  1. Album sales aren't only from fandom but fron stores..random liseners too~

It's more of a FACT than an OPINION, let alone unpopular opinion. It's just something that many like to overlook when pissing down on 'idols' they dislike.

    Unpopular opinion on this forum:

    I really like "Bad Boy"

I love the beat and the synth-work. The way they worked the instrumental was very smart. My favourite part was from 3:03 - 3:19, which was TaeYang's part. Add the few seconds that followed, and it sums up the dynamic of the duo. TaeYang can sing, yet he is showing little in less than 20secs and then thrown back into autotune, whereas throughout the entire song GD was not autotuned 'properly'.

Unpopular opinion [maybe even outside of this forum]:

I think TaeYang is being held back in this duo

I get that he's close friends with GD, but when it comes to doing the job there has to be some balance and justice in there; 'Bad Boy' seems to heavily work in one person's favour for too long, and then you hear TaeYang and then wonder WHY end something so good too quickly.

  2. He brought a new life to an old classic
... and he makes it seem like he isn't even trying

I've always been fond of his honest working ethic. He's always been committed to what he does, and given time I think his perfectionism will become increasingly apparent. It's beautiful that he is always striving and is humbly growing more and more in confidence. He literally makes every opportunity he has matter, even in singing, every second is valuable to him.
At times, I cannot help but think he is too good to be in an 'idol' industry where there is consistently greater emphasis on everything that is not talent, and then talent.

  3. He came for a few weeks and then left, and he was literally the most intelligent individual I had ever come across. It was so rare coming across a person whose company is a fine balance between crazy humour and having deep mind-invigorating discussions.... and then he was gone...

    It's disheartening
