My honest stance on the recent scandal is that I'm incredibly disappointed in TOP and unlike most of you, I doubt I would be able to support him the same in future. I don't care about the weed. However the fact that TOP didn't mind jeopardizing the careers of his own members and BIGBANG's legacy really left a bitter taste in my mouth. I tried to think of an excuse for him but came up with none, he smoked weed, something he KNEW was illegal, with a STRANGER, not just once but SEVERAL TIMES when he knew very well of the consequences, and it all happened just months prior to his enlistment. That's like the most stupid, irresponsible and selfish action a hyung of a 10-year old group could make yet. The only explanation here is that he didn't care, or maybe he never cared. He claimed he loved his dongsaengs so much but I doubt their faces ever crossed his mind when he was getting high. I doubt he regretted his action either, he's only sorry that he got caught. The worst part here is that other members, who didn't do shit, have to face all the consequences of TOP's selfish crime, while he's all covered up in the army. I don't think he would have a solo career in Korean entertainment industry anymore after this, and it's justified so. He's already rich so can't say I feel sorry for him. He could simply continue his art business which seems to be his real passion anyway.

I'm 99% sure GD and YB will release this year if they plan to go to army in time, which is early 2018. YG already started his usual mediaplay for GD so GD will come first, then YB will probably settle for the end of the year.

I think B*S was inspired by lots of BB things, it is not plagiarism though and honestly not a big deal. They did mention they were BB fans, that's enough acknowledgement. I don't get why people expect them to credit every single thing they did similar to BB. What does BB even gain with it ? We all know that this issue is going nowhere so there's no point wasting energy to argue it seriously. B*S fans shouldn't even be mad, this gives them more publicity in SK anyway .

I came back to congratulate BB for their Gaon win but got hit with these fan wars instead. Just why? Are kpvip bored because BB is in hiatus again ? That GD solo really cannot come soon enough.

If that's the number of copies they made available then there's nothing fans can do really. We have to wait until Jan 5 for the total numbers.

It's still weeks away until January 5th though I want to celebrate now . I'm still not sure how Hanteo got confused like that? Did they just take orders without checking with the company first?

Well they did mention these albums are hand-made or something so 20k makes more sense I though the China sale was already 93k though?

I read in the other thread that YG already ran out of copies last week so these are all pre-orders, obviously front-loaded. Still they broke their own records and totally obliterated my expectation, that's enough to celebrate. It's best to not drag other groups into this though, physical records are controlled by fandoms so even if they broke record now , it can be surpassed soon.

Do they have a shot in winning AOTY next year or this is counted as 2016 sales therefore not eligible? I know that they are above awards now but it could be their first time (?) winning AOTY, I want it to happen

I don't they they are eligible, Good Boy was released in Dec 2014 and it was really successful but did not get any award. Next year there will be solos from GD & YB so I imagine both the company and the award shows will be pushing those instead as they will be more relevant then.

Interesting. I wonder how they will release those songs, there's no time for another comeback after all. Maybe they will be reworked into solo / sub-unit songs? Inkigayo performance video is already at 2 million after one day They should replace the official video with this for real.

The live performance of FXXKIT >>>> the MV by far. When when I was done with the Inkigayo video, I immediately replayed several times while until now I only watched the MV like twice. Same feeling with BBB last year. Unpopular opinion : I don't really like Last Dance. I know the lyrics are meaningful but it sounds like typical Korean OST ballad to me. I'd rather have Girlfriend video, at least the MV would be entertaining and the stage would be fun to watch.

I don't want to come of as defending YG here but he didn't actually do anything so evil that BB members need to distance themselves from him. And they sure as hell do not suck up to him, it's obvious GD is fond of the old man. Even TOP someone who's always straightforward with his actions gave YG a kiss recently, he would never do that to someone he dislikes.

Oh it was an IG story? Thought she posted a video. BB fans are mostly chill and the ones who have been following them for a long time do not really care about the members' relationships, but some new c-fans can be annoying. YJL already privated her IG so at least they cannot bother her now.

The flower thing, I don't feel like it fits into any of their MV sets? at least from what we've seen so far. I also don't think flowery soft concept matches them. Hope it's not related and Ji and YB just happened to be extremely fond of daisy recently. I went to Asia's IG and the video is not there anymore. Did some crazies bully her into deleting it already?

Nothing bad about BigBang, one of the comments even said YG is nothing without BigBang.
