    Yeah, I think it’s ads and CFs. Viet artists rarely release albums and their MVs are packed w/ product placement. They perform a lot at festivals I think, even provincial ones. I don’t know how often they have fanmeets but I remember Jack & KICM’s fanmeet was pretty packed.

    I really hope they don't kill off Rang he's my favourite character, but after we found out that Yeon is the most precious thing to him it does somehow feel like foreshadowing for him to sacrifice himself this time or something.

    I'm still curious how Ji-ah's parents are linked to the imoogi or what happened to them. They visited the cave which in mythology is said to be where imoogi often live. I wonder if Rang somehow controlled her parents to go to the cave to help the evil man like how he made the villagers on that island sacrifce themselves at the well.

    Well he was there on the night of accident right? I think they just wanted a good excuse for Ji-ah to look for Yeon, I don’t know. 

    Ji-ah’s parents is still one big mystery. I mean, why were they at the island? Where did they go? The initial target was Ji-ah, so what happened? Maybe Yeon or the bead saved her?

    Also, I really wonder if what’s gonna happen to Ji-ah because the bead’s gone now. Is the imoogi gonna start mind-controlling her? If this is like Voldemort and she’s a Horcrux, Yeon needs to kill her again. Or maybe, they can somehow remove the imoogi from her soul or something like that. And I’m reallllyyyy curious if those scales are gonna stay on her neck permanently O.o

    Ayoooo I’m watching it lmao

    I kinda just shut my eyes when it comes to Yeon knowing Ji-ah since she was a kid, because we can see that he’s also had a similar thing with A-Eum. But the show doesn’t really dwell on it much so I just assume he didn’t really start falling in love w her until she was an adult. We know that he kinda watched over Ji-ah when she left the hospital as a kid but we don’t know for how long. 
     

    Now, I can totally see Rang perhaps sacrificing himself for Yeon in the end, because I feel like he actually doesn’t want to help the evil dude who wants to wake the Imoogi. Because the man saved his life, Rang is indebted to him right? And Yeon is the most precious thing to him. You can see his sadness after trading Yeon away. 

    I’m really excited now because I feel like the story is ramping up, because all the pieces are coming together. I’m just really thinking about the ending because HOW ARE THEY GOING TO END UP TOGETHER?!?!

    Love To Hate Me

    It’s so smooth, it’s pretty BP-esque but also different from their other songs.

    You Never Know 

    I always love their ballads, so I’m not surprised that it’s higher. I think i would rank this over Hope Not. I also like the strings(?) at the end too!

    Crazy Over You 

    I actually put this over Pretty Savage because I like the beat more. I’m sad because IMAGINE IF THEY WENT FOR SOME ORIENTAL EDM OR WHATEVER ITS CALLED. Like if they followed the intro sigh

    Pretty Savage 

    I don’t know how to explain it, but it feels like DDDD/KTL + FY/DKNWTD = PS. I think the beat drop could’ve been better, it sounds like they just remixed the ending of DDDD. But the rest of the song is pretty solid. 

    Bet You Wanna aka BardiPink

    This sounds basic and something from like 2015. Buttttt, I actually like it and Cardi fits in the song. Yeah, it’s safe and I’m disappointed but I expected worse. I wanted a full on rap song or something akin to the Savage Remix, but I’ll take what I can get. 

    Lovesick Girls

    Lmao it’s forgettable but I appreciate the change from the past eras because god forbid we get an actual chorus ugh. I wanted it to sound more like “Heroine” by Sunmi but it’s whatever. 

    How You Like That

    It’s unranked, but if I were rank them, it’ll probably HYLT > KTL > DDDD

    THE ALBUM

    If I were to be as objective as I can, then THE ALBUM is pretty... average. I feel like the songs were all decent (and safe), and nothing really stood out to me. They sorta experimented w/ Crazy Over You, but that’s kind of it tho. Oh the other hand, this album is very BP and it’s like, their sound y’know? I don’t think I’ll be listening to the full album that much, prolly just gonna choose my faves. Maybe it’s cuz I’m still salty we never got a PWF 2.0 or we didn’t get a stronger title track. I’m not overwhelmed but not underwhelmed, I’m just... whelmed and I don’t know if that’s a bad thing or not lol.

    I’m happy for the sales number tho, I just hate that it means that the YG album starvation method indeed works
