  1.

There is so many problematic things about this video that I honestly don't know where to start, I don't follow this guy at all and just saw that he commented on Holland's debut that's why I watched it. The guy thinks he is some specialist when it comes to Korea and their culture but when he talks about lgbt shoving their sexuality down people's throat, or how koreans are actually happy with hiding their sexuality and living in the closet, painting Korea as almost the most gay friendly country in the world (I'm not saying that younger generation didn't change but Korea as a country is still homophobic as hell) I ask myself where is he getting all those informations from because I have lgbt friends living in Korea, one has been living there for almost 10 years and his opinions are completely different.

I can't believe you almost made me give this piece of shit a view.

Anyway, the "shove it in your face" bullshit pisses me off so much.  99.9% of everything being het is perfectly fine, but being open about being gay is suddenly too much.

  2. don't believe this so easily y'all, pls

but if she does tell you this kind of thing, she might not know herself, and some of the members are so young, they might even not know it themselves or just don't wanna say it. So yeah

also if M kisses girls then she isn't straight at all lmao

I must be out of the loop because I have no idea who tf you guys are talking about.

  3. Ikr? It's so funny to look at the comments, b/c some people are like "omg friendship goals <333", like sis, they just met, how's that friendship goals? lmao.

Here's a summary of Hyuna x Somin story. For those who are lost, don't know what's happening.

First, Somin talked twice about how cool Hyuna was during vlives.

Hyuna found out about this and tried to reach her out.

What makes it even more suspicious is that Jiwoo is a fan too and her ass got left in the dust lmao.

  4. Update on the Top 5 girls I think might actually be gay:

    1. Tiffany- Honestly she pings a lot, her interactions with Taeyeon are very suspicious.

    2. Joy- She went on WGM with that dude duhh, that's a a strong indicator.

    3. Rosé- She's a lefty. You know what they say about lefties ;))

    4. Jihyo- She's hands down the gayest in the group. You just have to pay attention to her.

    5. Seolhyun- Do I even have to say anything..c'mon. She's even crushing on Taeyeon (too bad she's straight).

Idk guys...I honestly think Im onto something. Thoughts?

People taking your April Fools post seriously lmao.

  5. Just saw the latest Knowing Brothers ep. Did not like her response to the boy that wanted to marry Seo Jang Hoon. Like I get that it's a joke, I get that she can't really say "Go for it, boo!" But it still left a bad taste in my mouth. Welp, congrats to the actor I guess :/

What did she say?  I'm guessing something like 2 males can't get married or something.

tbh it makes me wonder how many idols don't even consider genuine same sex attraction to be a thing.  That's a common mindset in homophobic societies.  It's likely why you see idols say the "but we're both male/female" line all the time.

Yeah I thought Hyolyn was straight at first, but she is just really feminine on stage. Off stage, she is boyish, and I can say with like 98% positivity that she likes girls.

Is there any other reasoning other than this masculine/feminine thing?  idk I find it pretty ridiculous to put people into such strict boxes like that.

  7. I'm not really bothered whether or not the explicit scenes are shot from a male gaze perspective or not, I guess I've become immune and no longer expect decent representation or smth..

Also, I've noticed that gay women tend to frequently disagree on what scenes are considered as male perspective on lesbianism and which are actually realistic, so I'll hold off on judgement 'til I watch it for myself.

Agreed.  In fact, the term male gaze is all but meaningless to me now.  It seems as if people say any and every lesbian scene is for the "male gaze".  As if women can't enjoy them or they're purely designed for male pleasure.  I like PCW's response to it:

"Although it is the story of four people, two men and two women, it is clear that the love between these two women is the key element of the film. In the portrayal of this love, emotions and desire, there's no way around avoiding the act that arises from such raw emotion and desire," the South Korean director said Sunday at the Cannes Film Festival. "I think avoiding it would be odd, like a war film without battle scenes."

  8. I have to disagree with you. At least Yoona and Irene acknowledges lesbianism as something serious and REAL, and are clear to tell their fangirls that they are straight and feel uncomfortable with girls confessing to them. As a lesbian, if I were famous I'd say the same thing about how I feel uncomfortable with fanboys proposing to me.

The way you say it, you make it sound like it's a good thing that TWICE sees lesbianism as a joke, but it's a bad thing for Irene and Yoona to be serious about it?

Those are assumptions you're making though.  How do you know Twice sees it as a joke?  The way I see it is idols playing along with their fans.  Joking sure, but hardly a statement on their views of lesbianism.  As for Irene and Yoona.....idk, their reactions just seem unnecessary.  Fans of all gender and orientation do that with their favorites.
