I'm glad none of the actors are getting blamed for how the ratings of this show are turning out (though they're still judging SoHee's acting). I only watched about ten episodes of the American original and stopped because I didn't like the main character, which is why I was hoping with this Korean remake, the writer would've focused more on rounding him out with goals and a struggle since the series is much shorter. I wasn't looking for a copy/paste remake. I wanted to see a different spin on the characters, with a strong influence of the culture and community it's being written for, which is what I was hoping for with this one. I still plan to watch the rest of the episodes, but only for the side characters. Really hoping for Gwang Soo's character to land a new role XD

I just realized that if they didn't want to give Young Bin a drug problem to struggle with, they could've given him alcoholism since it wouldn't shock the public's senses as much. Right now the character really doesn't have any struggles, so I can't really cheer for him for anything. He can seem to get any girl he want, roles just fall into his hands, and he's already rich, or at least lives in a really nice house Who wants to keep watching a drama with a main character that doesn't seem to have any goals or tension points?

Harsh, but these had me rolling

It was the first episode I liked, but sadly it had nothing to do with Young Bin (his character isn't very likable, he doesn't strive hard enough to be an actor for me to really like his and his 'personality' isn't really developed that well either. So far we've seen him skip work, try to avoid meetings, and makeout with various ladies.) The male child actor was really good and pulled me in right away with his strong character, all of Eun Gab's scenes are good, and since he was in this episode a lot, it was even better. So Hee for me is like unbuttered toast. All she does is smile a bit, talk in a quiet tone, and talk about how she wants to focus on acting but dates one actor, then makes out with another like scandals won't affect her career. She's so far just a love interest without a well rounded personality playing off another character (young Bin) who also doesn't have a personality a lot of viewers can follow. His assistant seems more dimensional. Kwang Soo and his rivalry with the child actor actually almost broke my heart He's so good at coming off as desperate and pathetic while remaining likable and funny.

If they would've started the show with like a one minute flash of the main male characters as teenagers (and maybe even So Hee too since they're said to have known her for years) introducing what their dream was, I bet the ratings would at least still be at least around 2 or even higher. (I for one know I'd be much more invested.) Like they wouldn't even need full stories, maybe just looking determined in front of a movie poster and like bumping fists and stuff then we spin out from there to the guys in the limo getting ready to walk the red carpet. More people would be able to get behind the characters, watching each episode to see how they're working toward that dream and feeling with them with each success or failure. Tiny things like that really hook people. (I really did try to find an actual Entourage thread to talk about these things in : ] ) Do any of you think Amber would be offered or would accept any more acting roles after this? If she doesn't, I hope she at least gets more commercials.

A bump up to at least 5 minutes would be nice It's the most I hope for since she's an assistant. I'll never understand how the writers turned the original Entourage script so boring with the rewrite. It feels like they tried to straddle a line between what happened in the American one and softening it a bit for Korean sensibilities. The ratings probably would've been better if Young Bin weren't such a womanizer (since mostly women watch dramas), if Young Bin had some sort of back story to explain his behavior (since fans like a reason to get behind someone's behavior or even to root for them, we have none of that), and if it seemed like Young Bin even wanted to really be an actor. So far I haven't seen him fight for a role or practice his acting or anything. Plus they usually have four of the five male leads grouped in 1 of 3 locations, the house, Eun Gab's company, or their van, and they often aren't haven't conversations to advance the plot. You would think condensing so many seasons into sixteen episodes would give us action and dialogue that seemed rushed, but instead the opposite happened. At least people (the few still watching) seem to love Eun Gab and Joy Jung.

Hello : ) I'm new here, but I must admit I had a few days of off-time and read pretty much 2/3rds of the past pages . My bias is Amber and I've pretty much kept up with f(x) since their debut.

Are people still watching Entourage? I watched episode 1 and 2 but had to just watch Amber's cuts of the rest cause I feel like episode 6 was one of the better episodes and it'll keep getting better from there (hopefully). Amber's scenes are still 1.5 - 3.5 minutes total, but I'm glad Need to Feel Needed gets used every other episode. I'm still hoping for a bit more screen time though. There's only ten more episodes left Y_Y
