    Problematic Men is such a gift. I love it. It is a huuuuge part of why I stan RM, secondary to his rap obviously. The greatest tragedy of the fandom, in my opinion, is that so many episodes remain unsubbed. Apparently it is notoriously difficult to sub... but I want it. I tried watching raw footage, but I need to know what bae is saying. Louder, for the people in the back! And LurkerMon...

    I am getting low-key worried that my Muster DVD hasn't arrived yet. I ordered through YesAsia, siiiigh. I shouldn't have cheated on my one true love, ktown4u. Or was it kpopmart? Apparently I am not that loyal.

    I loved it. It is a slice of life drama that has some of the best, most realistic writing I have ever seen in a kdrama. My sister kept pushing me to watch it, but the workplace concept seemed a bit tired to me. When I finally started it, I couldn't stop. It doesn't disappoint. It is basically about the lives of office workers, told through the lens of this one guy who was a baduk player that nearly went professional. So he didn't go to college or get this internship like everyone else did. But it is a really beautiful examination of humanity and contains one of my favorite tropes -- the idea of a "found family." All the characters are very fully realized but still flawed -- and I love how the relationships grow and change over the course of the show. Watch it!

    The glory of Misaeng! Best drama. I'm here for the flower-man-date. I love that Bogum was his friend before BTS exploded in popularity. Makes it even purer~ (Though Bogum is like... Korea's Son so I'm not trying to imply that he stood to gain anything from befriending a "famous" Taehyung versus an emerging-idol Taehyung.) I still need to do my WHY I LOVE for RM and Jimin... then V. Maybe I will be able to vomit about RM tonight? I shall consult my wine and decide later.

    I do not speak Korean so I can't speak to the accuracy of his pronunciation. In my mind, I think RM thinks of sound as something to be manipulated. So there are plenty of times when he pronounces things in an odd way on purpose. I notice this mostly with his English since I speak the language though. In short, I think the overall flow matters more to him than the precision of hitting consonants and vowels, so to speak. If it fits with his flow, even if it isn't technically a flawless enunciation, he goes with it. Whether or not that is a good thing or a bad thing would be something of opinion, right? For me, I love it because the flow and the way he hits sounds and his fun staccato rapping blending into something smoother is so pleasing to the ears.

    I hate seeing people try to drag you. To make it a BTS analogy, it is like how RM was a lightning rod for a lot of the hate BTS got initially because he was the most public face. It feels at times like you're our most public face, just through virtue of being a mod who is proudly ARMY, and so it feels like you get it worse than a lot of us. I dislike it. I honestly can't believe people don't get warning points for the targeted attacks. Or maybe they do! I hope so.

    I love how abruptly it starts. So bizarre and jarring. My brain is now circling the drain of what it could be about based on the few English phrases I understood and some of the imagery in the video. Anxiety/societal pressure? Having your teeth fall out is a common metaphor/dream that people who feel anxious have. "Get in step, little elephant~" about society telling you what to do. Rampant speculation. Can't be helped.

    Belugas~ I'm so happy they got to have fun in Chicago. I don't remember hearing about them being spotted at the aquarium either, which is extra nice because it means they got to stay relatively incognito.

    "They are individually brilliant, but still somehow more than a sum of their parts." Best summary of BTS ever? That HollywireTV interviewer was adorable and super kind. They seemed really entertained and amused by her, and I love that she asked to learn some Korean.

    I feel the big feet pain. :( I am a 10 in most shoes, but an 11 in heels. Not quite as tall as you, just 5'8". I've always liked my height. I was tall enough, but never felt super tall. My eldest sister is a little over six feet so I always felt short by comparison growing up. I was taller than my mom by the time I hit middle school though.
