  1. It would make sense why Chaeyoung wouldn't be able to film a birthday V-Live considering how prone to spoiling things they are. so if they had a V-Live the day of their MV filming it would be full of spoilers. We also can't rule out the possibility of it being an album jacket photoshoot. Looking at the colors that Momo and Mina are hiding, this album might have a Green and Peach aesthetic. Similar to KK's Yellow and Orange and TT's Violet and White(from their album jacket).
  2. Rumor has it that TWICE is actually planning on buying the penthouse as their new dorm after filming their CF. I stan ballers! ...but actually, I'm happy that they're working in such a nice place. I hope that they're also making good memories there as well
  3. Happy 5 year anniversary for Sana and Momo joining JYP They must have been through a lot since coming to Korea but they had each other. Through all their trials and sorrows, they made their debut as Twice and are now celebrating 5 years of friendship. Congrats to the lovable best friends!
  4. Thai fans are really passionate (as passionate as Thai anti-fans haha) All those banners were super sweet. I hope Thai Onces can enjoy the concert. Even though the girls might have a super tiring next few months (possible comeback, Kcon NY and Japanese debut) we should hope that they can still have fun and grow closer together through the tiring moments. From personal experience as an athlete, traveling a lot, being tired and having a few teammates injured brings us closer as friends. As much as we were tired and hurt we wanted to push through cause we were passionate about our sport(rugby). I feel like Twice is the same way. Even though as fans we would want them to be healthy and rest more, the girls are making their dreams come true. Success and rest don't usually go hand and hand. So even though they get tired this upcoming season, let's not get upset at JYPE or how Twice is being handled but instead support them more. Knowing Twice, they'll push through no matter how tired they are, so we should be thankful because Once is such a spoiled fandom ahaha Maybe, just maybe...with their first domestic and international concerts, possibly three comebacks this year (KK, May comeback?, Fall comeback?) and their Japanese debut. Twice might have a shot at Artist of the Year. I'm sure they're not even thinking about that award and it's definitely a long way coming ahaha. 2017 might be more amazing than 2016 for Twice but as Once we need to play our part too! Let's keep loving Twice!
  5. I just realized I knew Dara before I got into K-Pop! She was in this FIlipino movie called Super Noypi. I watched it when I was little because my sister's fave Filipino actor was in it! Little did I know I would become a fan of K-pop and 2NE1 years later ahaha
  6. Let's not lose hope guys. I know we're all worried about the condition of our faves. It shows how much they mean to us. I used to just listen to K-Pop music but I've never felt like the groups I've followed we're relatable(probably because of the age difference). Twice showed up when I was falling out of K-Pop and they pulled me back in. I started watching their Twice TV's and EPL and I found myself relating to these idols. They weren't trying to create the perfect image. They weren't greedy for fame or money. They weren't snobby perfectionists. They just wanted to perform together happily and be healthy. You can really see the bond that they had. They weren't competing for the spotlight. They were truly sharing it. To me Twice was just Twice. They completed each other. They're not under the perfect agency. There is no perfect agency. J.Y Park (the person) is a very caring mentor but the business side of the K-Pop industry isn't under his control. TBH the business aspect of K-Pop is the sharpest double-edged sword at the moment. Good business means more content. More Twice. It means more popularity. They work more so they get tired, hurt and obviously more attention. More attention sometimes creates bad press. That's what Twice has right now. Jihyo is hurt and JYP is giving her and the others time to rest(back in the day, time to rest wasn't a thing). We know she'll recover because she's Jihyo. She always pulls through. Mina must be having a very hard time right now. She has a hard time dealing with stress by herself. Let's not forget that she's not alone. She has 8 other members with her, supporting her through this difficult time. She has 16 shoulders to cry on. She has kind-hearted managers like Sadness-Unnie and Jaljari-Oppa taking care of her. She's going to get through this. She might not be the same after this. Maybe not for a while. Regardless, she'll still be there. She'll still be loved. Just take a deep breath and accept that this is a bump in their journey. All great groups go through bumps. This isn't going to be the last one either. Onces have been angry, rightfully so. We've all rallied to protect Mina. Even fans of other groups want to protect Mina. The amount of hate Twice is getting right now isn't any different than the amount of hate they got last year. They just have something to focus their hate on. Then again, for every one hater there's at least 10 Once standing up against it. Twice is still number #1 on ichart. Longer than any other release from February. Meaning people still listen to Twice and support them. Think about how they're at the dorm right now. Nayeon is in older sister mode right now taking Mina's phone away from her so she doesn't read all the crap online. Momo and Sana are always sitting by her and keeping her company. Tzuyu is attempting to make some of her gimpab to help brighten the mood. They're all there for each other. Onces are united and standing up for Mina. The CF deals are going to keep coming. The future comebacks are going to slay the charts, youtube and music shows. Everything is going to be ok. Don't lose hope.
