Tbh I would love it if it was actually an extension of pretty u and they use another cool prop on stage. I wanted to say earlier that while pretty u's nature is more pink and rosy, this would be blue (if that even makes sense haha). Similar to pastel vs vibrant colors for adore and mansae respectively and how mansae is an extension of adore u as a song too (they sound similar, in a way). Or we could get the pretty u MV in a blue filter with sea sound affects lol "Notice me senpai"

I'm thinking of a more youthful spring/early summer vibe now. Glad we might be getting a brighter concept!

Interesting considering some members were originally part of other units but I can't completely change the V-H-P lineup e.g seungkwan, an amazing vocal and what he was scouted for - his voice is too good to be shadowed by something else. Performance unit - vernon (used to train as a dancer AND rapper), minghao, jun, coups (some people used to say he was one the best dancers predebut or at least a very good one, like woozi) Vocal unit - hoshi, Joshua, jeonghan, seungkwan, dk Hip hop - dino, mingyu, wonwoo, woozi (never forget the wally mixtape y'all) I would have put minghao in hip hop but it would conflict with the language barrier at debut plus he's a potential b-boy god so I can't let that go. And I sacrificed jun to put hoshi as a vocal sorry jun. But this sort of reminds me of how they were going to debut in Korean/Chinese/Japanese sub units and if we had that old idea up in the air this would be very different and..odd with only 13 members.

I always thought mingyu wouldn't have the best voice but if he sings seriously, he sounda surprisingly soothing - guess his singing just fits expectation the most. His singing in that suju - U cover a few months before boomboom was also surprisingly impressive and even if it wasn't perfectly sung live, the fact he could do that in the studio alone is...wow mingyu I never knew lol.

This. Their dynamic is a huge part of why I stanned in the first place and most of the other groups didn't burn as long as my love for svt. Seeing a group that's constantly maturing and evolving as idols AND people really makes me appreciate the music and performances they make (mostly) together. Not to mention sifting through predebut vids where they're learning together and preparing stages, it makes seventeen feel much more solid, grounded and 'within reach' (if that's the right way to explain it) since they're one of the most human idols I stan...Plus it's nice to see friends being friends lol
