  1. Yuna I could see it but I always thought Jennie had a tiny waist until recently especially the concerts where her waist looks even more curved in now while she still has kept on a healthier weight compared to before when they would obviously diet to keep their entire frames small. If coolsculpting can make such a difference and create such nice curves why don’t all idols try for it instead of starving themselves? The beauty standard isn’t even to be thin anymore, it’s more so to have a small waist. People like Joy and Yeri and Jisoo who have been criticized by knetz for having “fridge” body types seem like the best people to go for it rather than someone like Jennie or Yuna who were already so tiny and had small waists. I didn’t even know the results could look so dramatic, Jennie honestly looks really good. Is it riskier than having a nose job or jaw shave? Cause those things same way more popular to kpop idols than body modifications. Maybe that will be the next big trend which will be quite shocking if they try to do it to underage idols, who are already told to diet extremely to stay skinny.
  2. Fans apparently noticed that around before debut time she got implants done, along with nose surgery and eyelids. There’s pictures of her scars, and she looks so big now compared to before. I also thought she was using really big padding but I always wondered how do idols that pad, dance with all the padding, does it ever move? I think that’s how I noticed how unnatural it looks, they don’t follow natural physics I guess lol. No matter how tight clothing I wear, when I dance, they move. They also look really abnormal on her petite frame and the way they just defy gravity. But then I realized she looks so big even in day to day activities not just promotions, and that would be exhausting to pad yourself everyday to look that same amount. Someone posted a whole video about it yesterday and I was pretty shocked, I didn’t know female kpop idols would do it so young tbh
  3. On the topic of Jungkook I think people are overreacting because he had a huge pimple on his nose that day. Whatever filter the award show used plus makeup blended it in making it look like the implant sticking out. He also had a huge pimple on his forehead. it definitely is causing a huge discourse all over twitter and tiktok within the fandom though. i'm still so weirded out by people openly talking about implants and plastic surgery and "virtually every idol gets something done". before 4th gen kpop it was just us talking on here, now you can search jung- on twitter and the top 3 results are all related to his nose implant. I swear when Heeseung did his nose it changed everything because no one could deny it. but the surgeries I'm seeing in 4th gen especially peoples lips multiplying in size and clear middle/high school pics you cant deny the nose jobs and eye surgeries, and everyday on Pann I see knets and inetz discussing facial changes, yesterday I saw everyone talking about Lesserafim Yunjin's facial changes and people being in awe of how she restructured her facial shape, and someone here had noticed it like months ago
  4. Did winter do something to her face? At debut she looked so much Taeyeon and now she doesn’t look like her. I thought she looked so pretty and fairylike at debut. Her weight is the same now but her face looks so sharp and vline where at debut she had a more oblong/rounder jaw and chin area. Idk since like last year around Savage I’ve been trying to figure out why she looks so different, I think she looked amazing at debut and was considered visual at that time, but now it’s suddenly flipped to Karina
  5. I don’t get why Nayeon had to touch her nose again because it’s starting to look off again at certain angles. Especially mixed in with the lip and cheek fillers it’s making her look uncanny, when her whole image was natural cuteness. Now she just looks fake and has lost her charm. I wouldn’t even have known this was Nayeon, it looks more like Somin from Kard or a mix of Sunmi and Taeyeon
  6. Why does Sakuras face look so much older now? She looks like she’s Irene’s age. All these new procedures are aging her and she looks nothing like the teaser photos. I was actually shocked seeing the press pics on how different she looks. Her face is so oblong and big now against her tiny body, her face shape looks like Miyeons. I never really knew why she was famous, people say she’s known for her visuals because she’s not a standout singer or dancer. Are her visuals what SK likes..? Like after watching the debut this week I don’t get why she’s so viral. Everyone’s calling her the visual in this group too but maybe I can’t see it. I feel like everyone forgot what she looked like in the concept photos. She looked like a completely different person like who is this?? fansite edits are so bad because they all edit the idol to look a certain way, so when you see non photoshopped pics it’s jarring. I legit always thought Sakura looked something like this, which now we can see is obvs photoshopped by comparing to the press photos: vs the press photos:
