  1. Here’s to hoping GP will choose Minju as she’s the only one left from visual trinity TT. *fingers crossed* Not saying she’s only good for her visuals but I’m saying I hope they see her potential + visuals - and I think I’ll sleep in on friday and see the final line up mid afternoon xD my heart wont take it if she wont make it :/

  2. Just here to put my two cents on who I want to debut (not in order):

    1) Sakura / Kaeun are lock ins imo easily.

    3) Eunbi

    4) Chaeyeon

    5) Yujin

    6) Miu

    7) Minju <- My personal favorite

    8) Miho

    9) Chowon

    10) Miyu

    11) ANY

    12) ANY

Is it obvious that most of my picks revolved around good relationships with Minju? XD.

  3. I'm effing cackling - MNET doesn't want this new top 12 (based on mid week rankings) and they are giving an extra week for voters to get it "right" with their "subtle" manipulations based on screentimes and storylines.

I LOVE MINJU and I want her to debut but she had like all the screentime in the 1000% team since Mnet is trying to give her a redemption arc I feel bad for the other girls cause I barely remember them now.

  4. Power Up is terrible the Ba - na - na intro honestly reminded me of OMG's BANHANA subunit and that's not a good thing. The other parts of the song sound so basic and the chorus does not match with the verses and understandably maybe they were going for that but wtf. It's not worth being a main title track - Red Velvet always had better B sides for their albums and I guess the trend continues.

Exo needs to comeback as OT9, CBX is keeping me alive and Kyungsoo's new drama is coming and getting me excited but I miss Lay. I don't want to think negatively but a part of me feels like Lay is not coming back simply because he's extremely popular in China + he's getting like 10x more money there than promoting with the group. Despite him loving the members, realistically he'd naturally prioritize his Chinese activities which is why he's working on his album now. Please tell me I'm wrong. Let me be wrong.

  5. Making LOONA subunits before debuting was a baddddd idea - it basically created an offset of popularity among the different girls. I personally haven't really delved deep into the fandom (nor want to) but the only subunit I care about is Odd Eye Circle (bc Kim Lip) and they have some of the more popular girls. And the solo songs while inventive in its approach was unbalanced in quality and it shows.

  6. 2nd gen >>>>>>>>>>>>> Wall of China >>>>> 3rd gen groups in terms of stage presence. I'm more into ggs than bgs atm and I've been watching vids of Twice, Red Velvet, and BP and they are not doing it for me.

Last year when BP was performing PWF in a music award show they looked dead af - no passion and it could be attributed to the fact that they performed just like 2 songs for a whole year but they looked exhausted of their own song and I was like umm.

It was quite obvious that when Red Velvet released Bad Boy, they did not practice the choreo as much due to limited time. The live stages looked VERY disjointed and they weren't even in sync :/

As for TWICE (A GROUP THAT I LOVE IMMENSELY) - they are stuck in this bubble of popularity meaning that they can only release public friendly songs and as a result their choreo is quite easy in comparison to other groups. Their stages are to be honest mediocre at best and I much prefer when they do covers and special stages. The girls are getting comfortable with the easy-ish choreo that they have that they are not improving their abilities.

2ne1's and Girls' Generation's stage presences were much superior due to different reasons - 2ne1 felt like they enjoyed the stage, they were loose and engaging and looked like they were having fun while GG operated like a well oiled machine, totally in sync and being perfect gave them this powerful aura.

  7. Oh man, there was someone who sounded so off in that minari performance. That's too bad bc alone Soomin killed it.

I agree, someone was definitely off. One of them was nervous and it showed.

In KWINs case, the song was just too fast that Hyerim missed a beat in one part and Kriesha was nervous so she didn't look like she enjoyed the performance enough - idk if it was just me there was a moment where I thought she had to look at Sohee to find her cue or something? But it was still good but not as good as Swing Baby last week.
