how is mingyu dating girls a malicious rumor? for god's sake, you don't have to believe it. and this is NOT a dupe? are you kidding me? what even are my intentions supposed to be? i've posted in this thread (and the lesbian thread) before and was able have peaceful discussions. a lot of the idols i suspect to be lgbt are brushed off as heterosexual and i've never called another poster straight or homophobic because of it? go and look at my reputation and you'll see i'm not a troll and have argued in favor of idols being gay or bi (even mingyu) MULTIPLE TIMES. as a lesbian, hearing accusations like this is really hurtful. you're talking to a real person, you know. again, you don't have to believe it, but rumors exist for a reason and mingyu's rumor was pretty big among kfans. don't tell me to shup up lmfao. send me a private message and i'll give you her name. in the end, none of us know the truth, i just wanted to give people another point of view (which i wasn't even able to elaborate). obviously everything i say on here is my PERSONAL opinion? i never claimed otherwise. people don't have to agree with me or believe in the rumors, i just wanted to point out that they EXIST. you could've simply said you don't think they're enough proof, just like i don't think some sketchy lyrics are enough proof, and i would've dropped it. all these comments have been incredibly upsetting. i urge you all to try and have rational discussions with people first before you accuse them of all the disgusting things you've accused me of being. i certainly won't be posting in this thread anymore.

oh my god, can you people please learn how to read? i said no, i don't think he's straight (or rather, i don't have much of an opinion since i don't follow got7) because he doesn't give off the same insecure macho dude vibes as s.coups. s.coups may be fine with showing physical affection, but he's said and done enough annoyingly straight and heteronormative things for me to still consider him heterosexual. if you think he's gay, whatever, i just wanted to point out that i don't agree. it's also a known fact among kfans that mingyu dates a lot of girls (for a while when you searched his name on instiz/naver the words "girlfriend" and even his former girlfriend's name would be the top search results), so if anything he is bi. if you're a dude and willingly choose to date girls over and over again, the likelihood of you being gay are low IMO. i'm really not trying to "defend" anyone from "accusations of homosexuality" (like i said i AM gay and would love if some of the idols i liked turned out to be gay as well), i'm just trying to be realistic?

s.coups is one of the straightest members in seventeen. people love taking song lyrics and interviews out of context and reading things into them that aren't there. and jeongcheol simply aren't as popular among korean fans because they prefer other s.coups and jeonghan ships. it has nothing to do with fans trying to hide their relationship (a theory i've seen brought up a couple of times before and it's not factual). jeongcheol is still one of the more popular ships even within kfandom.

don't call me that, i don't even know you. also comments like this are the reason why people don't take the gay threads seriously. you can't just dismiss an idol's previous relationship like that? of course there are lesbians who've dated men in the past, but there are just as many, if not more, who haven't. the fact that xiyeon's had a boyfriend remains, therefor a lot more points to her being straight than gay. if anything you should be arguing that she's bi.

not sure why people are convinced that kyulkyung and eunwoo are straight when they've never shown any interest in men before (unlike roa and rena who are big bang stans, xiyeon who has dated a dude in the past, etc.)? kyulkyung is suspicious for sure. i don't know why people in this thread love labeling her as heterosexual, but think other touchy and affectionate female idols are 100% gay/bi. also roa is so painfully straight, it almost hurts seeing her interact with the rest of the girls.

i'm sorry, but i disagree with pretty much your entire first paragraph lmao. sure, he didn't like being misgendered (who does?) back when he still had long hair but he has absolutely no issue with not being manly? where did you get that from? i've said this before but jeonghan fans like to project their own insecurities about the way people perceive him onto him when he himself doesn't have an issue with not being 100% masculine. the boys were once asked in a japanese magazine if they prefer being cool/manly or cute and jeonghan was one of the few members that picked cute. he has no problem with being regarded as the mother of the group either and even calls himself "mom" sometimes, so i really don't know what you're talking about. he can be quite flamboyant, too (not seungkwan- or jun-level, mind you, but flamboyant nonetheless). moreover, kfans have even asked him at fansigns how he can speak so "prettily", so yes, there is something special about his speech (he basically talks like an elementary school teacher, very soft). just because he has broad shoulders and a typically masculine physique doesn't mean he's a manly macho man? he never voiced any complaints about his androgynous looks either? pretty sure he's mentioned that long hair is more troublesome to take care of than short hair but that's it. he's shown his "real personality" plently of times, people really love to exaggarate how manipulative and "mysterious" he is. he's just a normal dude, really (one who's very good at fanservice and knows what fans want to see). i personally think he's bi because i feel like i've seen him show attraction towards both men and women before, but that's just me.

most people believe joshua's gay because of his mannerisms and speech (especially when he's speaking english). he's one of the less fanservice-y members and appears to be a bit of an airhead, so there really isn't much else to go by. i don't really like bringing ships into these discussions but since you mentioned meanie and verkwan, i'll say that joshua and jeonghan had some interesting pre-debut interactions ( , , ,4 and a lot more), mostly because joshua used to be the one to initiate skinship back in 2013 but it's the opposite now? i don't think they're anything more than good friends but it might still be something to consider. (and the fact that he toned down the fanservice after debut is kinda weird?) we can probably agree that the boys were a lot less camera conscious pre-debut. not to mention that i've also never seen joshua express any interest in women. if this isn't enough to convince you, then i'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree. sort of ot but not really:

s.coups is probably the straightest seventeen member, i can't believe how many people think he and jeonghan have something going on. jeongcheol shippers always bring up that video of them walking down a hallway holding hands and claim they didn't know cameras were around but they did? if you watch it closely, you'll see jeonghan smiling at the fans that were filming them right before they interlock hands. they knew fans were watching and did it on purpose. they're just very good at fanservice and know what fans like. i'm sure they're good friends but they're not even the closest in the group and their interactions off stage really aren't as suspicious as fans make them out to be. i do suspect jeonghan for various reasons but his relationship with s.coups isn't one of them and i don't think he's into him at all like i've seen some people in here claim in the past.

i happened during a live stream (that not even that many people watched). sulli has kissed hara during one of her insta lives before, they're just really affectionate.

or they just kissed because they're friends and wanted to? even if you think they're straight, that doesn't mean everything they do is for the sake of attracting "male attention". i frankly doubt they care about that.
