty morons are decreasing nowadays. I also see a lot more positive comments, especially about how she's a great center. Even for the haters, it's impossible to watch one of their performances and not see just how amazing she is. And she's continuing to get a lot of love in Korean forums.

So beautiful. I've watched it so many times already. Unfortunately, I agree. It's strange. It's the hardcore fans that buy photobooks. More casual fans will buy CD's, but not photobooks.

I keep listening to her english greeting at show-con. So freaking cute. I read a couple korean fanaccounts from the fansign saying how beautiful she is in person. There is another long fanaccount which I'm struggling to read, but all the replies are saying that she's an angel. Really sweet personality. One fan asked her how she joined Starship. She said she was found by street casting.

I don't know why I keep forgetting that there are a lot of really horrible people. I need to stop reading comments and engaging people in general forums. It's not worth it at all.