  7. They all photoshop themselves so much on that account. I could not tell you who this is without looking at the caption. Legit thought this was Bahyiiyh. Posted 7 days ago on their Instagram
  8. I find it funny when kpop stans use predebut photos of idols to claim they were always skinny and that’s just their metabolism and we are skinny shaming them etc, they always say that about Rose as well. Do people not realize that comparing someone’s 12-15 year old body to their 20s something year old body is a COMPLETELY different thing? Like you’re comparing a teenager to a woman capable of giving birth with child bearing hips and a bunch of other things that grow/fill out in your 20s. It’s just normal for women and it’s so weird seeing kidols in their 30s and above trying to look as frail as teenage girls. I don’t know anyone in real life who’s body looks like exactly the same from when they were kids/teenagers. Normal people gain weight so it’s weird seeing these people even skinnier than their teenage selves and claim to not be dieting and “eating deliciously” I definitely noticed how awkward everyone looked at that maknae stage like Wonyoung was the real celebrity there and knetz constantly talked about her frail and delicate proportions while the others were just there like...at least Shuhua doesn’t seem to care and most of her body was hidden anyway with that dress. I probably would feel ugly next to Wonyoung anyway and that’s how they want us to feel. Young impressionable idols probably feel the same way. Like someone above mentioned, your loved until someone becomes skinnier than you, then knetz move on to someone else they fawned over. And then the people who were known for being skinny feel the lack of attention and feel the need to lose more weight to gain the attention back. so it’s a constant cycle and every few months I feel like I get more shocked on someone showing up even skinnier than someone else: I remember I thought the same for Rose and Lisa and then Wendy, Lia, Jisoo, all went through really scary eras of being severely underweight. Recently Wonyoung and Somi have been the talks and I bet you people want to be like them, hence Yuna all of a sudden dropping so much weight and posting body pics that emphasize it, like Somi did a few months ago.
  9. Wow I am genuinely shocked... I don’t think I’ve ever seen that much of a rib cage in a person that’s alive... you don’t even see that much when Lisa was at her thinnest, and even then seeing Lisa’s ribs weren’t as disturbing cause she had some muscles. In Yuna you can see every rib and the entire ribcage just..jutting out, and she seems proud of showing it off even more. I don’t know how anyone can think showing off bones is a good look. I get being skinny as their beauty standard but bones? That goes completely against looking youthful and filling up the face with fillers to get mandu cheeks. It’s like they want the face to look like a baby but the body to look like a malnourished child’s. The screenshots are taken when at angles where they protrude most and ED twt probably upped the contrast to make it seem worse, but it’s still really bad. watch the video and you can see. Decided to read some YouTube comments and now my brain is fried. Already seen many variations of “she eats a lot and loves food and doesn’t diet anymore she just dances a lot”. It’s funny because just 4 days ago knetz were praising her body in that photoshop because of her “unreal” waist now they are suddenly concerned when they see what that waist actually looks like while dancing. People are saying Ryujin and Yeji have lost a lot of weight too..it’s really sad because Ryujin was like the thicc icon but seems like they’re all succumbing to the unreal beauty standards. They were known for being so powerful while dancing but you can’t have that power if you’re starving yourself of nutrients. i doubt they could even do daily promotions of a hard hitting comeback like Wannabe without something happening. I mean we had people fainting in 2nd/3rd gen kpop and the people weren’t as underweight as they are now with hard hitting choreos. With all of these groups announcing comebacks I’m scared something bad will happen, I just don’t see how they can promote daily while having bodies like that. I guess it helps most groups only do 1/2 weeks of promo now and the rest is done through Tiktok. Allows them to not have to gain weight for comebacks and push the standard even harder, influencing other female idols to be skinny
  10. Wonyoung has been looking pretty scary for awhile, the recent performance has knetz talking again because her legs and arms aren’t hidden. They’ve been trying to hide how skinny she’s gotten with outfits that cover her arms and legs so it’s shocking. trigger warning: Anyway I think people should be talking about this because they need to know it’s not normal and people do not encourage it. When people pretend like we are body shaming these idols, it’s cringe. She has so much pressure on being the visual and IT girl it’s clearly affecting her, and the same goes for other visuals in other groups.
