  2. Shinhwa’s Lee Min Woo Hospitalized With Minor Injuries After Motor Vehicle Accident - Soompi

Lee Min Woo’s representative said on June 27, “Lee Min Woo was involved in a car crash last week. He was waiting at a stoplight when a truck driver who had fallen asleep at the wheel hit his car him from behind. However, there were no big injuries and the injuries sustained are small. However, since there could be aftereffects from the crash, he is getting more tests and is focusing on treatment.â€

He will be staying in hospital for a little while. The representative said, “He is currently resting and recovering.â€

haven't posted in this thread for a while

I hope he gets well soon!

  3. Jihoon's not one of my faves but I have to say that he's who I'd scout first to be my trainee if I were a company. He is the very icon of what an idol's supposed to be. I think his lack of screen time also has a little to do with the fact that his popularity seemed to have come about completely unplanned--Mnet had no time to script in his favor initially, and then afterward I think they just decided to stick to "the untouchable guy" as his image

  4. Guys, is there someone who is not eliminated yet and isnt your fave but at the same time you dont get why his rank is so low?

For me it's lee youjin, i thought korea would love his visual. I know he doesnt get a lot of screentime but he gets closeup shots in nayana and well thats pretty much what haknyeon needed to enter top 11, after that and before eunki fiasco, he was a ghost. Lee youjin does get screentime with his rythm ta team but it seems like hes not rising at all. I wonder why

Since people are finally picking up on that Park Woojin recognition now I have to cry about my S.How boys and Sungwoon

  5. I just want to put in my thoughts on Samuel really quick. Not tryna throw shade, I think the boy's adorable and deserves a lot for his hard work (also I think if he polishes his dance a little more he has the potential to be incredible, he's a fucking natural), these are personal thoughts and opinions so don't take them to heart

So among the trainees he's got

    - great dance

    - strong vocals

    - cute personality

    - decent visuals

    - respectable stage presence

I've seen a lot of complaints about him getting last in the live votes ("check voting" and w/e), but somehow I feel it's fair. He's talented, he's good at it all, but when I'm watching the Get Ugly perf and all the individual fancams, despite his hair color and even center position he just doesn't stand out? He has everything going for him except that x factor, if you get what I mean.

It's also what surprised me about Hyungseop, because I really didn't pay much attention to him (aside from chair somersault and insane egg slurping) before the Get Ugly performance. But when he's up there, even though I think he's significantly more rigid than the others when it comes to dance, he has that x factor. Samuel may be the better dancer, but if I'm watching Samuel's fancam my eyes would find themselves wandering to Hyungseop or Woojin or Daniel, or just about everyone else. Part of the reason may be it doesn't seem like he's genuinely enjoying himself on stage--when it comes to the individual fancams, while he sneaks in several smiles and expressions when he needs to or remembers, half the time he looks like he's stressed. To the audience it seems as if unlike the others, the dance to him isn't as much a dance or performance as it is a routine. That might be it, actually: he's got it with the dance and vocals and expressions as individual tasks, but they don't somehow seem to meld together naturally as a performance.

  6. I'm just here to say my king Park Woojin is finally getting recognition and I'm so so proud

(and Daniel too ofc but that's a given)

my baby chick Yoo Seunho is doing well and while he's damn charismatic and making huge steps in improvement he's still a little unprepared, I hope he finds success in the future, but I'm not sure I want him debuting now

    rip Kim Namhyung

Ha Sungwoon needs to hang in there, he deserves everything, it'd be nice if he and Kid Monster manage to win HOTSHOT acknowledgment

I used to be really indifferent toward Ren, Ahn Hyeongseop, Jung Jung and the three who did the SMTM rap (except for A-Tom), but the recent episodes have changed my mind completely. Ahn Hyeongseop especially stood out as the guy who really didn't previously stand out to me (aside from being the dude who threw the chair somersault and ate raw eggs like a fucking maniac), so with the latest performance I took special notice and his expressions are on point

    ^I sound insane

  7. Hi guys, I'm getting into Shinhwa. I love their bond, SOOOOO rare to come across that kind of relationship within junior groups. Actually, that's one aspect I look for in groups before stanning (mamamoo has two members who have been best friends since middle school). Where do I start? Is there an index with all shinhwa appearances on shows (a filmography of sorts)?

As everyone else already recommended ShinBang (which is definitely, definitely, hands down the best material), stuff like cutscenes from some of the concert DVDs, or variety shows (Happy Together, Running Man, Cool Kiz on the Block, Love Letter) helps highlight some of their old stories and gimmicks--they're the Kings of Variety inside and outside of Shinhwa Broadcast. Random fancams, interviews, and small clips of them messing around can also be pretty easily searched up. If you want, I can PM you a link to my Shinhwa YouTube playlist (LOL). Other stuff, like appearances on Win Win, SNL Korea, I Live Alone, Healing Camp, and old documentaries may be harder to access, but if you dig hard enough through all the orangeboxes and Shinhwa SF subs you'll be able to find what you're looking for! As for discography it's just a slow burn of going through every album; there isn't a standout that's particularly bad. Favored music is different for everyone but I'd personally suggest Perfect Man, Winter Story, Volume 9 and The Classic as my favorites. For music videos, if I were to recommend ten to give a good spread I'd say watch Only One, T.O.P., Yo!, Once in a Lifetime, Hero, This Love, Sniper, Venus, Touch and Brand New.

Seventeen is almost done getting subbed!!! Thank you to the generous fans who contributed their subs~~!! Translations are still on-going, we're almost there but if any more help is welcome, be it encoder or translator!

I can't believe you actually went and did it, bless your soul and your children and the children of your future great-grandchildren

  9. Anyone listened to the album yet???

Y'all have GOT to check out Super Power when you get the chance. That would have been an amazing title track along with Touch.

Oh my god, I didn't listen until now and you are so right, Super Power is secretly a funk/post-trap hybrid with a fourth/fifth pivot (Minwoo's part I think, in the chorus) that sounds absolutely amazing.
