CIX's debut mini was definitely a big surprise for me. The first though I had was "wow, this low-key sounds like a SM produced album". Which made sense when I saw the writing credits and a lot of them are producers who work with SM groups, most notably MZMC and Kenzie. 

I'd also mention JUS2's Focus, Heize's She's Fine, Astro's All Light, SF9's RPM, twice's Fancy You, Chungha's Flourishing, most of Oh My Girl's The Fifth Season, Nu'est Happily Ever After...just to name a few lol

Hi guys! I don't really lurk in this thread but I had a quick question: did any of you guys bought the Wannable Membership? And if so, have you guys received it yet?

I guess right now JYPE wants to get Jaebum out there because he'll be the first to enlist in the army once the time comes.

Youngjae will have his time so I'm not worried, but I do wish JYPE would get started earlier on Youngjae's solo activities.... HIS VOICE NEEDS TO BE HEARD.

 

Also let's not forget that Youngjae is really awkward about doing things by himself. The Masked Singer took a lot out of him. 

quite the opposite actually. if anything, masked singer renewed any confidence he lost with all the praises the panel gave him.  he was so, so happy afterwards.  i truly thought jype would try to push him more afterwards(at least with more singing related activities), but i was too optimistic. i'm not gonna say anymore otherwise it would just turn into a big 'ol rant on youngjae's lack of promos so i'll just stop here.

Hi, can someone tell me if bambam's twitter header pic is from their recent concert? My friend thinks it's from SHINee's Tokyo dome concert.

So 'My Swagger' is an upgraded version of 'Hey Yah'...

 

...    ... I don't know how I feel yet.  At least Hey Yah has set my bar super low for My Swagger, so there's that.

 

Excited for JB's track though! He's yet to let me down with his RnB/mid-tempo compositions. 

I think Inki uses the overall digital chart. We just didn't do that well digitally this time around considering Hard Carry had over 130K downloads and Never Ever only had 70K.  And streaming was much lowered compared to Taeyeon and Jungkey.  i think inki taking out live voting really affected us the most.

It's frustrating, they almost won! They really improved! Even Tw*ce couldn't beat t*eyeon. Do you think they can win for show champion (they seem to choose the winner based on votes) and for MCD (the nominated are the two groups who have most of the votes)?

For MB, their physicals should be enough since Music Bank count physicals differently.  And they didn't do too bad for digitals. SNS should give them a good cushion as well.

why...why? why must the title be My Swagger? I also can't trust the music in the teaser because when the teaser for Hey Yah came out I was all "OMG THIS SOUNDS SOUNDS SO GOOD AND PROMISING" and well...we got...something alright.  I can only hope for the best though.

omg some idiots on twitter is trying to drag youngjae for being "racist" cause he said bambam is the color of cola when he meant the color of the tin can cause bambam was turning red from embarrassment at that time. and it's from their idol battle likes episode that's like, one months ago too. kpop fans are so toxic, spreading things out of context. im tired.

People on Twitter (at least the ones i'm following) are speculating Jomalone is actually Jackson. What do you guys think about it since it seems no one's talking about it here. I can totally hear the resemblance though. Parkson shippers are also saying it's Jackson because Jo Malone is Jinyoung's favorite cologne brand (this is the first time i'm hearing it,though  ) and it's too much to be a coincidence.  

it isn't though. the beginning of the his rap in Sin almost made me think of Jackson, but the rest doesn't sound like him at all.  It sounds a lot like a native Korean rapping. I mean,  I almost thought the rapper was Chanyeol for a quick second. 

I'm gonna be that fan that lowkey wished it was Youngjae instead, but I'm happy nonetheless.  Can't wait to hear the song!

i can't believe how much Hey Yah's MV made me forget how bad the song actually is.  I'll just watch the MV on mute because I love everything about it...except the actual song.

I think it's a bad move for them to release anything in Japan until they at least get better recognition in Korea they should have focused on that first. They should just instead focus on their album Turbulence and making a repackage on that album.

eh, i'm fine with them "promoting" in japan.  i put quotes because besides the few fanmeets they do and maybe a couple of live music shows they go on, their actual japanese promotions are pretty short.  also, japan is where they make good money, so there's that too.

 

jype doesn't really do repackages, though mad was an exception.  and i don't think they are planning to considering the whole "flight log" theme they're doing.

edit. listened to it again and wooooow...that was bad. i'm sure i'd love hearing it in a concert setting because it seems like that's what the song was made for, but it's definitely not something i'd listen to on a daily basis.  please let the b-sides be good though.

JYPE said Youngjae couldnt attend schedule for today because of health restrictions.

It made me think of Got7 mentioning he had a heart problem. Youngjae assured it wasn't a serious issue but he just had restrictions on things he could. So I was thinking if today absence had something to do with whatever heart condition he has.With how tough Hard Carry choreo is I could see him getting worn out easier than normal.

I'm glad Youngjae getting rest and JYPE is looking out for his health in this instance. I hope whatever it is he gets better soon.

 

Although I'm still curious what kind of heart condition he has that its serious enough to require restriction but wouldn't restrict him from performing as an idol,

he doesn't have a heart condition though. whatever was said during the vlive (i think that's where he said that) was done in a joking manner.

 

the speculated reasons why he's on bedrest is due to a supposed back injury and/or because of his dieting that he's been doing lately.  none of which have been confirmed.  

Legend of the Sea Teaser. No Jinyoung in it, but it looks pretty epic! Let's hope the anticipation is high (I mean, it's Lee Minho and Jeon Jihyun so...)
