Awww! I think it was his singing that made me love him at first. His voice is really strong and distinct and just pretty.Then I got to see more of his personality and thought it was so cute. I stopped reading manga and watching romantic anime for a similar reason Nobody ever hooks up Just all these feels for a whole season then open endings If I wanted to write my own ending, I'd just write my own goddamn story. Why would I let them play with me? And if the couple you like actually does fall for each other or hook up, its super downplayed and you don't even get a kiss Or its mixed with tragedy or they get separated by distance so it's supposedly a "bittersweet ending" And if you do get a real and satisfying hookup, its only after surviving 5-8 seasons of suffering through pure bullshit *cough* Nodame Cantabile *cough* I love the way the art looks in manga/anime, but let me tell you......I really HATE that shit that they write and call stories
