An update: well I’m on episode 3 and I don’t feel like finishing it LMAO it’s not bad but I don’t know.

I just finished episode 2, and I am pleasantly surprised. Of course, it's nowhere near perfect, but it has some nice moments, new things that aren't in the manga that are incorporated well, and so far, the cast is decent! While it's not without flaws and is by no means perfect, it manages to deliver some enjoyable moments.

I didn't imagine SM becoming this irrelevant so quickly. One thing I've always liked about them is how they managed to keep all their groups distinct from each other... until they debuted NCT; things went downhill. In recent years, their boy groups started to sound the same, with very similar songs in terms of style, vibes, melody, music videos, choreography, and song structure (except for Suju). Even SHINee (yeah, they released bops) came out with songs very similar to NCT. Now, this new group, RIIIZE, was obviously planned as another NCT UNIT, and it shows. I wished that by making them a different group, they would give them something unique, but nothing. I have zero hype for their debut. Why would they start performing on music shows with pre-releases? I thought that Siren performance was just to showcase their dance skills (this is what their fans claimed when everybody else said how they looked so NCT). Why kill the hype for their debut? Where is the buzz? Scandals left and right, and no one cares because no one got excited for this group after not getting something unique and different.

I like it. That bridge is awesome and thank God SM took notes and understood the necessity not to insert an aggressive rap part

how are they different from NCT? they look like an NCT unit what I like about SM is that they establish a separate identity for each of their groups but this is disappointing so far

everything sounds so nice. All the girls sung in their range and they sound great (finally no more shouting) and finally JYP is making use of Yuna's rapping skills HOWEVER this is not a song. It sounds like a mash up of at least 5 songs., or 5 nice parts that don't sound good together. The song doesn't end and has weak reply value as a whole. That chorus is so anticlimactic . it sounds good in itself but not within the song as a whole.

does Treasure have a problem with a proper CHROUS?
