OMG so epic. Everything was looking like such a mess, a little drama that would end with Alex leaving and RaNia flopping. But then BOOM they just turnt it up so unexpectedly. Biggest pet peeve about kpop fans online: When they get upset about their favorite groups being bashed, they don't have an actual discussion about it. They try to suggest opposing opinions shouldn't be expressed. I've been on this forum for literally a day. And its honestly way better than most kpop places online (like twitter especially holy shit). But still: Get. The fuck. Over it. People will have different opinions. People will maybe even HATE your bias and make jokes at their expense (ZOMG the horror). They might think that the person you are madly in love with has no talent and should never have been allowed to debut. Guess what? It doesn't fucking matter. You have to have a thicker skin than that. Say you disagree with them, argue with them, whatever. But complaining that they have an opinion is just childish. And I promise your idols will be ok if someone bitches about them online. They are famous people, they really don't care lol

Also all Blackpink and Twice have over other groups is their companies and (arguably) their looks. Less known groups are putting on much better stages and have much better music. In my opinion. I don't hate the groups, I definitely dig a lot of what they've done and hope to see them release great music going forward. Right now though their levels of popularity is completely unwarranted, and its clear its just the JYP/YG influence. Seeing them win all those awards for mediocre comebacks has made me very numb to caring about that sort of thing anymore. Because its all a joke.

Hello This group is the next SNSD. Reasoning: 1. Group unusually larger than average 2. Members are have defined specializations and skills in the industry. Each of them excels in their roles. In SNSD you had the dancing line, vocal line, visual line. Here it's literally defined in their groups, just modernized with the hip hop line. 3. There is a very "free" energy to this group. I don't know how to describe it but they have much more charisma than other groups. 4. Each member is very different, personality wise and visual wise. BUT literally all of them are hot, and many of them are just absolutely gorgeous. They are not the next "Nations Girl Group" lol. Separate the two concepts. I like to consider myself a ~kpop historian~ who is above fandoms and the like but Seventeen is too much for me. I honestly have no idea how Pledis created this successful of a formula. But their quick rise to fame was no joke. This group is a group of business men. They know how to sell themselves. And I can't wait to see them continue to rise in the industry, because honestly they are a very fun and lovable bunch.
