I'm about to take everything I've been feeling for the past month into a long rant, so bare with me.

It really bothers me how people can become famous for being assassins and criminals and end up inspiring movies, TV shows, songs, even entire albums for killing other people. Like Hannibal or Jeffrey Dahmer or even Bonnie and Clyde. I can only think of the victims, who were beaten, raped, tortured murdered and eaten and whose name no one remembers, but their murderers are till this day used as an inspiration for different types of art. Idk, maybe I'm being overly sensitive and I know this isn't always the case, but sometimes is like the media "romanticizes" what these criminals did just to get a compelling story or a verse in a song. I think this lessens what the victims went through and how they really suffered and died in a hideous way. Imagine being family of a person murdered by Jefrrey Dahmer and listening to Katy Perry's Dark Horse, with Juicy J throwing Dahmer's name around like it's nothing. Idk, it just bothers me.

Lately I've been feeling as if kpop songs were losing their "catchiness" because producers try so hard to make them sound like Western tracks or add an "edgy" feeling to them. Most title tracks these days are pretty forgettable imo, even if they're not bad - some are even loved by fans, which I guess I can understand, since they have a lot of potential to be great, but producers stick to that electronic type of instrumental during the chorus while just repeating a few words and all the building the song had so far falls flat. One of kpop strongest points, imo, is their catchy and strong choruses using more than one member's voice, but lately I haven't been seeing a lot of that. Idk if this makes sense, but wtv, I just wanted to put that out.

I think BTS managed to find that rare place between fame and happiness where they work with what they love, get tons of money for it, but still manage to not overwork, have fun and maintain a private life. They all look so happy now, I'm glad they never gave up
