i honestly didnt expect the disband to hit me this hard (i was so shook i felt like throwing up) but fuuuuuuuck i honestly thought that they would resign as wsl did so well and they were rising again (or that they would resign with another agency or do a co management with another agency) but looks like theyre done i promised myself if the wonder girls disband that i would leave kpop so this is a good bye too i guess (if anyone wants wons hmu) lets not forget wonder girls amazing achievements over the years successfully introducing a new song style to kpop (hook songs) sohee's omona the "wonder woman" dance that was done by practically everyone in korea only girl group to have three mega huge nationwide hits (tell me, so hot nobody) creating the modern girl group (catchy hook songs and easy to follow choreo) first hallyu stars first kpop group to spread kpop outside east asia (nobody was a huge hit in sea and gained popularity in the states) reaching a godly level of popularity in 07/08 that no 2nd or 3rd gen groups that could reach there are way more but thats all i can think of WONDER LEGENDS NEVER DIE

honestly no matter how hard jype tries there will never be another group like the wonder girls if they had not existed kpop groups and girls groups wouldnt be as big and kpop in general wouldnt be as global i hope that everyone ended off on good terms and in 5-10 years time well have a reunion concert with all 7 members

my fave thing is when people talk about the renewal the titles say "wonder girls looking for new agency" not "wonder girls might disband" the wonder bond is too strong and im sure they'll stay together forever plus if jyp doesnt resign them im sure most agencies would want them, especially after how big why so lonely was (and theyll probably promote them better) im hoping that if the members do sign to different agencies they could be like the brown eyed girls and still come together as a band!!!! wonder legends never die

i honestly dont think that they would disband they have a great (real) bond and didnt they recently state that the reason that the wsl ep had so little songs was that they were saving it for a full length album? plus wasnt yenny supposed to comeback in the beginning of 2017? hopefully they stick together and become like shinhwa

Hi new poster here to be honest i think now that "why so lonely" had become song of the summer and the fact that they are slowly rising again will give them more leverage in contract renewal than other acts but jyp also did put them on a 3 year hiatus and didnt give them a song for their last comeback so who knows he better not fuck this up is2g
