  1. Jaejoong was THE most obvious one back then. Really? I was thinking of watching their knowing brother episode. Is that a good example?
  2. And I think everyone here knows what we're doing here. And we don't care its moot. We're not investigative journalists who need absolute proof to make a forum post lol. That said, let's just agree to disagree coz this isn't that serious, and neither of us are going to change our opinions. The back and forth is derailing this thread.
  3. That's playing into stereotypes. I look like the typical dumb, girly girl who only cares about "men" and "fashion", but I spend hours holing inside my room/office, working or geeking out on the internet. Oh, and I love coding. Stereotypes honey. Not everyone confirms to them. Actually, barely anyone does, in my experience. And its funny how people call "fanservice" at every possible thing, but forget that saying someone's good with girls, would get married first, etc, is obvious fanservice too. They're boosting up his manly image. Jungkook is the only one who has a manly image in that group, and looks that part as well. He's the one little girls (majority of their fanbase) fall for first. Let's not forget that obvious fact. That said, I've made it pretty clear that I'm not 100% sure of him yet (maybe in a few years). But I won't put him in the straight box just coz he "looks" straight, either. Of course we won't know, that's why we're speculating here. We haven't gotten clear answers for idols who debuted 20 years ago. We can't even dare to hope for the younger ones. So, I'm sure everyone here knows we're not talking facts, but opinions.
  4. He is now, very much so (I was shocked when looking at some of the gifs posted here. Not the Yunho I remember seeing in DBSK videos). He wasn't before though.
  5. Thank you!!! I was really tempted to post a rant about that, but then I got lazy. To add to the Jungkook discussion, well, if he really is a part of the LGBT community (I'm like 60% sure of him at this point, unlike V & Jimin's 100% - they had obvious attractions & crushes outside the group), you can expect people to defend his straightness to hell and back at least for another 10 years. He's the second Yunho of Kpop. A guy who's good at everything, uber masculine and the perfect "Oppa". 99% of people won't be able to see beyond that.
  6. Tao - gay, and hasn't changed at all, imo. Outside Taohun, and his general "gayness", I found his relationship with that senior army guy in real men suspicious. Luhan - his relationship with his girlfriend seems legit enough, so maybe we misjudged him earlier. Or it could all be good old media play. But either way, he was too obsessed with Xiumin for me to completely disregard him, so I'd say bi/bicurious for now, until we know further (which we probably never will in Homophobic China with their petty laws). Kris - No idea. He's really really hard to read man! I've read some people in here saying he's bi, but I've personally never seen any indication of it. But then again, I don't follow him like I follow the other two, so I might be wrong.
  7. I think a lot of people confused off-screen J-Hope with his on-screen personality, tbh. That's why I never really formed an opinion of him until recently. He rarely shows his real emotions onscreen, just like Jin. The only person I'm 100% sure of is Jimin, and to an extent V (though I'm not sure if he's bi or gay). Recently, Jungkook has entered my radar. But statistically speaking, this shouldn't even be possible (3/7), so I try not to think about the number of people I'm naming, but then again, this is BTS we're talking about, so who knows. But I did side eye Jin and Namjoon coz they were pretty insistent in their non-heteronormative answers (especially Jin, which was shocking, to be honest). They could just feel strongly about it because they have LGBT friends/members, or they could be a part of the community. That's still up in the air. Overall, we can conclude that BTS as a whole is the most open minded Kpop group we've come across.
  8. American boyfriends? How are they even making that work? Or is that a PG-13 version of hookups? Either way...2, could be more than 2. Whoa.
  9. Agreed. Jungkook is young. He probably has too many young fans lurking this thread to monitor whether we are naming their "oppa". That said, I think Jungkook is susp too, outside of "ships". He's had consistent receipts, small and big. And I don't believe anymore that he doesn't understand the importance of the people he's naming or taking photos with. He's too old for that.
  10. Hehe, true. Must be fans who've not watched their old stuff, or just non-fans? Then again, when has Jimin tried to act explicitly "straight" or "macho". He's usually overflowing with aegeo (did I spell that right?).
  11. What the... Whoa...this guy...he's younger than me but I have mad respect for him!
  12. Ok guys, that glass thing was probably a coincidence. Seriously, let's not dig too deep.
  13. I do see people calling people "suspicious" and "gay" for the simplest things in this thread, but with something that is ACTUALLY suspicious, they refuse to discuss. I think it has a lot to do with "shipping" and "shipping bias", which is why I stopped responding to this particular discussion. You can't argue with hardcore shippers (on both sides) or people with any kind of bias in general. They'll pull you to their level with pointless arguments and they completely disregard anything you say. For the last time: No, this is NOT proof of anything. Nothing we discuss here is proof of anything. But the video is good enough to be discussed on this thread, since we've discussed lesser "receipts" on here with more fervor, for idols who barely ping. Jimin AND Jungkook ping, a lot imo, so people who just want to disregard this video as nothing/fanservice are just biased, period. If anything, this highlights that Jungkook is NOT your typical straight Korean boy. No straight boy films their friend 90% of their vacation and creates a romantic as f**k video about it. He probably just has a crush, or there is more, but there is definitely something in his actions. Ps. Was gonna ignore the discussion, but people keep bringing it up, so yeah. Yeah, me too! He was just too....flamboyant...stereotypes aside, it is usually a pretty good indication of someone's sexuality.
  14. So the video really did go viral huh. Aww, the comments are cute. And the irony lol.
  15. Ya, his reaction then was weird. Umm, other than that, I don't really know if there are receipts. But I'm not completely disregarding him either coz with Jin, you never know when he's acting up for the cameras and when he's being himself (like JHope). People like him probably need a lot more time to figure out.