  11. Someone already posted Yuna’s waist picture, but I’m pretty sure Yuna photoshopped it. She already has a small waist but it looks like body dysmorphia if she’s editing it to look even smaller. Cause she had a photo shoot that day with the other girls and her waist was looking normal sized. Like bigger than her head. But in her selfies it looks smaller than her head and really unnaturally curving in, where super skinny girls like Lisa and Rosé do not have those unnatural curves. it’s just not realistic and I can almost see where she shrunk in the curves.
  12. She’s a minor which is the main reason I see people on twitter shooting down any mention of it as “body shaming”. I think that’s why people on here aren’t posting photos either idk. Her arms are so so scary and very indicative of something going on. Her wrists seem like they can crack it you just touch them and they’ve been that way since Eleven. But now her legs are even worse than Eleven and her thigh gap is so big that when she was on music bank I think two weeks ago and they gave her tight shorts (they usually hide her gap with skirts and high waisted jeans) people freaked out. Even one of my friends was asking why her legs are facing inwards (I forgot what the condition is called but it looks like she’s getting it?) it’s really not a good look. I’m underweight and same height as her and get called too skinny all the time but my arms and legs look nothing like that. I can’t even imagine what her BMI is. And yeah, people severely underweight don’t get periods and I’m not sure why people think it’s cute because it literally can affect your ability to have kids in the future..like these idols don’t care about their lives 10-20 years from now? Especially with everything they’re injecting in their faces as minors only thing is I’m confused why she would diet that hard if her waist is apple shaped or whatever. Didnt people on here say you can do some sculpting procedure to make your waist smaller? Like what Yuna was rumored to do? They have all the money to target areas like that then what’s the point for all these idols to diet if they just want smaller waists
  13. Her new videos and pictures are way different than what she used to look like which is confusing. From the clown reactions I got on my post I guess people think otherwise lmao. She had much thinner lips at debut and definitely has some kind of lip lift or fillers going on. It’s not the area of the lips, but how plump and protruding they are now.
  14. They both are looking so uncanny valley these days. Ryujin’s face looks so tight now, like she can’t smile, and those lips fillers.. Yuna takes selfies to make her head look smaller but it’s also hiding how exposed her nostrils are now. But you can really se the difference in the tip and bridge compared to older selfies.
  15. She filters and edits her pictures so much. I saw people on Reddit freaking out over how small her chest is and wondering why it looked so big in the past. She wasn’t wearing a bra under and tbh I’ve never seen a female idol brave enough to do that. There’s videos of her dancing and the top comes up and her underboobs are hanging out, I wonder what knetz think it’s crazy to see how in the pictures taken with western celebs, she’s short and kind of stubby, doesn’t have an ultra thin waist, and not as good proportions as everyone praises her to have. Yet in her ig posts and Korean media she’s super tall, has amazing curvy proportions (hip pads and bra padding) and super tiny waist. People on Reddit also were asking why she looks so different in western photos and it was funny seeing fans try to bend over backwards saying the angles weren’t favoring her and stuff. I also find it freaky how idols edit their legs to look super long, like 70% of their body. It looks alien like. They obviously stretch out the bottom half of the photo vertically. Some of them are tall but not THAT tall. To the point their shoes become bigger than their heads. Somi and Rose do this alot and Jennie as well so when you see her in Getty images it’s jarring anyway this is more about filtering and editing. I’ve seen kidols in real life and their heights are probably the weirdest thing to me because they don’t look like the photos at all
  16. Bang Chan doesn’t even look like himself anymore. Stray Kids starts to look more and more uncanny as the years pass. They do relatively smaller tweaks so you dont notice but when you look at his predebut and older pictures it looks like a different person. His photo out of all their teasers could also be extremely photoshopped cause the other members look like their recent selves.
