like i said, i don't really expect them to go drastically changing up the sound for a title. (however, upon listening to mi-myox2 again i don't really understand why you think it's such a big departure? it sounds just like a more uptempo version of valentine's girl to me.) but i really want them to explore different sounds in the bsides.

i actually really enjoyed chocococo and to this day i don't understand why people hated it so much tbh. but i have to mention, a girl like me was an extremely sharp turn from wonderland, and it's hailed as possibly their best title track with the boots a strong contender, hobgoblin and black dress are both sharp turns from all of c/c's previous songs and people really enjoyed them. a sharp turn doesn't necessarily have to kill momentum, the sharp turn just has to be done well. and i never meant for them to use a drastically different sound as the title track of their next comeback, i'm just saying they'd do well with that kind of song. i expect, and hope, that if they release another mini they'll explore even more genres with their bsides, like many other cute ggs do.

that's the thing, i feel like 1/3 kinda has the world at their fingertips when it comes to what sounds they could do. when we look at most of the "cute" ggs rn, they all have songs that kinda deviate from their norm, or they grow as they continue on in their careers. for example, g9dan went from wonderland to a girl like me to chocococo to the boots. wonderland is very much the kinda style 1/3 had in their debut, but from their bsides to their title tracks they have explored a myriad of sounds. i think 1/3 can do the same. when i look at cute ggs, there really isn't any style that they can't do tbh. like look at 5n5d, they went from oh! (the epitome of cute) to run devil run within the same year!

has anyone listened to l0velyz new mini yet? can we talk about how shining star, mi-myo mi-myo and temptation would be the perfect style for 1/3?

i really love rosy. i think it was the perfect song for her voice, much more than see saw tbh. it's really sad to me to see how she's been treated by a large portion of the fandom tbh. like i understand that her kind of tone may not be everyone's cup of tea but that's no reason to be so nasty towards her like i see so many people being.

i never said people hate her, and i'm not saying everyone has to like her voice or her song. i'm just saying that the level of harsh criticism - borderline insults - i see leveled her way, is utterly disproportionate to the rest of the girls. i literally saw people calling her the leftovers after her solo dropped. and just about everyday i see someone talking about her bad her voice is. i've never. never. seen that sort of treatment directed to anyone else in the group.

it's honestly kinda irritating how people talk about gowon and her vocals. like, i personally have my own voices in the group that i'm not fond of but you'd never know it bc i don't make it a habit to just shit talk any of the girls in public. but with gowon.... for some reason people feel so brave calling her talentless and talking about how her voice is bad? like i don't get it what did gowon do to them to deserve this.

justice for gowon tbh, the treatment i've seen her receiving from this fandom is disheartening.

genuinely don't understand why gowon got such a lukewarm response from people when her single dropped. i love the song and i think her voice matched it perfectly. it's only one of my favourite solos at this point.
