I'm sharing the same sentiment with you. I noticed that long time ago and always have a feeling that Sg dislikes Tae.

R*m teases him sometimes as well but i can see his fondness toward Tae, like treating a cute little brother unlike Sg's way.

There's a reason why Tae seems to be close with Rm than the awkwardness with Sg that i believe most of us can see.

 

Tae is not a pushover, he's very ballsy. It's just that he's slow with words, and sometimes it's hard for him to understand rules as we can see in 02 Vlive already. But if ppl keep ignoring/making fun of you, gradually you will lose interest and just space out instead of trying to have your voice heard which i think is the case with Tae.

 

But i don't take it too seriously and accept if that's the truth, because let be real, personalities can clash. In a group of 7 members, we can't have all members being closed and fond of each other's personality, same with my real life group of friends. I just hope this kind of thing happens less because it's off putting, and Tae has such a soft heart actually. You can see his face light up every time he gets some sincere compliments, even just on small things.  

 

Yeah, I try not to take it seriously but I guess I just got really tired of it all, especially since I'm a Taegi stan and that comment was like the last straw. It's good to hear you get where I'm coming from since it seems like most think I'm overreacting.

 

I think you're assuming a lot of things based on a few clips online. It's not like we know what happens in their real life. And guys are kind of harsh when they joke around with each other. It may seem a bit weird to us as viewers but they know each other the best. They know how much they can fool around with each other and where to draw the line. Plus I feel like sometimes tae stans (me included) treat him like a child. He's 21 years old I think if he's really offended he'll let people know. Or if he doesn't feel the need to he won't. Anyways let's not stress about this too much

 

Actually, I'm not assuming based on a few clips. I'm drawing conclusions off my observations from the massive amount of content that BTS has shared with us over the past year. Obviously only they know what goes on in their lives behind cameras but what's captured on camera matters. It's the image they project and how they want to be seen. And idc for this boys will be boys excuse. The harsh comments are disproportionate and unfair. Saying that he gets ignored/bullied more than the others is not treating him like a child. I never said he couldn't handle it. I just said I've noticed it has changed his behaviour. Whatever. Y'all either notice what I do or don't. 

Yeah this discussion has been done a couple months back also. I know that the boys teases eachother and do mean things to eachother but I've noticed that Tae especially gets this treatment more compared to the other members. He gets ignored when he wants to speak up and I do not think the members purposely do it. I think it's more like they do that unconsciously. Sometimes he is dismissed by the other members and the thought that he might be hurt by it doesn't cross their minds.

 

I remember when JK had pick a member who's a pushover and he picked Tae. I think Tae let's others do that a lot to him, therefore, the other members sometimes treats him like that without thinking.

Most of the time it's unconscious but sometimes it's definitely not. Picking teams is clearly a conscious decision. And just because it's unconscious doesn't make it right. It just means that treating Tae poorly has been so common that they don't even notice it. And I've noticed that it's taken a toll on Tae. His confidence has definitely decreased. He's never been a pro speaker but early on he didn't have problems expressing himself. At least he didn't used to be afraid to speak and now I see him being nervous, apologizing and tripping over his words. And I'm not a fan of the word teasing in this situation because teasing implies something playful and outright insults is not teasing. Yoongi pretty much said Taehyung was unwanted by both teams.

Yes, Tae avoids confrontation but you make it sound like it's his fault he's bullied. It's not. He has tried to defend himself (see Michelle's gifset w/Hope) and the members obviously know that they've hurt him. His personality is just not cruel. He hardly ever says anything negative about anybody. He loves his members so much and think of them as family. Obviously I'm a Tae stan and I'm not a pushover so if I see something I don't agree with I'm going to point it out. And if it happens again in a month I'm going to point it out again. I'm not letting Yoongi off easy. And I wouldn't for Tae either. But when's the last time Tae made Yoongi feel unwanted?

i swear bts chooses tae last for these games not because he loses since he wins more often than not but because they want him to lose. suga used to be my bias wrecker and i used to turn a blind eye to his jibes but i'm over it. he's a shit friend when it comes to taehyung and it doesn't matter how potentially great he is behind closed doors. if a "friend" is so quick to publicly demean you on the regular in front of cameras and the world than that person is not your friend. i know i know i'm being awfully serious but tae gets treated this way way too often. it's kind of frustrating that he's got the disposition of a saint. i wish he would speak up for himself sometimes. but i wonder what the consequences would be. sigh.