  7. I'm loving Knock Knock! It's such a cute MV. Let's keep streaming and supporting Twice. There's a lot of fandoms trying to compete* with Twice's youtube views and it's comeback time for us so there's going to be some haters trying to stop us but let's not lose hope! We stream not because we want to beat the haters but because we love Twice. All the negative comments you read are from 'international k-pop fans'. The Korean public loves Twice more than any other group rn. Let's keep supporting Twice and Knock Knock and don't forget to encourage one another during this comeback. *thinking that K-Pop is a fierce competition brings out the ugly-side of some fans. Don't forget to keep K-Pop a positive place and just let yourself enjoy the magic of Twice
  8. I'm loving Spring Day and the new songs. I'm new to being an ARMY (became a fan during Fire/Save Me) and I've been loving BTS and I'm glad they're getting recognition after all their hard work. With Twice(my other favorite group) coming out next week I've been so excited this past month. The new kings and queens are rising.
  9. Currently Twice is prioritizing their concerts. Also considering Knock Knock is part of a continuation album it doesn't require the same media play as TT. Twice isn't the only group that's promoting this way. BTS is focusing on their world tour and their next album is a continuation of Wings. they've released their mv teaser only 3 days before their comeback. We should be patient with this comeback. Even if it's not as popular as Cheer Up or TT it will still do great because it's Twice. Twice is the least likely group to get ignored in Korea haha
  10. Tzuyu is beautiful as always. Also, the filter that makes your face slimmer is being applied. Obviously the filter is being used for the guy taking the selfie and not for Tzuyu because she doesn't need that.
  11. Just a reminder to my fellow Onces that Minatozaki Sana was sent from heaven to 'Shy Shy Shy' the sadness in your heart and cure you from any thoughts that trouble you in your day to day life. Listen to Cheer Up on your commute to work/school and I promise you that your day will be brighter. (how does a being so pure exist in such a cruel and violent world)
  12. My honest thoughts on Rookie is that it's a song that people are either going to love or hate. Think I Got A Boy by SNSD. That song was either loved or hated because it was all over the place but it was still a successful song and a legendary album. I feel the same way about Rookie, I really love the album though and Body Talk is my favorite song after my first full listen! On another note, there's a lot of trolls in OH. I'm a fan of other gg as well and some post are very shameful to our fandom. I'm not going to mention any names but I'd still like to apologize on their behalf. Anyways, let's keep loving Red Velvet. BBAAMMM!
