Lately i've been wondering whether or not TOP going to the military would really affect BB that much.. Dont get me wrong hes irreplaceable but lets be honest that was mainly in the earlier years.. Over last few years TOP has made himself less useful to the point where the only thing he has going for him imo is his chemistry w/ GD. And that doesn't really get highlighted much in BB songs except maybe Monster in recent memory. Without TOP the group dynamic would change a lot but if Taeyang started rapping I think it could be really interesting. They could make more hip hop-ish songs with a hook sung by Seungri and/or Daesung and verses from GDYB... I dig it.

 

 

A bunch of people would be upset though. If they completely excluded TOP from the group while he was doing military service and Taeyang replaced his 'rapping', BB would lose so many fans. Don't get me wrong but it's pretty obvious that most V.I.P's favorite members are GD and TOP... 

 

Also, TOP has a really unique voice and timber that I don't think can be replaceable. I do respect your opinion, however. 

I think you mean *Group B there lol. But yeah, it'll be interesting to see how things unfold over the next few weeks.

 

My best-case-scenario would be for Group A to debut now and Group B to debut later.

And yes, I totally agree with that. I think they both deserve a chance. I just hope neither of the groups become BB duplicates though. As much as I love BB, I want them to have their own style in a way.

Group B definitely has it. We've seen almost nothing of their talent or group chemistry yet the majority prefer group B already just because of their looks.

 

For every KSY fan that would vote for group A just because he's in it, there's one that probably wants group B to win so that KSY can stay as a soloist... And LSH isn't really all that popular either.

 

Team A does not have the advantage that people are mistakenly assuming they have.

 

I saw them rapping and dancing and I think they're quite talented actually. The majority of the people who prefer Group B are the ones who are Bobby or B.I fangirls, I don't really see what's so great about those two, but meh.

 

I suppose that's true, I can't really argue with your logic. I already saw a bunch of comments saying that they'll be voting for Group B just because they want KSY to remain a soloist... which I find ridiculous tbh.

 

We'll just have to wait and see.

On the contrary, I feel like YG is actually trying to even out the playing field by promoting group A a bit. He knew that group B had that "flower boy" appeal and GD's endorsement. It's gonna be pretty difficult for group A to win at this point.

 

I don't think both groups have the flower boy appeal.... perhaps that really young guy does but I honestly don't think the others do. But most of the people who'll be voting in the long run are the ones who are going to be watching the show, so if YG completely promotes Team A 'more' on the show, I don't think that's fair at all for Team B.

 

Also, KSY being in Team A plays a huge factor.

 

I bet a lot of V.I.P's are going to vote for Team B considering the fact that GD likes them though.

So pretty much YG is basically saying 'vote for Team A.' With the story of the guy visiting his poor family at his home in a really, tiny island and how they were crying and all that... seems a little unfair for Team B. But gotta admit, I felt bad for him too. He was also cute, lol.

 

Seems like Team A is better in terms of singing... while Team B is better in terms of rapping & dancing. I honestly don't know who to vote for. I need to learn more about them, gr.

I want to root for Team B just because of him.. His smile, omg. He looks really nice and totally chill while the others are trying too hard to look like they have 'swag.'

Am I the only one who finds it totally unfair to pit 20 year old's against 17 year old's...? Judging from their 'average' age, I mean. I already feel bad for the losing team, though. One of the contestant is hardly 15.