  17. Thai people in general can look East Asian or “Eurasian” to non-Asians I’ve noticed. Like there are lots of SEA people that look “Eurasian”. James looks like a normal Thai to me. In Thailand it’s very diverse, like other SEA and South Asian countries because of historical events. Like a lot of people in Thailand have ancestry from Persia, France, Russia, India, Portugal, Spain, China etc. and most people just consider themselves full Thai, in Asia people generally don’t look at DNA and stuff and conclude their ethnicity from that. That’s why a lot of Thai people can look mixed. It’s not exactly rare to come across people with these features, I think Americans are just so used to seeing East Asian looking Asian people. Also why Americans in general don’t know there are East Asian and European looking people in India, because they have one stereotype of what the race should look like, but I digress. I think that’s why people were recently confused when Ten said he was actually ethnically Chinese but Thai. In the west people want to categorize people as a certain ethnicity. While in Thailand, there are thousands of people who are ethnically Chinese in the Chinese communities but they all consider themselves ethnically Thai or Thai Chinese. Also Hybe has only had one survival show so far (I-Land). I’d say JYP is more into survivals because of Stray Kids, Loud, Nizi, Nizi2, Twice, the new one for the American group. Also Mnet with their infinite amount of survivals and fans eating up every single group from those until they disband and enter nugu territory. The Japan BG seems to be doing some audition program on YouTube probably because people forgot about them and they need to create buzz for the group somehow. also I cannot believe Sangwon got a nose job! I had just watched a video with him a few days ago and told my sister he looked really different but couldn’t tell what it was. Someone on here posted it and wow..it’s kinda like Sunghoon’s where head on he still has a cute nose but from the side..no. Sangwon literally could be the next Taehyung/Eunwoo and if they’re gonna ruin his visuals this early I have no hope for the others
  18. I've always been confused about Yuna's nose because I followed her since her predebut days and the most official content was her in BTS's highlight reels. I noticed she looked different from the highlight reel especially her nose. That person could be on to something because her nose in the video looks like her current nose, smaller tip with exposed nostrils, where as when she debuted she had a bigger tip that covered her nostrils more. Its hard to see but you can pause the video at certain parts and see what her nose used to look like. but keep in mind she was also 12/13 years old when this was filmed. Second video is just Yuna's cut from the video if you don't want to see the whole thing but its a bit blurry. There are parts where she briefly looks at the camera but I'm too lazy to screenshot and upload it. Ryujin was in this video as well and she looked so good back then ;-; Her nose, lips, and eyes were all unnecessarily changed. She looked so fresh and natural here, I'm assuming their were already touchups/filters at this point but still. sad that people who are known to be beautiful go and change features that didn't need to be changed.
  19. I swear it’s the opposite nose most idols go for, they mostly reduce the tip or make it upturned so we can see the nostrils more. Hers is the opposite, the tip is way bigger and it hangs down now over her nostrils. I can already think of many idols who have reduced that hanging portion of the nose. I’m not sure why they added that to her nose but since she is partly Caucasian it looks natural. Maybe it just is puberty and her nose grew in idk, because thats a big post op deformation. It also looks slightly crooked in your last pic, leaning to the right.
  20. That’s so weird I never even thought she had surgery on her nose given how not-kpop-polished-like it looks. Her nose looks really natural like a white persons nose. I actually was wondering why she never got surgery to make it smaller and less beak like since all the other members have perfect noses, but i guess she did. It looks like her surgery did the opposite and made it even bigger and hooked in the nostrils. I like her natural nose better it suited her face really well, now when I look the first thing I notice is her nose. Jisoo’s nose looks exactly the same. Her nostril on one side is smaller than the other and it recently started appearing that way. A lot of knetz were saying she got a nose job around 2 years ago but people shot it down saying one of her nostrils was always smaller so I’m not sure. When she poses and shows off her nostrils you can see the nostril is smaller on one side. I definitely notice it a lot more now, don’t know if she’s always had it
  21. I was kind of a Carat at the time and the outrage wasn’t there, I remember looking it up on twitter for a few months to see if people noticed and there were tweets but it was all speculation and within the fandom. The Heeseung thing is a completely different outrage where if you check on twitter some tweets have over 40k engagements now and thousands of quotes from other fandoms, I think he’s targeted because he was pushed as the it boy and a lot of people generally don’t like Hybe bgs these days, so they picked one person to center their hate on. He’s praised by fans for his talents but everyone else shreds up apart on twitter because of his visuals, there are a lot of nicknames for him I won’t go into. 4th Gen drama is really just weird lol. I do think there’s a huge different in PS predebut and post debut. Ya everyone on pann on social media was digging up aespas predebuts but a lot of people to this day insist Karina is a natural beauty as well as Winter.. they say her nose is just contour if she had changed her nose post debut it would probably be a big deal. But