This is adapted off a questionnaire from some other individual threads. 1) How/When did Taehyung become your BTS bias? Ever since I heard Tae sing, he’s been in my top 3, but he became my bias after I watched Bon Voyage. Two moments stand out. The first is when he got lost. Most saw it as a cute Tae moment but I saw it more like a devil-may-care moment. BTS had just finished a round of promotions for HYYH. Tae stayed behind to work on Hwarang, then immediately traveled to Norway only to be met with that awful hidden camera prank, and then was made to take a separate plane that was unfortunately delayed. When he finally reached his destination, it's no wonder he could care less about the challenge the producers had set up. He knew the bus # he needed to take but he jumped on a random bus regardless. Then this cheeky little shit has the audacity to tell the cameraman to “trust me†and gets off the bus in the middle of nowhere. Forget frolicking with sheep and communing with daffodils, the thing that had me screaming is when the producers called him to ask where he was, his ass was chilling on the side of the road, waiting. He knew! When they called him again to make sure he was where he said he was, he’d gotten bored and crossed a bridge to check out some river. He truly gave no fucks and had a entourage of staff on their toes. Plus, he got a photobook’s worth of aesthetic model shots and a respite from the chaos that is BTS. This is what happens when you mess with Tae. The second moment is embarrassingly sappy and gets me emotional. This answer is getting way too long as it is so I’ll leave it. 2) What are your top Taehyung ships? If you don't ship, who do you like seeing him with the most? I like seeing him with whomever appreciates him the most… and Yoongi *snort* He also looks really good with JK like on a purely superficial level they should just stand next to each other at all times. 3) What solo activities do you want to see him pursue in the future? Tae’s said his dream is to act. He’s shown with Hwarang that he’s capable so I fully support him. But for selfish reasons, I really really really want him to focus on his vocals. He’s so talented and has so much potential. I’ve noticed BigHit has been framing Tae’s role within BTS as more of a visual. They still don’t seem to know what to do with his voice so I’m not expecting much. Does Tae have a vocal coach? I didn't notice any mentioned in his thank to's. I know Jin hired a personal vocal coach and Jimin has mentioned sharing a vocal coach with another band. Anyways, what I want most for Tae, professionally, is for him to be a great singer. 4) Which era did he rock the most? He gets better with every era so YNWA. 5) What's your favorite song that Taehyung has participated in? atm it’s Spring Day 6) What's your least favorite song that Taehyung has participated in? The growly ones and I started to hate Fire from hearing it performed so many times. 7) What's your favorite Taehyung verse in a BTS song? omg I can’t choose… atm it’s the shared verse with JK: You know it all. You’re my best friend. The morning will come again Because no darkness, No season, Can last forever. 8) If you could wish one thing for him in the future, what would it be? I kind of answered this in #3 but also just to be happy and healthy. 9) If you could recommend one artist for him to listen to, who would it be? idk he listens to so much… I feel like he’d be into Rodrigo Amarante of Little Joy fame. 10) What do you like best about the one and only Kim Taehyung? Not to sound spiritual or whatever but I love his aura. The way Tae is is completely unique. One of my profs, who was fanboying over someone in Star Wars, said “There’s blood in the bone... magic blood.†Hehe and I immediately thought of Tae. edit: bc I should prob keep the ranting to a min.

I fell asleep and missed the vlive Woke up and have been streaming Spring Day ever since. At first I was too nervous and couldn't enjoy it but now it's sooo goood. It makes me feel all warm and peaceful ...then I see Tae's face next to train tracks and I- Ugh. Thanks for reminding me of this -__- I remember listening to the original and thinking likewise. The vocal line is 3/4 tenor so I was doubtful but for some delulu reason I thought that maybe they would give him a pseudo solo stage since his voice is so perfect for the song. At least he has a substantial part in Spring Day (thanks bighit) and he always sounds akdfjkldj despite not singing in his comfort zone. btw the deadpan part isn't in the behind the scenes. It's towards the end of the Run eps11 when they're wrapping up the shoot. I'm not talking about all the bombs. I'm talking about the recent ones, the ones in the past 6 months or so. Since BTS is blowing up now, these are the bombs that are getting the most attention, that are at the forefront of our minds and that are getting noticed by new fans and casual fans. Like any company that now has this much at stake there is no way BigHit isn't trying to control BTS's image. It's good that you don't see an issue, but judging by the hurtful "jokes" and character dismissal I see online, it's unfortunately an issue for Tae. Speaking of lyrics with a great message... interpretation's subjective but LGBT+ KINGS!!!! 👠👠👠passing by the end of a cold winter, until the spring day comes again until flowers bloom please stay at that place for a bit longer please stay there X

