I agree that they always go for the realistic concept. That's actually one of the things I like about them, cause I can take them seriously knowing they're most likely talking about things they've experienced first hand and trying to teach a lesson with the concept altogether (enjoy your youth, face your difficulties, stand your ground). That's why I'm not sure about the fantasy thing; it's just the atmosphere I got from the concept pics, but we all know those don't always reflect the MV itself. Although, now that I had time to digest, I think I'd like a fantasy concept. Like you said, they'd probably still keep it as real as possible. I imagine something dark and creepy, to show the craziness inside the human mind or something like that~~ Very psychological, very Bangtan. Mr. Son just knows exactly what to do with each member, imo. Never forget the Intro Teaser, the Gayo Daejeon performance, it's like everything he touches turns gold. I keep imagining what he'd do with Fire break dance and it makes me sad cause I'll never know Filler moves frustrate so freaking much, omg. That's actually why I don't love Fire and Dope routines: except for the chorus, almost every other move is them running around or standing still. And then you look at N.O and Danger, everything was so perfectly coordinated, even their steps was synchronized. But I have to agree, I prefer that they evolve musically. Agreed. I hope it's a story MV. I wasn't feeling the concept photos (not a fan of velvet suits), but then I started imagining all the possibilities of what they can do with aesthetics like this and now I'm excited. Dance shots would make it awkward, especially if it's a fantasy-like concept. Anyways, since we're talking about dancing... This might an unpopular opinion, but I really miss when Mr. Son was their only choreographer Their latest routines have been good, but I feel like Mr. Son can work with a group better and make every member shine. Transitions were always on point and I love how the movements matched the lyrics. Fire and Dope are probably their most popular dances, but they're the ones I like the least. Like they go hard on the chorus and the break, but the verses are almost messy. I still like them, of course, but that'd never happened before they started working with others choreographers.

I went back to watch BV ep1 so I could see their dorm and compare it to the pics you guys posted, but... I can't make up anything besides clothes and walls and beds They have too many things! How do they even find anything in that maze?! I can't even tell where a room starts and ends. Jesus. And this is a bigger dorm; I can't even imagine what a smaller one would look like.

That picture of Tae is purely glorious. I once read a fanfic (a long time ago, when I still read fanfics) where he was a fallen angel and this pic gives me the same vibe. SAME! I've always thought they have one of the best dance lines in kpop. I'm forever salty they don't get the recognition they deserve (especially Hobi). The dance line is a huge part of the reason I got into BTS and they remain my bias group. I don't know much about dancing technique, but that doesn't matter when I'm watching them; they're able to keep me mesmerized from beginning to end of every performance and sometimes (almost all the time) I get the impression they move like they were only one body, not three if that makes sense. And actually, now that I think about it, that can by applied to all of BTS, not just dance line. The group itself has such a great chemistry and dynamics, they're all connected somehow and that reflects on every move they make, not just dancing. That's part of the reason why their live performances are always so good imo. And can't forget to thank Mr. Son for always giving them the best choreographies Anyways, off to watch the new bomb now! Got 50/50. The hardest songs are the pre-debut/oldest ones. I always get confused between Adult Child, School of Tears and So4More. About Mama: *sigh* I know it's not going to happen, but I wish they wouldn't attend this year. I'll be praying they don't get mistreated again and perform at least two songs ALONE. I love collaborations, but they deserve to shine on their own. Edit: Oh, and Jin is giving me too many feels lately This Puma CF made my heart stop. He's so handsome. His staring alone is enough to make me fall for him all over again. Also, the new bomb! I love watching cant-dance-line dance! It's amazing how far they've come. J-hope's solo made me speechless the first time I saw it, so I was very pleasantly surprised when Jin managed to keep up with him. Both him and Namjoon improved so much! And don't get me started on dance line teaching them... This latest set of Bombs are some of my favorites. The members reactions to the performances are always on point. I love how they're so supportive of each other, it's one of my favorite things about this group.

It's always bothered me how some fans keep asking for the other members in someone else's live. As an OT7 fan, that's really hurtful and I wish everyone would just realize how impolite and inconvenient that is. I liked it that Seokjin called them out on that, but he shouldn't even need to. And although I do agree that video was misleading is some forms, I imagine they have to deal with this type of disrespect very often (every kpop group does, tbh). Sometimes I think this is part of the fandom culture, with all these akgaes and this idea that idols are somehow working for us. Not to mention our fandom particularly also has a lot of young people who might not know any better, there's that too. Either way, I wish they'd stop. The boys work too hard for this.

Hope I'm in the right place. Hey, guys! I'm new here. I've been lurking for around three months but only made an account now. I'm still quite lost, so please tell me if I'm posting in the wrong thread or if I need some sort of permission to be here~ I mean no harm. I've been an ARMY for almost two years and my first contact with BTS was the iconic girl group dancing on Weekly Idol Back then, I was trying to know as many groups as I could, so I watched American Hustle Life and couldn't help but fall for them. My first bias was Suga. Then V, j-hope, Jungkook, RM... They took turns, actually. Until eventually, I decided to just admit I can't choose only one. I love them all from the bottom of my heart and they've helped me go through some of the hardest periods of my life. I'm following them since the end of War of Hormones. Their discography is my favorite in kpop, but I can't pick a favorite album. You can already tell I'm terrible at choosing favorite things, right? But I blame BTS for that. Their content is too good, imo, so I don't even try. I hope to have some nice discussions here.
