Just finished “Dark†on Netflix. OMG it’s sooo good and the actors are sooo good. It’s a sci-fi/mystery/thriller German show and it’s dark and gritty. It’s probably the trippiest show I’ve seen but it addictive asf. If you’re gonna watch this, join the “Dark†subreddit to help guide you through the more puzzling parts.

Not a book but I just finished the short story “Omakase†by Weike Wang for the New Yorker. As for a book, I’m currently thinking about “The Lake†by Banana Yoshimoto or “The Three Body Problem†by Cixin Liu.

This week’s ep was actually pretty funny. Jennie really stepped up from her last ep and her unluckiness really fit well. Too bad Chi Yeol didn’t get a lot of screen time and same thing with Jisoo, but overall a good episode. As for next week, I’m praying that name tag ripping comes back with Tom Cruise. Let’s hope the PD doesn’t mess it up.

I think he already knows he’s not the number one option. It more about if he wants to be a bench player. That’s the whole problem with OKC.

I only saw the live action tv show

Just finished “The Snowmanâ€, woooooo that was a long ride. Starting another book called Miss Smilla’s Sense of Snow.

I started reading “The Snowman†by a Norwegian author. I’m liking it so far, maybe I should start getting into more Scandinavian literature. Despite the horrible reviews I’ve seen for the movie, I really wanted to watch it but I decided to read the book first bc I’m gonna assume it’s much better than the movie.

I’m not exactly sure where to put this but I’m leaving it here. Forgotten (2017), starring Kang Ha-neul and Kim Moo-yeol - 9.5 Such an amazing movie with some mindfuckingness mixed in there. The narrative is kind of convoluted because of perspective you watch it from but once everything is laid out, that’s when it hits you. The director and writer IMO did a good job with this movie and the story wasn’t soooo complex that they dug themselves in a hole. I think this is a great flick to watch with a companion you guys can get mindfucked together, plus it’s available on Netflix too.

Just finished the first ep and OMG ITS SOOOOO GOOD. I really like how this chairman-secretary couple fit together. PSJ’s character is goofy af and that scene with the pimple had me dying. I’m surprised that his character isn’t much of a jerk but more so narcissistic and the scenes with his friend, talking about what’s wrong with secretary Kim was also very funny. Ughhh, really can’t wait for ep 2

LY: Tears and Wings are BTS’ worst albums

Ready Player One - 8/10 The visuals were amazing but the movie relied on it too much. It did give us a lesson at the end about focusing on reality and I think that would apply to our society today. I wished the plot was a bit more intricate and gave us some more character development but it gave me a new OTP: Tye Sheridan and Olivia Cooke

Grand Prince: 8.5/10 The writing wasn’t the best and there were times where you’d scratched your head and say why? But at least she does stay consistent. The chemistry between Jin Se-yeon and Yoon Shi Yoon was amazing and they shot their way up my OTP list. HyunHwi forever! But not just the leads, Joo Sang Wook showed his experience as a veteran actor in his role as Lee Kang. I was also surprised by Jihyun who used to be the leader of 4Minute, she did a good job IMO. Didn’t pay much attention to this drama when it first aired but I binged it in 3 days sooo hehehe.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t be willing to air it in Korea. The cast is a pretty big draw and it’s the same PD as My Love from Another Star.

I hope TVN picks it up if they haven’t passed on it already.
