ah i see - receipts for jaehyun's participation. he wrote his own lyrics for Fire Truck. as far as i know none of the members participated in the composition of tracks last mini-album, just lyrics. as of now only markjaeyong are listed under the KMCA i mean his lyrics weren't GROUNDBREAKING.. but he did participate Click here to view the Tweet forgive the essay people but i think jaehyun is a very interesting case... a lot of fans associate him with being a nation's it-boy or some sort of actor in the making because of his visuals. he's expressed interest in acting perhaps once or twice, but if i recall doyoung has too and no one really talks about it as much as they shoehorn jaehyun into the typical "actor" role. jaehyun just seems hell-bent on being an all-rounder, imo. i've been getting into jaehyun lately with this cb (taeil remains a firm #1........ his visual PeAk is LIMITLESS!!! ......) but i like to get to know the members as in-depth as my bias lmfao. and from my observations jaehyun takes the musical side of being an idol a bit more seriously than most people give him credit for. he plays an instrument (not indicative of much, but its a good foundation) and although he was casted for his looks it wasn't like he was completely uninterested in music prior to SM, he seemed to have quite a passion for it, which i notice when he talks about their songs. and i'm not talking the typical scripted stuff like "this is an urban fusion r&b track that will spread hope to the world blah blah blah" but when he actually describes his execution of their material... v interesting imo.... still tryna decipher him..... idk it's too early to write him off going down that path (or any other NCT member actually) as much as the members describe Taeil as a musical person he has yet to participate in anything. it's probably because he's a vocalist + the other three participated in their rap parts, but as of now based on concrete evidence its actually markyong > jaehyun > the rest TBQH. i agree though, every other member seems to have more obvious signs pointing to their interest. like haechan and his music major at SOPA and obv ChenLe with his career and Kun with the notable article of his extensive creative past anyway i just found it interesting that you said that bc i was thinking of bringing up jaehyun's involvement. whether its something he wants to pursue or if he was just fucking around (doubt its the latter lol, but i'm not sure abut the former) any jaehyun stans care to hyperanalyze this boi? i think he's climbing my list orz thanks hon !

oh really? i thought it was maybe at a fansign which is more casual so they can say w/e to the fans ie "oppa are you interested in acting? typical answer: i'd like to try it if given the chance~", but i swear for the life of me i cant remember any actual interviews with a member exlicitly sayin they'd like to try acting out - on another note.... so Taeyong and Mark went to some sort of camp (i'm guessing like a workshop or something to hone their songwriting skills) i'm guessing SM sent them there who else do you think is interested? or a better question: who else do you think SM is willing to support/push into that sort of thing? im thinking haechan, taeil, kun, obviously chenle, and jaehyun too since he's actually the only other member besides markyong to be credited on any NCT stuff

That makes more sense actually i don't think they've ever brought up interest in acting during any NCT interviews/radio shows (fans brought it up pre-debut but that was it) so i thought it was random that they'd start talking about it

Yeah I'm not sure how to feel about these MV views having two MVs split the views and the fact that neither of them were THAT good either (the rough version people hate or love, the performance version is just ok) also added to that fact. they're also tanking on the charts but most boy groups do, though i dont stan any other bgs to compare in that sense physicals look solid

It's a cultural thing, it isn't seen as particularly rude in SK and a lot of other asian countries - that was short and they didn't even get a chance to sing anything live but this particular radio more often than not is just talking. maybe they'll get a chance on another radio station

yeah you're right i;m not talking about the crazy high adlibs when it comes to taeil and doyoung sounding similar... like you said its just the upper range where i'm like "okay. who's this?" LOL idk i just feel like yuta and taeil have really similar tones, even more so than taeil + doyoung. but the giveaway is the way yuta executes his parts
