Yey, I'm happy I've found this thread, it means there are more book-worms here on OH ^^ I'm currently reading 1Q89 by Murakami and I'm almost finishing book 1. Theoretically, the story is really interesting and I'm really digging the plot (I'm still on the first book though - I've seen many complaints that book 3 is a total mess) but I've started wondering if 900+ pages were really necessary to tell the whole thing?!? Aside from Murakami's typical descriptions of food/music/books/philosophy that are always the same and which starts being annoying after you read 10+ of his books, I feel like the whole setting in which he decided to put two main protagonist is so... underwhelming and not-worthy of having three full books. If someone has read the whole thing and can prove me that three books were indeed needed for the whole plot I'll take all my words back

Hi! I've noticed that sometimes some posts I've made don't go into my overall posts number (for example, it says I have made 250 posts, I reply to 4 threads and it still says I have made 250 posts ) Does the number change later after the system accepts that I have made all those posts or are they gone with the wind? It's not a matter of life and death question, but I'm aking because of badges and wons
