Position evaluation is basically an individual mission even though they're still competing in teams. The trainees with the highest number of on site votes in each of the 3 positions vocals, rap and dance gets the benefit. So only 3 person can secure the extra votes. In this part of the competition, it's more advantageous to pick a smaller team to avoid the votes getting split

How would the group fail tho? There is literally no way for the final 11 to flop because to make the cut in the first place they need a remedies tremendous amount of fandom support. Even if their songs are terrible, you just know their fans are still gonna support them

You can see them trying it with Daehwi at first then switching to Daniel this week. I do find it quite amazing that in midst of all this JL vs Avengers and any popular member getting dragged just for being popular drama, Jihoon manage to still be fairly well liked. I guess in his case, lack of screentime is an advantage

I think the trainees are expected to choreograph the dance themselves. Last year, all of them changed up the choreo. Even for songs with a premade choreo like Growl. So yeah, I won't expect to see any dance being 100% followed in the position evaluation

But JR's not very memorable in episode 3. Like everyone was focusing on Daehwi and Avengers at that time. And the hype for JL haven't quite started yet, it was there but only after the fancams were released and Daniel caught attention did everyone start hyping them up

But Youngbin's only got like 18 individual votes so that ties him with Younjin and puts him just below Jung Jung with 19. But with Jung Jung at 55, and taking online votes into accounts might explain why he's not here

Which Chinese trainee are you talking about? If it's Justin and Jung Jung, I believe they're using their current name because their Chinese ones are hard to pronounce. For Kim Yongguk, his name's literally a transliteration of his Chinese name Jin Longguo. And Lai Guanlin is using his real name. So his surname's Lai. But Kwon Hyub's surname is Kwon lol. Some Korean have a one syllable name instead of the usual two like Park Bom. Same for Kwon Hyub
