My short term memory might fail me here, but I don't think he was in episode 9 at all. In any case, the guy was a hot issue for a while, so of course they're gonna give him more screen time. Same goes for Somi crushing on guys – she's a teenage girl, it's fine, the fake loveline is just another variety show trope that will never go away.

We know that the stuff that appears in each episode is recorded roughly two weeks earlier... which by that estimate would mean they're recording episode 12 material this/next week (also, Minzy's solo debut is imminent, which will probably feature on the show in some capacity). So yeah, it's safe to say it will keep going indefinitely until they officially announce release and music show dates.

I wouldn't read too much into it – Somi tends to post and then delete things A LOT. Even so, her opening an IG account is still one of the best things to happen in 2017.

I miss Nayoung and her big sisterly affection for Yoojung and Yeonjung. Also, I want to see her and Sohye together to see if they've gotten any closer

The chronology of the editing is not an issue for me, especially as it seems logistically difficult to pull so many disparate elements together. This is not Running Man where they might be trying to cheat the timeline in a race to the finish. They're just trying to document the activities of the group the best they can week to week. If you want a more plausible reason for the modest ratings, put it down to the shitty time slot, which I believe is the same as season one.

Hearing Somi sing live so much lately has made me realise she'll probably never be on King of Masked Singer – not because she can't sing (of course she can!) but that her voice is so distinctive that people would know her identity straight away. Also, does anyone else think she's grown? She seems even taller now to me.

I've always liked Hong Jinyoung and she's always good value on variety shows, but here I get the feeling she's really enjoying being the mood-maker amongst an all-female cast. Especially in this latest episode. I hope she still gets to rap and/or write the rap parts, even though she got shut down... Also, it's hilarious to me how Jinkyung can't catch a break: when she's playing to character and being over-confident people dump on her; when she tries to be serious even for a moment everyone just laughs harder. One thing's for sure: the woman is never not funny.

I haven't read anything confirming the 12 episodes run (or release dates and such) and I would be highly surprised if they capped it at that. I mean, going by last season, they need at least 1.5 episodes JUST for Music Bank.

As a variety show addict it's been such a blessing to have something to watch with Somi and/or Sejeong virtually every week so far this year. If Sohye can breakthrough and start appearing on AAA variety shows (basically, the popular ones that get subbed) I'll go run down the street naked or something.

Gosh, I don't know about that. Only five more weeks/episodes to get things right, especially after changing the song? Seems like a tough ask given the non-professionals in the group and presumably they'll also need to shoot an MV. I mean, I know they work around the clock in Korea but I'd like to see them stretch it out some more.

It's actually staggering to think the girl group chapter of the first season only lasted about 11 episodes. The first season was just over 30 and that's maybe what they're aiming for this season (they've probably got a comeback date in mind). I think the way they're progressing they'll need 30 episodes, lol (which would make it June or July for the release date of their album).