kpop has taught us that miracles can happen from predebut to post debut, hence why fans are always praising their visuals and puberty for making them glow up rather than admitting and realizing it’s surgery. Predebut controversy will always be there but it’s always just speculation based on the photos we have. Post debut is different because you have millions of pictures, videos, etc to compare and that’s why most people don’t go for huge changes post debut. They want to hide the fact that PS is even a thing. Like Yooa claiming ramen is what makes her lips big. That’s why it’s shocking Heeseung went for such a big change only 1 year into post debut. There’s 6 more years of more possible surgeries for him whereas other groups started changing things 3-4 years in post debut like BTS, Twice, Blackpink etc I totally agree with the girl next door vs cgi anime doll thing. And the fact this is becoming more normalized and some of these faces / features we would be absolutely appalled at maybe 15 years ago are standard now. It reminds of of Hunger Games or something LOL where absurd and unhumanlike visuals become the norm. I posted that video of Sullyoons head from Nmixx and I’m still shocked at her head size. I watched their weekly idol and her head is half the size of some of the other members and they keep pointing out her small head in the show. It’s weird because head /skull size is literally something u can’t change besides jaw shaving but maybe they’ll figure out a surgery for that too since Koreans are obsessed with small heads. and same, his visuals are fine now and I think he looks so much better than his unnatural looking nose. It would be a shame to make him change it again especially when they’re in that age of being conscious about body image and seeing all these comments about your face online. Someone here said that it was even brought up to him in a fansign recently can’t imagine what that feels like in an industry where everyone pretends PS isn’t a thing
  22. Yea I didn’t say 4th Gen stans have become more open minded at all, it just opened up the conversation. People are actually asking him to back to his implanted nose. I can’t think of situations like that besides a really really bad surgery, like that one girl who got a botched nose, or Park Bom. The whole Joshua thing was speculated on here for a long time but the fandom itself doesn’t acknowledge it, people still talk about how he’s a natural beauty. Like Yeonjun has gotten very visible surgeries recently yet no one is clowning him, people are praising him for his IT boy visuals from puberty. Itzy Yuna her nose has dramatically changed and I noticed it so clearly at an award show last year, yet no one talks about it besides on here, she’s regarded as a visual. also 3rd Gen definitely had surgeries that were not conservative, people were showing up with brand new faces post debut, especially SM artists and people till this day still say they’re natural and puberty and makeup changes. Maybe because they’re surgeries elevated them instead of downgrading them, which is unique to only the botched cases and Heeseung now. I still remember Wendy’s infamous jaw shave, absolutely changed her visuals yet on kpop social media sites everyone was just saying she looked different because of weight gain and I was confused for years until I found this thread. Also with NCT their faces are always changing yet I don’t think it’s elevating their visuals (especially the jutting out chins) yet people still say it’s puberty. I remember Jisung I think when he was rlly young like 14 showed up with a new nose and everyone on twitter shot it down due to makeup and lightning and it was never heard of again. I think 2nd and 3rd Gen In general followed the traditional route of surgery in Korea with the standard eye opening surgeries, nose job, jaw shave if needed, surgeries. That’s why a lot of people ended up looking the same and even I couldn’t tell people apart. Now in 4th Gen everyone has some unique part of their visuals that are definitely not natural so it looks obvious. And 3rd Gen idols are catching on and also doing those tweaks like lip fillers, pointier implants, jaw shaves (karinas unreal jaw is probably going to normalize this look). Speaking of Aespa, Giselle’s face has massively changed in the one year she’s been debuted and everyone also chalks them up to puberty lol. It’s weird because we have clear hd pictures of these kids from just a few years ago (her jaw changed not only predebut, but post debut as well. Her black mamba jaw is twice the size of her current jaw) while 2nd and 3rd Gen we are literally comparing with baby photos. I think this made Heeseung an easy target because he’s generally looked at as the lowest visual and visual status is rlly important to kpop fans regardless of generation. It didn’t elevate him to impressive visuals either so. He’s always been insecure of his visuals and worked rlly hard on his talent to make up for it, as stans generally overlook visuals if there’s talent (see BTS who was always known as ugly / visual holes besides 2 members). Also that ps doctor guy on tiktok has really spread the news and showing people before and after pics. Like Wonyoung is being criticized all over social media now for “wanting to look pretty” in every situation now that people agree SHES gotten stuff done and they’re also mad about that. Obvs there are a lot of ppl fighting over that too because she’s a top visual. we also are forgetting about Twice and Blackpink, both regarded as natural and born visuals yet now when I compare their predebut pics with their current looks, most look pretty different with easy to point out features that have changed. It’s just that they get these done slowly over the years and it helps that they weren’t botched. Heeseung has only been an idol for a year and already at 3 nose jobs. What will they do when it’s time to touch up his nose again 3-4 years from now?
