I'm a big fan of her so I've pretty much read all of her manga licensed in France and watched the animes adaptations (and is currently watching the airing one). Somehow I got used to her art its my aesthetic tbh but I can see why people wouldnt like it. Saraiya goyou is the only one who stayed faithful to her drawing. But changing it still worked out for the other two especially ACCA Since you finished RP, I recommend you SG too, it was pretty nice & relaxing imo

those are the types of show people just avoid because of the art

thanks for all the recs although most of it have pretty regular arts I've watched it. It was so well animated that I totally forgot how bad the drawing were already watched. It has one of the best background ever to be call ugly. But thanks anyway noted, it was recommended to me before but I forgot about it already watched

Please recommed me animes with unorthodox arts which threw off many people but you still found good? I'm fine with bad drawing or CG or rotoscope (but preferably no ecchi, moe, fanservice, action, horror and gore please, I cant stand those) The ones I've watched are: kuuchuu buranko the tatami galaxy ping pong the animation saraiya goyou

I'm still hoping for a POP vs COOL one but I dont think it will happen their stage will probably change only if they start doing dome live tour. And yeah a stage like exile's amazing world would be awesome

I liked both but spirited away better. In general I love japanese folktale oriented animes so it's more of a personal taste

the budget put into the realisation of this show is pretty low compared to their average animes (madhouse knew this wasnt for the mainstream) but I appreciate their effort. In fact I'm really grateful. Hope it will do well

YASSSSSSSS HELLO THERE~~~~~~~~~~~~ she's one of my fav mangaka ever. I would absolutely read anything made by her without a second thought no matter what the genre is. Her art is just beautiful (they kinda ruined it in ACCA but its okay since it looks cute) and her storytelling is just something else. Some of her works were scanlated by some individuals before but most of them shutted down *sigh* which is a shame cuz her mangas are really good I expect ACCA to be great (the aesthetic is a bonus) & I'm currently obsessed with Jean Otus And yeah Rakugo is a good show. I'm saving it for marathon cuz waiting for a new episode every week was painful (I learnt my lesson last year ). I'm glad it's gainning more audience than when season 1 aired

movies not yet suggested: letter to momo up from poppy hills piano forest whisper of the Heart summer wars (& most hosoda mamoru movies) series: background with vibrant colors: tsuritama (about fishing & aliens) uchouten kazoku (the character design is kinda off but the background is really beautiful) aria (I dont know how to describe it) amanchu (about scuba diving) naturist: mushishi (episodic fantasy) dont give focus on the background but it sets the mood: barakamon (journey in the countryside) natsume yuujinchou (everyday life in the countryside) silver spoon (agricultural & farming school life) flying witch ( a witch in the countryside)

my average is 7.5 so sometimes yes & sometimes no. But before the rating, I always prioritize GENRE first, then PLOT, after that TRAILER and at the end ART

my thought on rewind(poted in Happiness thread too): song: I liked it but it's not something I would listen all day, personally. Ruri's part were gold though MV: overall good and the girls were beautiful but there were some parts I didnt really dig (especially yurino's attempt to twerk)
