  1. Song of the year, Best Music video, Global artist award. Suga won Hot trend award for producing "Wine"
  2. Seriously Army, someone tell me...which is the bigger award (please don't tell me its Artist of the year). I'm so pissed off right now, and the "undeserving" comments aren't making me feel any better.
  3. Lol no. But fact remains that a good portion are. Most straight guys can't digest their extreme metrosexual-ness (is that even a word?).
  4. That's men. They literally fetishize (sexually). That is, as long as they fit their ideal types. Show them a butch lesbian, and they'll run for the hills. From what I've seen, women don't do it as much, except outside of ships. Too many of them genuinely believe these guys are straight, that they "can't" be gay (I've read this waaay too many times in comments on different platforms). They ship them, but they "know" ships aren't real and can never be real. That's how the thinking goes. They are so certain in their belief that everyone in their belief that ALL the members of their favorite group are straight, you would be shocked to see the extents they would go to prove it.
  5. Thanks hon. I don't. I think he's Bi, at the most. I've seen him expressing genuine interest for women too many times to ignore. Also, he seems to be telling the truth when talking about his past girlfriends, though past girlfriends don't automatically mean bi or straight. Ps. Oh god, are we arguing over whether a fan is LGBT or not? So what if he is? What's it with you people? Most gay men are manly and have muscles. Have you seen Jaejoong's muscles? Asian men and their natural soft facial features have skewed your perceptions. This is just getting ridiculous by the day.
  6. Thanks! That's a cute hashtag, but yeah, I don't think this tweet indicates much?
  7. Ah, got it. Btw, I agree with you. He's the perfect mix.
  8. Not really. I'm looking at this tweet for the first time. What are the captions saying? Which performance are you talking about? Can you share the link? I wouldn't be surprised if this was happening, but what do they get out of pretending to be gay? Korean girls, for all their shipping, don't want their oppars to be gay. They want to marry them in the future, after all. He couldn't take his eyes off him lol.
  9. Yes, you're right. Actually, I realized that a while back. But now, that means I'm suspicious of everyone in BTS (Jin too, coz seriously, when you look closely, which I have been lately, he pings a lot), and I never thought I'd be one of those people. Ah, this is so frustrating.
  10. Any BTS Jin fans here? I want to know your take on him. I've admitted I'm finding it difficult to figure out his real character, so I have no opinion on his sexuality yet.
  11. Or coz it's not Luhan (or Kai, or whoever he's being shipped with nowadays).
  12. The leaning in, yes, I've noticed that a lot. It's so unlike how he acts with his band mates, so it stands out. Could just be that he's shy around older guys in general, but his sometimes it looks like its more than that. Do you have any videos or gifs you can share here? I'd like to look at them again. Lol at the homophobic stans. They are the only constant in EVERY fandom (even in 14 year old ones). Go on a blocking spree.
  13. V's the last person I'd suspect of having gone through childhood abuse. Nothing in his body language (with his parents or other adults) indicates abuse of any sort.
  14. I couldn't have articulated it this well even if I tried. Thanks. I did do some digging after listening to the song. Let me try to disprove some of the common arguments against the homosexual theory: 1. Namjoon didn't want to talk about the meaning - probably means V wrote the song and only got help on the English verses. 2. His grandmother died after this song was written, so it wasn't for her. Even if the timeline didn't match, the lyrics have nothing to with her anyway. 3. This song has nothing to do with the storyline of the album. God, Namjoon made that pretty clear for all the solos. 4. Brother and sister, in my opinion, refers to the people around him, not his siblings. You don't write such a raw, painful song about siblings you're still seeing once a year. These are adult men, they don't get raw emotions about stuff like that. Men and women work away from their family all the time. Moreover, I don't believe the lyrics even talks about him being sorry to his siblings for not taking care of them. There is no indication of that. 5. The only person he's sorry to is that mysterious X he hurt. If the coming out theory is true, my guess is, he let someone else face all the flack while sitting back, or participating in the mess. "Why were you like to me back then?". Kinda telling. Happens, and that's a shitty thing to do to a friend. No wonder he feels bad. So yeah. That's it. Forbidden love...that's an interesting explanation. I was under the impression that LIE was written about hiding himself. You know how he acted before (macho and stuff). In his latest Vlive, he openly said the old Jimin was no more so we shouldn't expect to see him. But I'd love to hear your thoughts too (here or in PM. I was writing a reply essay back to you in PM, anyway).
  15. So much raw pain in those lyrics... Yeah, and the comment section on that video is a mess. Though I'm proud many of them have the guts to openly call it a coming out song.
  16. I might be late to the party with this one, but I was listening to BTS solos, and V's stigma is....wow.... I thought Jimin's LIE was deep. This one far exceeds that. Poor thing, born in a world as cruel as this, in a country that'd rather ignore you.
  17. Which girls have you been around? Maybe 13 year olds do (maybe), but I don't believe that they'd cuddle in their underwear lol. It's just too weird. V was really really weird in both incidents (cuddling Jimin in underwear and practically grinding Jin lol). If this was normal behavior, Jimin wouldn't have said he was uncomfortable at first. Actually, I've been meaning to post this a lot. Look at how the older, established groups/idols react to skinship. They are more representative of the actual Korean society than the young ones who do skinship for camera. I don't think Korean men have no boundaries, like these young groups would like us to believe when on cam. Maybe when they were kids with no inhibitions, but not young adults going through puberty, and definitely not grown adults. That's too weird. In a Mom's diary episode Moon Hee jun asked Tony An whether he and Jaeduck have skinship. Tony was too defensive, and said he never laid hands on him, didn't even hold hands with him. That seems more normal than believing grown adult men would find it normal to be all over each other.
  18. Sorry for butting in, but I loved that show! And sadly couldn't find anything that lived up to its standards. I felt it depicted real life pretty well, overall, and the drama was interesting (though the bi guy did get annoying at times). Advanced bravely came close, but I'm iffy about their acting, so I haven't watched beyond a few episodes (yet).
  19. His dance in purple line was "fabulous" lol. But yeah, I think it was a part of him trying hard to be the perfect boyfriend material and everyone around him pushing him to be so. Must have been stressful. Glad that phase is behind him now. Ps. Oops, sorry, double post.
