  1. I was ransacking for some GIFs of Ra On doing the traditional dance for CP during the King's feast (which I couldn't find any :( ) when I came across this. Let me just say I already have a soft spot for men who plays the piano well, but this + PBG =
  2. Lmao everybody has flaws. But, honestly, I'd love to get to know PBG on a personal level; I think he's the type who is a sweet gentleman and very Christian-like wanna kidnap him ? I think he'll be the first Korean actor whom I don't want as a boyfriend- only because I wouldn't want to risk our relationship for anything ahaha
  3. I'm hoping his popularity will surpass that of DotS. It's such an exciting drama, none of the episodes drag or are pointless; there is always progress in the plot and development in characters- I can't ask for anything more just carry on the way they are doing~ Oh. My. God these two are beau I kind of hope Bo Gum will release a piano single/album. Sometimes actors are forced into singing an OST, but I personally find it more appealing if the actor can play the piano, then just play a few piano solos to feature in the drama. This is the perfect example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xFAVcexVsQ I find this instrumental accompanied by the singer's humming so sentimental and heartbreaking. It doesn't have to be songs, just merely that I find satisfying.
  4. I never said you were unhappy...? lol I didn't mean to come across as accusatory or rude, sorry My imagination likes to run wild why is he so pale btw? am I missing something?? probably am
  5. You and me both. Also he's Christian, so that means he's the faithful type; I can't even dislike him a liiittle bit for thinking he might go off his partner after a certain length of time. ;_; he's such a treasure; Iet's love him while we're allowed to, before he's taken by his future beloved [emoji24]
  6. I got the eunuch too ._. I swear I specifically chose "just give me the Crown Prince" option for the Q wha kind of guy do you like? I think the drama is more important than any concerts right now because the series is going so great, and if he delays the entire cast he'll only mess up the entire crew's schedule. Besides, this drama may have already proved as his great début, which can be his first stepping stone to future roles in other dramas. I think it's great that he got the opportunity to work with experienced actresses like Kim Yoo Jung, who is probably an expert in period dramas. I have a friend who also stans B1A4; she is absolutely overjoyed that Jinyoung is acting in a drama because that both promotes himself and his fellow members. Lol if I were Kim Yoo Jung, I'd be tempted to peck PBG on the lips once he closed his eyes just out of fun and for a giggle.
  7. Yes; I think only the queen and his concubines were allowed to touch him, but unmarried girls were not to go near him- or so I thought. His queen and concubines should have separate quarters and the King back then would have slept with whomever he favoured that night, but I don't think any of his married ladies would sleep in his bedchamber. I don't know for sure, but that's how it's been set in the past historic dramas. I'm probably in the minority for hoping PD won't force kissing scenes on them; not that I don't enjoy their chemistry, I just think it might overkill their moments together. Haha I'm going to take it slow: I'm gonna drag out the episodes as long as possible (but I know I probably won't be able to stop once I start ep 8). I can't wait to get this on DVD once it's over; it can go alongside my 'Moon that Embraces the Sun'
  8. Gosh, this is getting intimate... was it acceptable back in the olden days that a girl could lie so close to the Crown Prince? /sighs why is it that the closer those two get, the more sadness that's to come- almost like a curse? He is a muppet puppet! and they are pulling the strings! Anyway, I've reached episode 8, which I remembered wrongly as I apparently stopped at the end of ep 7 last time. Now I'm beginning ep 8 where Sam Nom reveals his true gender identity [emoji38]can't wait to see the look on CP's face I would too, oppahhhh take meeeee I'm so pathetic pitiful, ain't I
  9. 7 qualities Park Bo Gum looks for in his future wife The popular actor reveals what he looks for in a partner. One of the hottest actors in the Korean entertainment scene right now is definitely none other than Park Bo Gum. He is currently receiving a lot of love and attention in the on-going drama, “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds†on KBS, in which he plays a crown prince. He is especially popular among women, which is probably why he is often asked questions regarding his ideal type, as many women are curious about what he looks for in a partner. Although he has vaguely mentioned his ideal type in a previous interview, many might be happy to see this more detailed list of seven characteristics Park Bo Gum looks for in his ideal type. Check out the list below! 1. A woman who leaves a bright, happy impression with her beautiful smile. 2. A woman with short hair 3. A kind-hearted, polite woman. 4. Someone that is understanding and caring. 5. Someone that looks in the same direction or has the same perspectives. 6. Someone who can cook well. 7. Someone who shares the same values, as well as similar philosophy in life and religion. CR Koreaboo 1. Give me food, I'll give you my happy beautiful smile 2. I'll cut my hair monk-style 3. I'll try to be polite and not claw their eyes out if fans ever touch my Bo Gummy 4. I care for oppa; I'll bubble wrap and put him in my pocket <3 5. I'll always look in Bo Gummy's direction <3 6. I can do beans on toast harr 7. My philosophy and religion is Bo Gummy- I worship oppahh
  10. I always think dramas that were based on web-/novels and stick to its plot word-for-word usually enjoy high TV ratings. So I hope this drama follows the same footsteps and really stick to the plot, but perhaps- as you say- add a happy twist if the novel ends sadly. I don't think I can bare the grief if the main couple aren't together or one of them dies a tragic death. Watching this for the second time really helps to fill the gaps in the story; I didn't notice some dialogues held specific significance, and now I understand mostly everything. Except Ra On's true identity, which I'm beginning to grasp... As for the King, I do understand the guilt of his past actions. I mean, killing 2,000 people- innocent or not- is like having blood on his hands that will never wash off. I'm not surprised the Premier was behind the massacre. In a way (not sure if you've watched it) this drama is like another version of 'The Moon that Embraces the Sun'; both Crown Princes face the evil Right Minister; the King is useless; the heroine is usually the hitch in the villain's plans; and, probably in this one too, the second male lead sacrifices himself for the greater good. What I really wanted to know was why the King was under a trance when he sometimes held one-to-one meetings with Premier? For instance, the Premier would suggest something and the King would meekly accept his suggestion as if in a trance, then the next moment he seemed to snap out of it and the Premier had to remind him what he had just agreed on. I don't understand that part.
