Like mom, it's not that serious, you buying one album once wasn't going to save them from this path please stop feeling guilty. 101 is fun, because we're both outside of the focus age demographics so it's great to contrast our views against each others as well as with the younger demos too. Though ngl, right now my top 11 would be more of a top 20 if I could. I favor too many people, this 101 life is pain. Someone should have warned me before I got on the ride.

So I ended up making a spreadsheet of the views and likes on Naver, to compare them. Thought maybe it'd give an interesting picture of who might be safe come the elimination. Of course it's not a perfect method, but I thought it was at least an intriguing idea enough that I'd give it a shot. If you want to look at the full thing it's over here. Let me stop you there. Youtube. Comment. Section. Why are you taking youtube comments seriously? I'd take twitter over youtube any day. Youtube comment sections are almost 95% trash or worse.

No lie, my mother turned to me at that part and went "Did Egg* just crack?" and it was really distracting for the performance in general, because it made me giggle so we had to watch it several times to actually get the whole thing. *So uh... because Seonho and GuanLin are the baby chicks, I might have declared that Woojin was an 'egg' back in like...episode 1, because he's so young. The nickname has stuck with him ever since. To explain.

There are very few things in life that I feel should guarantee something like hate. There's not a single trainee on this show currently that I'd say merits anything of the sort. TBH I'm hesitant to say any of the former trainees on the show really deserves it either, not with how little I fully know about some of the situations there. Dislike them? Sure, go for it. Critique them? All day long. But don't hate. Hate's such a nasty, tainted, awful thing and brings nothing good into the world. I'm bemused and kind of curious as to why fans tend to be so quick to dismiss criticism as 'fangirls' or 'visual supremacists' or whatever other dismissive title they can think of at the time. People can disagree with you without it being because of a double standard or anything else like that, sometimes people just disagree? I'm #1 supporter in the 'Baby chicks should go back to their nests bye' club. I don't think either is that good looking in the grand scheme of things, and their talent is raw at the very best of the way I can describe it. In my personal rankings, Seonho is easily ranked at maybe a 4x position tops, if not in the fifties. I thought the piano was a nice touch. It was a cute way to open the song and added a little pzazz and then was gone. He didn't need the piano to stand on that stage. Honestly, Seonho probably had one of the best performances in his group, which surprised me. Heck, my mother who watches the show, but nothing else actually said 'He's got good presence, he would have been a good center, what a pity". Maybe my views on the piano will change after the we see the backgrounds of their performance, I dunno. Re Sewoon, in my mother's words, his guitar felt like it was a security blanket for him at best. Though a seemingly necessary one, because in her eyes he was just kind of there otherwise. She's concerned about how he'd manage on a stage with presences like Daniel and Jihoon and some of the other top ranked guys who seem to eat spotlight for breakfast. Though, to be fair? She's kind of adopted all of Nu'est so there could be some bias there, just a little. But she had a lot to say about the other three. She's never been big on Daehwi, so that surprised me, but she had good words for him. Though I did get asked afterwards why Daehwi's mood seemed so down and why his energy was lower than it used to be. That was a fun explanation. Fun fact: My mother's 100% team Daniel for center of OIO. We had a nice bicker because I'm honestly more in Jihoon's camp for center position. (Though I love Daniel a lot too. He's 100% in my top 11 after the elimination) Considering we're mature adults, the bicker ended in making silly faces at each other and then agreeing that they're both great. I'm still trying to figure out when Daniel wiggled his way into my list though, I'm seriously not sure when or how that happened.

Well, one thing to remember is that one person can like multiple videos, so it's possibly not as good of a guideline as one might want it to be. Though, I think it's fair to say they've all got a very strong chance at this current rate.

I saw a list of most viewed, but from what I've seen likes are almost just as if not more important. I'm not doing it for youtube, because I'm too lazy to sit and click through half the vids to get the like counts, but here's the one for Naver. In other news, it's safe to say we'll pass 'Be Mine' views and fairly quickly since we've hit the 21.5k mark already. Honestly, the more I watch this the more I admire Taehyun and am thankful to him at the same time. (Which since he's an original member of my top 11, is pretty satisfying no lie) Edit: And 23k has been passed. Woohoo~ Did I say 23? I meant 28k.

I mean, I stayed up until after 5 am for this. Because Chibal's worth it to me tbh. We might not be the biggest fandom, but I hope people never question our dedication. We're a very loyal lil fanbase. Now to find that looper extension thingie. He's got the least views from SOY team on youtube and I feel like I need to rectify this.

I'm honestly expecting we'll see a few struggles and thing where it wasn't quite right or were awkward. But I'm kind of okay with that? I really just want to see how he handles the choreo after everything he's been through, because good lawd this wasn't an easy dance to learn, you know? Especially with all the mishaps and issues they had that week and how little time they had. If it's only a handful of errors or so I'll e beyond impressed. No matter what, I feel like he didn't do as terribly as it could have been done and that's a testament to his hard work. Though uh... Shen's comic from owlturd really does feel like it sums up Sungwoo and his time on 101 perfectly. BUT! Don't worry Chibal! There are people born with talent who're great at falling off of that cloud and then getting nowhere or less than nowhere in life. Like me! At least you've got that hard work to use as a pedestal to hopefully keep you from falling,
