That's how it starts, tbh. Work on it. My mom got into this whole scene because my sisters and I were watching Dream High and she wanted a way to bond with us. That has since turned into her having a passion for Kdramas and Kpop both. All because 'Well, I want to have something to talk with my kids about'. For a moment I wasn't sure how overtrained could be a thing, but...then I realized that it actually does make sense with the way you worded that. There's 1-2 names here I'd swap out, but I'd be pretty content with this as a final lineup. Very solid roster. Indeed! Though wow, never thought I'd see the day I was defending Hyun Bin. As someone who's very much a "I'm fine until I'm not good at something and then I'm stuck, because wtf do I do now????" person, though marginally less so now than back in school. Nothing like being the easy A average kid who soon learns she's not naturally good at higher math and then oops B average, how do I math? IDK, oops there's my first flunked class. Oops, science has math now too. Oh god WHY. I've never had to study what do I dooooooooo. So that description makes him very, very relatable. Oh gosh, don't remind me. it was really hard seeing them drop weight like that. I just wanted to take the entire group, feed them a good meal or two, and make them take a 3 hour nap. I partially tore my acl back in high school. No surgery or pt, because 'I was young and didn't need it' according to my doctors. By the end of the year I'd torn it completely. Over a decade later I still have issues functioning on a day to day basis, between the tear and the subsequent damage that's been caused to the are due to....yeah. So I'm often quick to jump on concerns about things like soft tissue and muscle injuries, because I'm basically disabled and it's a personal area that I feel very strongly about. Thus my curiosity.

I'm not even sure I'd call Hyunbin lazy. The demands of the idol and trainee lifestyle are pretty darn ridiculous. It's a lot of work and very little sleep and in this case involved a lot of work on very little food on top of that. If guys like Daniel, who're more used to the whole trainee thing, clearly lagged and suffered through it... why did we expect more than what we got out of someone like Hyunbin who's not used to that life at all? Think about it, even the baby chicks from Cube have had more training than Hyun Bin. I still judge him for it, not gonna lie, but I feel like calling him lazy when he's already been doing so much work seems a little unfair. A random Hyun Bin thing I've been wondering about. He injured muscles in his thigh, right? That's why he had to drop his fencing career? What impact, if any, do y'all think this would have on his dancing. Because I feel like it probably affects it someway, otherwise why'd he give up fencing?

From a casual observation standpoint? My first reaction was just "Oh how military of you, Sungwoo". I grew up around american military, and that very much feels like a habit people in the force would pick up after a while. So I really wouldn't be surprised if that was a habit picked up when he was doing his service. Though that's merely conjecture on my part.

It's truly beautiful, he's got a lot of talent. Pretty sure even if he gets eliminated it won't be the last we see of him though.

Jung Jung is my precious underrated son and I love him very much. I'm still bemused and enchanted in how in his pop performance he managed to make ab flashing seem sweet and innocent. Though maybe that's just me. Honestly my preferences for the most part are kinda all over the place, but I do probably lean to slightly older looking trainees. Probably an age thing. Deep down I'm super squishy for basically everyone on this show. Even the ones I can't remember or don't really like all that much. I still have this urge to be like 'GO FORTH AND DEBUT. SUCCEED. So I was right about that. No one else was talking about baby fishie being a 6 month trainee, so I thought maybe I was remembering my details wrong. Guess that means I'm not. Which...really just shows his potential really. Vocally he's got the potential I'd expect from Jellypri combined with the visuals I expect from them too. He's been in my top 11 from the start, because I was pretty sure he had the potential, we just hadn't really seen it yet and I feel like he's starting to show that I was right. Well, if you're curious here's what my first top 11 and my second one look like. So you can see where our tastes and style diverse. The ranks were kind of funky and honestly I haven't paid attention to them from the start. I preferred making my own opinion about the trainees without their help. Maybe that's silly all things considered, but I'm stubborn like that.