  11. Bo Gummy's gaze in the drama is absolutely hypnotising! I can't help but be trapped in his gaze that either holds smugness, so much happiness or the world's sadness /sighs right in da kokoro
  12. By the way, I notice that the incident involving a guy at the beginning who was courting a Minister's daughter-in-law was never resolved... they were never caught and Sam Nom's involvement died away. So is that the end of that or does it pick up again in future episodes I wonder? Also, I'm confused as to whether the King is experiencing hallucinations- some kind of witchcraft going on- or is it simply just his mental stress kicking in?
  13. I don't usually like spoilers, but I really want to know what's happening since I'll be re-watching 'Moonlight'. I'm praying for a happy ending 'cause I won't be happy if it doesn't! I quite like sad endings as they're memorable, but not in this case. I want to kiss Bubblegummy too
  14. OMG you soo should ! In my opinion, it's the best historical drama because the plot is rich in conspiracy and righteousness, tinged with humour and wrapped in fated romance. It's almost perfect... Even he looks addicted[emoji38] By the way, what's a "sageuk"? Is it a genre?
  15. Oh boy, am I glad! It usually takes quite a while before the guy realises the girl isn't the same gender as him ! But, frankly, how can anyone not see Sam Nom is a girl? Look at the face shape, the eyes, the cheekbones, the (cherub!) lips! It's like ' You're Beautiful ' all over again; just how can you NOT notice? Eh enough venting because I can't love this drama enough. This has to be the second best drama after 'Moon that Embraces the Sun'. I haven't seen a historical drama as exciting until now! Urgh I actually will follow the storyline properly the second time because I couldn't concentrate whilst looking at Bubblegum ;) his smile is absolutely mesmerising to watch... /drools I could've carried on to ep 9 but I felt the episodes were running out so I had to stop somewhere, and at that point I was satisfied that the guy fell in love with the girl- even though he didn't know it. I'm glad he quickly found out bcause I would've continued to cringe at the idea of CP kissing his eunuch... I hope with all my heart that this drama ends on a happy note. I saw previews of a bleeding BoGummy so I'm starting to be put off by the angst side of this drama. But have no fear, I will continue watching it since I've waded too deep in the drama that I can't not continue. This drama needs a happily-ever-after; as long as the main couple survives and are happy, nothing else matters. CP might be dethroned and whatnot, provided they are together it's all that matters! Yes! I will continue to stalk this thread hehe I'll probably read the spoilers so I'm not in too big of a surprise should something bad happen. So I can be mentally prepared[emoji14]
  16. I'm going to rewatch the whole thing because there are some bits that I don't understand. For example, CP was destined to die??? So yeah, gonna try and make sense of everything before I move on from ep 8. I hope CP discovers soon that his eunuch isn't a man; t'was so cringy to watch the kiss scene!
  17. Hi guys! I've been backtracking the entire thread for the past couple of days and I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU (esp to you, FranCella) for updates and HQ's! I've been saving them like crazy. I've stopped at the end of ep 8 not because I got bored of it, on the contrary I'm gonna "frugally" watch the following episodes as I hate cliff-hangers and I hate the wait so much. I stopped after CP kissed his eunuch, which I found somewhat disgusting because- technically- CP was kissing a man... but anyway, I might re-watch the whole thing again if it means I can slow down my progress and not gobble up everything in one go. For those who sometimes asked "where are the moonlighters?"; I'm here! I'd love to join the convo, but I won't be up-to-date like you guys!