  16. I don't know much about Heechul. My sister's his fan (watches everything he's in) and she recently said that she thinks he's more bi than gay. I know most people think he's gay in this thread though. Either way, he's a part of the LGBT community. I've always thought Jaejoong was gay, even before I came to a conclusion about Yunho. He's just too awkward around women. Either that, or he behaves like a little brother or older brother with them. There is no in-between for him. I completely agree with you on Yunho's problem with toxic masculinity. I don't watch his recent stuff, but I've watched pretty much every Eng subbed DBSK video out there, and they did expect WAY TOO MUCH from him. He's the leader. He was expected to be calm, collected, strong (physically and mentally) and NEVER make mistakes. In both Japanese and Korean shows, I saw this pattern repeat a lot. The others could speak out of turn or say weird things, but never Yunho. I guess their immense popularity added to his burden too. I heard he's loosened up over the years? He'll probably continue to do so. Hopefully. Are we sure Key is an open secret in Korea? I thought only Jokwon was? Taemin, yeah, he's LGBT lol. I'm not a fan, but even an outsider like me can see he's not straight. Ya, Sehun's suspicious. He's had weird relationships with too many men to count: Tao, Donghae, the chef guy he hangs out with nowadays. Also, he's pretty much admitted on stage that he likes men.
  17. Possibly. They released the scandal in early 2013, and that's when Tony bought his current apartment and they both (JD & Tony) moved in. It probably raised too many questions, so Tony agreed to the scandal to get back his "straight" image. We never know, but I can't really take that seriously.
  18. Yeah...they see it but they don't acknowledge it, am I right? Ah well, that's better than nothing I guess. At least no one's denying them opportunities coz of it. They seem to get more appearances just coz of who they are to each other. Lol, true, they probably need to make more money ASAP. Blowing everything on depreciating stuff, crazy. I didn't manage to get an answer to this anywhere. You're a long time fan right, so let me ask you. What exactly does Tony do? Appear on variety shows? There isn't much on his businesses online, so I don't know if they are doing well enough to keep them afloat. Jekki's contract has 1 year left, so yeah... I've been wondering how they managed before, since Tony had a 2 year ban coz of his scandal and all. I think the guys in the entertainment business know the real truth? I'm not sure about the public though, since even Int. Jekki fans still call them friends. But either way, my guess is, once they enter their 40s and it becomes obvious that they aren't going to marry a woman, people would finally open their eyes. Or maybe not. I'm not holding my breath. But you're right. Friendship has a limit. And I noticed Koreans raise eyebrows only at "undeniable" stuff that literally slaps them in the face (they brush anything less aside), so the fact that they are even remotely questioning these two can be taken as proof of these guys being together, yeah?
  19. Guys!! New fan here...recently got obsessed with Sechskies. They're awesome. This place is a haven for new int fans like me who can't find eng sub videos of their stuff. Do you guys have the eng sub version of this interview? http://my.tv.sohu.com/us/312813498/93806351.shtml
  20. It blows my mind that they are still able to hide under the friendship umbrella. I thought more people would question why Jaeduck spent all his money on Tony's house. But nope, no one did. Things are really really bad in Korea huh. Ya, the video was adorable, and Jimin even more so.
  21. Yeah! I don't see how fangirls scream when they see that. Isn't it cringey? Fortunately, BTS isn't into gay fanservice anymore. I guess their older stuff did have a lot of it, but not anymore. I can't sit through any of their videos otherwise. Here you go: Ep 152: https://www.facebook.com/kangjin20/videos/127651684566037/ Ep 153: http://ikshow.net/shows/take-good-care-of-the-fridge/episode-153/ Jimin was a ball of sunshine. Jin was really really funny. And Tony and Jaeduck were serving quality tea every minute of the episode. Unfortunately, there is no one part I can point you to. Umm, maybe just look at the first part of the first episode, till the part where they show their fridge? That's when they talk the most about Tony & Jaeduck's "relationship" and they show pics of their living room and all. I thought he'd be weirded out, or not comment. But the first thing he said was, in the future, I want to do something like that in my house. I don't think he's too innocent to not know how those 2 guys come off. I think he doesn't find implications like that weird anymore, which is great.
  22. Edit: Ah, you edited your reply. Ya, there were some who tried to brush the whole thing off as fanservice, and I was addressing them. Tbh, I didn't read any of your posts other than the ones where you quoted me. I don't think there is an element of fanservice, tbh. I know companies do that, but the progression of things (the vacation) in this instance were natural, and the videos seemed more like an after thought than a pre-planned thing. But yeah, I'm not trying to convince you, so lets leave it at this. Ooooh. The lyrics. Nothing beats "Move" though. That performance was a masterpiece.
  23. That's EXACTLY what I'm talking about. There was another poster who didn't agree with me. I have no problem, and I'm sure no one here has problems with differing opinions. But let's no go to extremes to make them, especially when you're not even fans of the group. Tinhat theories happen on both sides, and it's ridiculous and embarrassing when either side does it. If people claim this video is absolute proof, then they are being ridiculous. So are people who are claiming an obvious vacation as fanservice. In my opinion, this is one more thing to add to the pile of things I find suspicious about Jungkook (and Jimin). Simple as that. So you think V's trip with Bogum was marketing as well? Anyway, this is your opinion, and neither of us are going to change our stance. Let's just agree to disagree then.
  24. Calling their entire trip fanservice is extreme, no matter how you try to spin it. Agreed