Before the show aired I watched every single video that was out for every trainee. Ranked them too, that's how I decided my top 11. Who had the best scores from my list. Very clinical. Except for my bb Sungwoo who I shamelessly gave A+++ marks to in every category because he's my sweethang, hey they call it bias for a reason ok Think I managed to throw some of my papers with spreadsheets on them away, but I miraculously still have the one with BJY on it. On an A-F scale just like on the show I rated his intro a D. His eye contact a B, his meringue a C, his box presence was a B and visually a B+ for a total score of 350 points. (For comparisons sake: A = 100 points, B = 80 points C= 60 points D = 40 points F = 20. A + = +10 and a - = -10. So A+ is 110 and a B- is 70. Jihoon - Intro B+, eye contact A, meringue A, Box A+, visuals B for a total of 480 points. Jinyoung - Intro D, eye contact B, meringue, C, Box B, visuals B+ for a total of 350 points Sungwoo is a dirty cheater and stole my heart completely so was awarded a whole 620 points because sometimes it's okay not to grade fairly if it's your own rules and your own lists u_u) It's legit magic whatever he's done though, because even his intro is cuter to me now. Aegyo at me more kiddo, it's adorable. I actually appreciate guys who can do that sort of thing without getting all 'Ewwwwww omg so embarrasing' after. I'm honestly not sure why he didn't get a higher grade considering. Huh. I don't buy into mnet's "gloomy loner eeyore" edit, because I don't buy into most of their edits. So I'm sure he's probably a sweet guy in person. Probably a little introverted maybe, but hell so am I. That's not going to give you negatives marks in my books. Honestly, I've never really liked B1F4 outside of Jihoon. Guanlin and Seonho are okay, but well... I still stand by "The baby chicks need more time in a nest before pushing them out to fly like this." Haknyeon I never understood and Jinyoung never really either. Until now. BJY WHY YOU DO THIS. Edit: I should probably add that the baby chicks have been growing on me too whether I've wanted them to or not. They seem like cute, hard working kids though and it's hard not to like them, you know? That said, still don't really want them in the top 11, but I'm not entirely as opposed to it as I used to be.

..........I think I finally get BaeJin's appeal. Just 2-3 days ago my answer would have been "I don't know, he doesn't seem that special talent wise and he's not even cute really?" and now I'm all "But he's so cute and fluffy and I want to ruffle his hair, what a cute kid". His performance in Spring Day wasn't great, but it wasn't terribad and his normal vocal tone and color is actually nice and enjoyable? Somehow I'm even willing to forgive how awkward the whole 'my best friend' part was despite the fact that it's literally my favorite part of Spring Day. What sorcery is this? Is it petty to hope it's just the eye patch and once it's off I'll go back to being mildly disinterested in him again? The answer is yes, it's petty, but I don't have room for more faves. Go away BJY. I HAVE NO ROOM. smh if I end up with him in my top 11 after the next elimination I will.... probably laugh at myself actually, not gonna lie.

Honestly, you don't even need VPN for that? At least, it's never been an issue for me anyway.Using a VPN seems complicated and I'm entirely too lazy to bother. Honestly, I just use Naver because it's easier to see the view count vs like ratio than it is on youtube. Plus there are plenty of casual ifans who just use youtube and ignore that naver exists so it's not as skewed as it could be. Because uh...... Kfans are confused as to how Daniel is second too and ain't no one voting but kfans more or less, so they clearly don't know what's going on in their own circles at all.

Minor point, you can link naver to facebook or Line so it's incredibly easy for any ifan to have a naver account. Plus even the normal account sign up is in English on my screen, so even if I didn't want to use Facebook (or line) it's really easy to make an account on Naver for any ifan who is interested. Source: Am ifan and use facebook for easy naver access to give hearts to important videos. No Eunki or Jung Jung? No life. :P

My personal top 11 is quite a bit different from the official ranked top 11 or the current top 11 based on views/likes, But I've got a few up there. Aside from the 4 I'm expecting to loose next week, I've quite a few who're pretty comfortably in the top 20, so it could be a lot worse. I can see that as Sungwoo and Taehyun. That's about their height difference too after all. XD

Things Sungwoo clearly doesn't want while on produce 101: -To be the center -To place higher than the kids who help him He's entirely too cute, y'all. I can't. Oh, as of an hour or two ago, he was sitting around 29th for views on Naver and 34th for likes. Which while not amazing numbers are.... about what I expected honestly. I'm hoping it's a positive sign that he's above the 35 person mark in both and that it's a trend that'll continue.