  13. I hate reading comments about Yang Hyun Suk and JY Park 'disbanding' 2NE1 and WG. Those two men are the executive producers and don't have final say in contract negotiations. First off, despite the controversies behind 2NE1's disbandment, the groups future wasn't looking so bright since Minzy left and CL wanting to focus on her US debut. IT would make sense for the company to call it quits with 2NE1 instead of renewing Bom's contract. It sucks but it makes logical sense. It has nothing to do with Blackpink 'replacing' them. It was a poorly handled disband, but it was going to happen either way. I'm sad but it's the music industry. They lasted long and had fruitful careers and I'm sure Yang Hyun Suk is also saddened by these events. He has little control over it and I just wished their PR was handled better. Secondly, Wonder Girls disbanding is no huge surprise. This disband is actually being handled a lot better than I thought. It's not that controversial. They lasted 10 years in such a difficult industry and as a fan of the Wonder Girls since the Nobody era, how can I ask for more. Yeeun and Sunmi have matured into talented composers and writers. They;re off to greater things and JYP is going to help find them a company that is more suited towards their goals. Also, note that 'Why So Lonely' was made in JY Park sub-label Studio-J. He wanted to give the girls an outlet because JYPE's marketing team had no plans for Wonder Girls. That's not JYP's or WG's fault, thats just the way buisness works. Regardless, they wrote 'Why So Lonely' and it was a hit. I'm glad that they;re giving them a proper send off and I know JY Park is rooting for Yeeun and Sunmi's futures. Leave them alone, they helped shape the industry you became a fan of, They don't 'own' YG and JYP. Let them live and continue making the music industry a better place for your idols.
  14. That's cute. I know Bambam loves a lot of Twice members like his sisters. It must be a surreal feeling knowing they've all made it after all their hard work as trainees. More GotTwice moments please <3
  15. I honestly haven't payed too much attention to CLC until this recent comeback with Hobgoblin. I understand that they're talented and you can see the hard work in their past songs but Hobgoblin stands out because not many girl groups pull off this concept. The Hyuna influence is strong and it suits them so well. I'm very impressed!
  16. I love how loud K-Onces are! Now imagine an entire stadium filled with them, wow. No wonder Twice spoils their fans, they're always so loud and supportive. Twiceland is going to be crazy! BAAAAM!
  17. A reminder that Twice has one of the best managers in the industry. BAAAAAM! inspirational
  18. I'm so excited for Jun.K's new MV because it features my favorite 2PM member Nickhun with our beautiful Nayeon. I always said that JYP brought a lot of beauty in the K-Pop world! BAAAAAM!
  19. I find it really interesting that people try to argue what quality K-Pop music is. In terms of music it's perfectly fine to have different taste and I would definitely respect someones 'tasteful' opinion. In contrast, if you try to argue that Twice - Cheer Up, Red Velvet - Russian Roulette or I.O.I - Very Very Very isn't quality K-Pop...I don't know what to say to you. By definition pop music is; 'commercial popular music, in particular accessible, tuneful music of a kind popular since the 1950s and sometimes contrasted with rock, soul, or other forms of popular music.' Producers of pop songs try to create music that's commercially viable and try to reach a large audience. If it's well received by the general population then it's by definition a quality pop song. Because it's 'pop'ular. Not to say that there a groups out there less popular than Twice, Red Velvet or I.O.I aren't quality music. I'm sure there are tons of pop music critics that can dissect pop music more professionally than the people here at OH. I just find it stupid that people would bash K-Pop stars for doing their job which is being popular.
  20. YO! THAT'S DOWNRIGHT BONKERS! This is why SNSD is THE girl group. As much as I love the new up and coming girl groups (GFriend, Twice and Oh My Girl), none of them would be where they are without Girl's Generation's massive influence and these views prove part of that statement. SNSD deserves all the respect, whether you like their music or not. They're always relevant! BBBAAAAMMM!
  21. Recently I have been listening to Gee a lot while I jogged on my treadmill and I was hit by a strong sense of appreciation for Girl's Gen. I love the new generation of K-Pop girl groups and I'm looking forward to the future of K-Pop. None the less, I strongly believe that it's important to always remember the ones who paved the way. K-Pop has always been a game of trends but SNSD has transcended that. Their name states exactly what they started, a generation of K-Pop monsters. I'm excited to see what the future holds for SNSD and all of K-Pop. BAAAM!