It's obvious that BigHit has favourites. But it wasn't obvious to me that Tae was being treated in the way that he was. I watch stuff in bits and didn't look at all his bombs until now so I didn't realize they were all playing up the dumb blonde stereotype. Your English is so good! When I joined the fandom, the first place I went was the music. I'm attracted to voices. All my biases have been the lead vocalist of their group so Tae's a departure for me. Plus, I'm usually into the grumpy, cold type a la Yoongi so idk how Tae happened. I guess you're right, he's special. But yeah now that BTS is huge, BigHit must have social media interns lurking here... YO! BIGHIT! YOU AIN'T SLICK! I SEE YOU! GIVE TAE SOME RESPECT AND LINES! REAL LINES! BARITONE LINES!!! Tae is the most endearing. Have you seen this? A poet. I live for Tae's serious + savage side. His sense of humour can be actually very dry. Like in the classroom themed vlive I could tell he wasn't really feeling the whole thing. At the end he said something like, "I hope we have more of these kinds of skits in the future" in like the most deadpan way and if you weren't paying attention you would think he meant it. Except Hope was like "very funny Tae." I've noticed he's really good at ridiculing but making it seem like he's being ernest

I'm catching up on bangtan bombs and tbh I'm becoming increasingly pissed at BigHit. I had a sense that they'd been sketchy towards Tae but now it's pretty clear.

I watched Sing Street! I loved it! really well written and great acting :] fyi Tae recommended it on CH+. I find it hilarious that he said everyone was recommending La La Land but he's too busy to watch it. Cut to him marathoning British romcoms.

This isn't even a delulu assumption. Different times definitely means the solo songs will be changed somehow. Honestly, when I listened to Wings for the first time I thought most of the solo tracks were incomplete. I thought the whole Wing vs Wings thing was them telling us without teamwork, they're incomplete. But then again it's way ballsy to release an album with majority incomplete songs so idk maybe I'm the delulu one..

Tae looks hotter with his moles The concept is a bit confusing though. I think they're going for a carefree reborn youth thing like the character from Wings has overcome his struggles... so in order to represent that we have confetti and popsicles? The confetti reminds me of JK's painting and the paint colors in JHope's trailers..and I like how it rains down on them..symbolism? Or maybe the S for side story means these are the stories that weren't told but are more colorful and less depressing than that of Damien... I can't seem to find it now but it was when Tae was whip/naenaeing to Silento. D*O was staring at Tae the entire time and cracking up. He's kinda like Suga when it comes to award shows. He's super chill and doesn't react much. It's surprising he reacted to Tae like that especially since he doesn't even regard his members with any kind of interest lol.

He was so good last episode! Speaking of D*O, he was so fond of Tae in those award show fancams. I want them to work together, become friends and share singing + acting tips. My attention span is nonexistent so I wasn't able to get through the entire Epilogue DVD BigHit creates so much content. It must be exhausting. From what I saw Tae was featured pretty evenly. Of course those with more lines will have more screentime. That's just how it goes. But Tae had his moments. I didn't see the interviews MilkyTae was referring to so I can't really comment on that.. the interviews throughout the concert were great though. I liked Tae's answer to the last question. It's such a smart, proactive answer. Mostly, I loved his voice (sans growling)! AAH HIS VOICE!!!! Can you imagine if he sang in his own register and had like lines, plural. As for the question of BigHit neglecting Tae, well, he's not the official visual but he is a visual. In kpop, and life really, visuals get the most attention and have the most fans. Plus Tae has a naturally magnetic personality. BigHit is aware of this and I think they want attention to be distributed more or less evenly amongst the members. For Tae, they don't have to do anything to have him stand out. Like even when he's just chillin at awards shows, the cameraperson will find him. And that Celebrity Bromance writer who called Tae a hidden gem and Hwarang's director both sought him out on their own. So yeah, I think BigHit does neglect Tae in some ways and it's not entirely fair but it's for the sake of the group, which is understandable. What bothers me sometimes is the kind of content BigHit choses to show, especially with the individual bombs. Sometimes I think BigHit is purposefully pigeonholing him into the persona of a cute clown to be laughed at and not taken seriously idk I'm prob overthinking it but his bombs rarely focus on his talent, work ethic, inner thoughts/struggles, etc. like with other members. I mentioned this before irl and was told it's bc he's inarticulate. Please. I'm not going there again but it's not like idols/singers/songwriters exist bc Becky in the fourth row got an A+ in grammar. edit: topped on a down note so here's cute taegi passing the many mics

