that's.... not how any of this works. there are definitely tiers, and midtier are those who aren't crazy popular but have sizeable fandoms. no one would ever consider pr1st1n or w/jsn or w3m3 nugu just because they don't have a digital hit. they're not as popular as other ggs but they're definitely not nugu. a nugu girl group wouldn't get 20k-30k albums sold, that's the point we're trying to make.

well having a digital hit really isn't the critieria for being nugu or not ghfjgh. if they were nugu they wouldn't be selling 20k+ albums (as a girl group). and i'm not really saying it's unrealistic, i dream about them surpassing those kinds of milestones too (and who knows, perhaps they can if bbc promotes them properly and chooses the right title track). and they're definitely growing, i genuinely expect 3rd unit to get close to 10k on gaon and they probably will be the firsts to reach 5k on hanteo the way things are going.

pr1stin, w/jsn and w3m3 are far from nugu though... they all have very sizeable fandoms and sell in the 10s of thousands on both hanteo and gaon. that said, looking at loona's trajectory i feel like they can break into 10k on gaon between 3rd unit debut + repack and ot12 debut. hanteo though... not quite sure at that since they haven't even reached 5k yet on hanteo.

yeah chuu is much more based on someone else's approval whereas the other girls are a lot more self centered.... i wonder if that will play into the lore at any point.

tbh neither did i until i went to their insta to check, they never seem to wait until a loonatv arc has ended to start releasing teasers - oec's repack teasers were released while the tvs for girl front era were still going on, yves's teasers were released during scl era, chuu's were released during yves's arc and so on and so forth

not necessarily tbh, kim lip's teasers were dropped while 1/3's loonatv arc for the repack was going on

hm maybe a reveal teaser towards the end of april? and then image teasers & album teasers first couple weeks in may?

i feel like we won't start seeing teasing until may tbh. im thinking teasing early may and debut late may? but tbh what do i know

the fact that l0velyz can pull off songs like mimyox2 and temptation despite their main sound being like that day is what makes me say that 1/3 can do something similar.