  23. The quotes on this are so bad he’s been getting so much hate from virtually every fandom including his own. Yesterday they did a live and he stood in the back the whole time clearly depressed about it and covered up with a mask. I honestly feel bad he’s been trending everyday on twitter and he’s currently trending again. Also all over Tiktok there’s videos comparing his noses. I think it’s like the most clear case of a kpop idol visibly getting something done because for the first time I don’t see many deniers. Especially Enhypen stans themselves are telling everyone he did change his nose, it’s obvious, but stop sending him hate for it. And that’s why he’s also such an easy target for other fandoms, I’ve seen a lot of disgusting stuff written about his nose, people are also calling him a reject Bang Chan. This is literally all Bighits fault like how could they give him such a bad nose. As a long time kpop fan and Enhypen fan his surgery honestly stood out the most to me out of all idols. I watched him on Iland and stanned but noticed his nose kept looking weirder as time went on. Some videos me and my sister would be shocked at how crooked and droopy the implant was getting around Nov/Dec of last year. We kept saying he’s gonna have to get it fixed but we’ve never really seen such big fixes in kpop so I always wondered if they were just gonna let it slip. I’ve seen refinements but his nose was literally falling. Anything they did would be big news and Yupp it was. Im still shocked about how different a nose can make you look. The funny thing is he was always called “Bambi” by fans because of his “cute upturned high nose”. Some of the people sending him hate are fans themselves mad that his nose is not upturned and cute anymore. People legit are like how can we call him Bambi now I saw knetz were also talking badly about it but man how is he gonna recover from this. I’d be embarrassed for life. It’s a big life change and so many people are talking about his visuals which he was always insecure about in the first place. The sad thing is his new nose looks SO good. I actually love how natural and big it looks. the funniest part of all is if this is just temporary and Bighit ends up putting in another implant, especially because he seems so insecure about it himself. Granted, this whole situation has opened up the topic of PS to fans and now a lot of them are openly talking about the other members and accepting they’ve had surgeries too, and talking about other 4th Gen idols with surgeries. This would never happen in a 3rd Gen group fandom. I’m just remembering EXO days and daring to post about a members nose job. Wishful thinking but maybe they can fix whatever they did to Jakes nose now. But I’m guessing they don’t want to make huge changes post debut to keep the kpop facade alive. Because Taehyuns nose is still so botched and I always wondered when they would fix it. it’s not just heeseungs nose though. His whole face looks different, like a lot of people are saying it looks like two different guys. I’m not sure if it’s extreme weight loss in the older pics where his face was super gaunt and his teeth were bulging out. His cheekbones were so prominent as well. Now his whole face looks pretty swollen and full and you can’t see the cheekbones or jutting out teeth anymore. it also looks really red and still swollen so it’s definitely freshly done. It must’ve really been slipping and about to fall off or infected if they changed it during promotions, it hasn’t even been 2 weeks since it changed. I’m sorry this is so long but I’ve always always wondered about his nose. Also couldn’t figure out how to post pics without Twitter
  24. Here’s the full video, I actually just watched this yesterday and was curious if anyone would bring it up. I was already shocked how small her face was in watching the debut content, and thought she definitely got some kind of jaw shave. But then I saw this predebut video and ...look at her compared to all the other girls. Her head is abnormally small looking and her neck is really really long, longer than Karinas. Their are comments about it but most people raving about how tiny her head is. Is this like a normal look or what, I don’t want to sound mean. Her head itself is literally so small like it looks like half of it is missing and it’s so jarring. I’ve really never seen a head like hers.
  25. Hi I made an account on here like 6 years ago and I always wanted to post here but never got the chance. I noticed Rose's face changed alot over the years but couldn't pinpoint exactly what she did until users on here showed her getting a jaw shave. I was watching a video today and I can see a chin implant moving in her chin, it looks so weird idk how I never noticed it before! you can also see how her jaw is now egg shaped and lost that nice mandible she had at debut