I was really happy when i saw this thread,the best thread ever.I think after rapmon he is the smartest,he thinks in a very unique way and really creative too.he is not just a pretty face,he is talented in many areas

Honestly, I'm happy Tae stans back him up but it bothers me that threads like this have to constantly be made to remind ppl. that Tae's not a dumb blonde. We've been over this so many times. Are Armys really that clueless? Anyways, I kind of agree with you. RM's booksmart. He's good at languages and very logical in the way he evaluates things. Tae learns from experience. He thinks creatively and interprets things in his own unique way. I wouldn't say one is smarter. They're just different. I think the reason why people call Tae an alien or dismiss him is because the way he thinks is rare and they don't bother trying to understand him. Sadly, more ppl. are booksmart rather than artistic. Our education systems kind of program us that way...

Guys, after treading the comment section from peachisodaworld about Taehyung being a hardworker, I really felt so sad for Taehyung. 

Esp this 

 

 V works very hard like every other member, even though his abit slow when it comes to learning compared to others, he still tries his best. I was just going through vlogs on youtube of the tour in newark and most of the youtubers included every member's solo performance apart from his, I was so hurt. I feel like many army don't really appreciate him, because his popular? His face? I don't know, but I can imagine how he must feel when he sees that cause if I was him I would be discouraged. Lately he also seems down, his got that "I don't care anymore" attitude maybe cause he know army won't see his efforts anyway no matter how good he performs, sings, try being funny, composes, or act everyone around him won't take him seriously. Don't know if I make sense but anyway fighting taehyung.

 And I seriously hate it when people always picture him as the "silly" one in the group. Like when other members did what he does, people think it's funny but when Tae does it, people think he's being extra and weird. When he goes to museum and wear glasses, people joke that he is trying to look intelligent and that namjoon influence him when we know that Taehyung already has an interest in Art LONG AGO. And in videos, when other members practice hard, many army will praie them but when it comes to Tae, it's little. And we we bring it up, People will start saying "Comparing to *insert name*, Tae is way more lucky." I hate it when they brush Taehyung's hardwork aside. And when Taehyung finally got praise, the other stans will be like " Ppl kept mentioning about Taehyung, it's a 7 members group", or " I only can see ______ not Tae". Like what's wrong with them? It's been a while since Taehyung got recognition for his effort. I love all the other members too. But seriously, when compared to Jin (I know BigHit does play him dirty), Tae got the least hype. And now there's a huge drama in twitter about Taehyung being ignored by the members. I'm not saying they do, but I really do wish they praise him more. He's part of the maknae line, he tried his best to compose songs. But he doesn't seem to get the praise he deserves. And when we taehyung stans praise him, other stans come for us and say we stan him only for his face? Like the fork? I'm really just very bitter/salty. And I'm not going to lie.   

 

omg when I was looking up the fakeness formerly known as vminissi I had to weed through so much drama on twitter and honestly it all makes me... proud lol. I think Tae stans are kind of like Tae. We like to keep the peace and try not to complain but it's refreshing to see us stand up for him. He's not a pushover and neither are we. As for the peachisodaworld article, I wouldn't focus on that one comment. I don't watch vlogs but fancam reactions have been great. I do get kind of irritated by how much attention is given to Tae's recent performances vs. his first performance but that's to be expected. People like to feed off negativity. Humanity is doomed yadayadayada. Tae doesn't get praised as much as I would like but I'm so biased it's not even funny. I do think some of his twitter stans have a valid point. Anyways, we know what's real. And I think deep down the antis know it too or they wouldn't be so bothered over a few harmless tweets.

People will prob scoff at us for calling him underrated cause he's one of the most popular members, but honestly I think even fans overlook how hardworking he is and the amount of improvement hes shown over the years. Like theres a lot of appreciation for his visuals but not enough for the efforts hes put into bts and his abilities all these years.Also noone in bts slacks off idk where this sentiment that he does is coming from? I agree. Tae's got a bad rep. I've noticed ppl sometimes jump to the lowest opinion when it comes to him. It's not just antis but armys too. Like the other day there was this cut of the Billboard interview and the Tae stan who posted it was basically making fun of how he passed a mic to the interviewer who already had a mic when in fact Tae was lightening up the awkward mood and trying to include the interviewer in the weird Q&A process by gesturing for him to answer. It's a small thing but I can't help but be annoyed because it happens so often like ppl make him out to be an idiot just for rts and likes. It's lame.

ahh, it was good.. he improved a lot, sounds more clear and looks more comfortable and confident to perform his own song on big stage.

his solo performance kind of underrated (i'm sorry for this). didnt see he get much attention/praise for his performance.. stigma is a good song and difficult to deliver live and tae did a good job and i trust him to improved even more in future. i hope army will appreciate his performance more ♥♥

Yesss. He has improved so much. I don't know if his performance is underrated. Stigma so different from the other solos. It's dark and not at all easy to get hype to. And the song itself is challenging and asks a lot more from the listener. I wish they'd release a bangtan bomb of Tae talking about the creation of Stigma. RM spoke the least about it during his vlive about the album since it was one of the only songs he didn't help write. It seems like Tae had a lot of creative control and I'd love to hear more on that @BigHit