Winter StrawVerry, an actual 😇 Click here to view the Tweet Nah, Taehyung's def in Gryffindor. I don't think Tae's in Slytherin. According to JKR, Slytherins fear public humiliation above all else. To Slytherins a loss of dignity is worse than death. Slytherin's are more introverted. They don't care much for people and have no patience for incompetence in others. Tae could care less about public humiliation. He'll do almost anything for a laugh. And he's pretty nonjudgmental. Tae's not in Hufflepuff either. Yes, he's family oriented and values peace but Hufflepuffs are practical and are drawn to things that are safe and known rather than risky and unknown. Hufflepuffs always follow the crowd. Tae's not about that. He definitely does his own thing. Tae pretty much fulfills all the Gryffindor traits. He's adventurous, passionate, daring, action oriented, extroverted, likes being around people, makes friends easily, mischievous, hates boredom, very physical, and often seeks validation from others. Gryffs care very much for others but are individuals first. The only Gryffindor trait that possibly doesn't match is their views on fairplay but then again Gryffs are also pranksters so I suppose it still fits since Tae never seriously transgresses but does cheat for the fun of it. Plus, Gryffs are known for being open and having huge hearts, which suits Tae to the T.

Actually the first part didn't bother me. I thought he was doing it for comedic affect since he's sitting all the way at the end and rap line were talking nonstop. It was amusing when Jin, Jimin and Tae all had to request to be heard like rap line were so talkative. The part that irritated me was when Tae said something and he was immediately told to shut up for no good reason. Then, someone was like ah he's cute. I've noticed that a lot. BTS will silence Tae and say that he's being cute. It's dismissive and patronizing. We've all seen Bon Voyage. All 7 of them are a mess like they're clueless grown ass children. None of them can pull off being that patronizing You're right, Tae's super ballsy for the second youngest. He's probably a Gryffindor. People have sorted him as Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff but he's too impatient for Hufflepuff and def not a conventional Ravenclaw...maybe Slytherin. Nope, I'm going with Gryffindor.

just finished watching vlive+gayo+hwarang instead of doing my reading -__- initial impressions: - YNWA... why Tae was all "JIN!!!" what does he meeeeeannn???? - Tae looked cute yet hot even in that eyesore of a head ornament truly his visual power knows no bounds - 1+1=WINDOW WHAT A CONCEPT - when will bangtan let taetae live - when Tae got all flustered and tongue tied when he had to say a message to Armys. Pls what he said was the sweetest. Bless <3 - Vmin doing the punishment together = friendship goals - Taegi said the songs on YNWA are really good... interesting. - the dry erase boards they were using were from Sydney, AUS... did they film the MVs in Sydney? - kdramas aren't really my thing so I sorta half watched.. tbh all the scenes with the queen are unbearable. I think for the first episodes Tae was flying back and forth for BTS schedules so his character was fairly one dimensional and barely present but now he's getting a bit more to work with. I remember the director said he cast Tae bc the character was so much like him but tbh that's difficult to act, especially if you're told to act like yourself but the character isn't really you so you're stuck wondering wtf you're supposed to be playing. Sorry, I have first hand knowledge of this and am experiencing embarrassing flashbacks. Tae's doing well. It's only the beginning. I'm excited to see how Hansung develops. - I adore Go Ara. Her character has so much potential to be kickass but I think they're making her into some lovedrunk spazz, which is a shame.

idk about two persona but he def seems more chill irl compared to award shows. By "irl" I'm going by Bon Voyage/behind the scenes stuff. There's no denying Tae has a quirky sense of humor. He prob gets it from his dad like in that one eps when they're on the phone and they're mispronouncing Norway. They're so cute. Anyways, award shows are different. It's all v exciting and I'm sure he had way too much coke and got way too hyped up. His energy levels are insane. He must have a really good metabolism. *snort* I get so much second hand embarrassment but then I check my pretension. You see the camera pan to all these idols and they're all so bashful and proper and then it gets to Tae and he's doing the nae nae. What would award shows be without him? I wouldn't watch them tbh.
