my ex best friend turned into a MASSIVE koreaboo and it's all my fault. I was the one pushing her to like kpop in the first place but now she's unironically commenting "any ARMYs here? XD" on everything and it makes me want to slap her so bad. I'm really quiet and private in real life and she broadcasts to everyone in the area whatever she listens to even if she can't pronounce Korean words if her life depended on it. As in, if she's listening to kpop, she will try to scream the lyrics and dance, and I have to leave the room every time, it's so embarrassing for me. She calls everyone, not just older guys "oppa", and she injects horribly mispronounced Korean words into everything. example
this morning we had to give presentations on ourselves and what we like to kick off the new semester, and I saw hers beforehand so I knew it was a massive cringefest, but she honestly crossed the line.

so she starts presenting and babbling about how she loves kpop and south korea while I try to pretend I don't exist when she says "and I'm learning korean with the help of *me*" and points and I seriously almost cried... I told her beforehand she better not mention my name anywhere but she can't even do that.
I ended up eating lunch alone today and avoiding her after school because I was so mad and embarrassed.
TLDR; Koreaboo friend drags me into her messy ass kpop-filled presentation in front of a whole class and I wanted to cry because I hate letting people know I''m interested in kpop.
