After people were forgetting the legendary LY: Her after she dropped off the BB chart in her 45th week only because LY: Answer snatched her streams, she's here to remind you all who the real legend is. A 2017 release mmmmmm so powerful.

WHAT? Oh my god where is my brain I somehow didn't even remember that - I'm not sure what I was thinking. So 31k in less than four days? I mean, still though, the BBMA appearance...I know it wasn't much, but it's still something. They were both amazing milestone moments, but yeah Wings will always get held to a really high standard because it was pre-BBMA I suppose.

For me it's because Her was after their 1st BBMA acceptance speech and was a Friday release. With Wings they had nothing, not a single tv appearance in America, less days to chart, no album distribution even for hype, but they still did - and it went on to chart for 2 weeks, the first time ever for a kpop group. I will always put respect on Queen DNA's name, she brought in a ton of fans! That era was extremely vital to their current success and they did so much that we never expected at the time. But the BBMAs preceeding it (even if it was a long time before it) makes it impossible to say that they'd never stepped into the US prior to the album release and that it only had a few days to chart, which is why I think Wings is exceptional since it has both of those things. Thank you for pointing out what LY: Her did though, we never expected 7th place without Amazon or Target albums gjdkfhjs that was so massive.

I didn't consider psy because I like the idea of solo idols from groups having their own catagory. It's not fair to go against psy lol. She could surpass, we'll see.

The HDD numbers are coming in for US album sales this week and I do believe we should expect some drops since we aren't in the top 50 SPS totals. It's totally to be expected, I'm only really curious about RM and the top 200, I'm not worried about Answer at all. Remember to continue to stream mono for clear skin.

HDD will have lots more numbers tomorrow. Right now they only have the top projected sellers and strong debuts and obviously BTS and RM aren't there.

Answer is really gonna pass up Tear's pure album sales. Nothing our queen has done is sacred. And a repackage that came out 3 months later! The disrespect.

I mean not only no American promo, but #26 while releasing on a Monday with the album only available digitally. Even racking up BB200 #1's like they are now, that feat will always be one of their most impressive.

Right?? I think we have to wait for Agust D part 2. I feel like Yoongi's love for Billboard has grown exponentially these past 2 years - he's always been awards/success-focused, how he puts these high goals and even mentions it multiple times in his mixtape, the way he hungers for more fame etc. If any of them is gonna release a solo project on a Friday, I'd put money on him.

So the HDD numbers are in, and it seems we saw a 79% increase in pure LY: Answer sales this week. it should result in a nice rise back up the BB200 chart.

Nice, good job op! RIP the dream of the entire LY series being on BB at the same time. LY: Her granny was baaaarely hanging on in its 44th week, but Answer's release was too much for 45, the second it was released nobody was streaming the LY: Her songs from that album anymore. :( but 44 weeks is still crazy, though Answer will snatch her record ez clap.

Well they looked stupid then too. Even when Bangtan's biggest BB acheivement was 26 on BB200, it was much more than any other kpop group had done before them. It's why this post was so funny. They were like "ARMY twists facts and makes stuff up" in a post where they twisted facts and made stuff up.

It's crazy. I'm still so happy about the timing, right before the grammy museum and whatever other US promo they do. I know people like the later records, and they're great, but I hope the hardcore streamers can focus on streaming the music now instead and let the views go up naturally. They're just making things worse tbh. Like we got the most important one, relax with youtube now. :/

Honestly, might as well trash the entire thread of we think like this. I mean I've seen people questioning the legitimacy of views in general, so where do we stop? YouTube gave us numbers, if people choose not to believe them, too bad for them.

It would be kinda weird to delete one of the only charts that's relevant in Guinness world records and other media though. I'm not gonna see Ryan Seacrest on my tv talking about the 100m record, but there he was talking about BTS beating Taylor. It's an important record. There's always the argument of whether we should go by the live count or YouTube's confirmation, but we have both. I like it as it is.

Well I think that's a good thing, since we've pretty much got #1 on lock, this means less of a week 2 drop! Though I know we all want that sweet 200k lol. Edit: oh and sorry to the fans lmaooo oops. But maybe they should go buy another at target.

Nice, beating Taylor Swift and holding the top viewed video in 24hrs is another great acheivement to go along with everything else this era, like a cherry on top.
