Jihyo: Her jawline seems sus but predebut (before weight gain) she had the same jaw. So I guess she's natural. But I think she might get a little chin filler. Joy: She might have had minimal eyelid/nosetip work. Not enough good pictures predebut to tell. Maybe jaw botox to shrink the muscle? But def not a jaw shave imo. She went from having a double chin to being quite skinny so that big change is understandable. Jennie: Def natural. It's easy to tell when she has no makeup on & you compare to her as a kid/predebut. She lost a lot of weight since leaving NZ. Tzuyu: Also def natural. Like Jennie, it's easy to tell when she has no makeup & you compare to her as a kid/predebut. Only change in her face is slight maturing. And unlike some other Twice members, I don't think she gets fillers or botox whatsoever. I do think she's had skin whitening injections though.

TBH I find BlackPink's overall stage presence to be quite inconsistent (note I said presence, not effort, so yes this includes members other than Jennie too). Every time I watch them I'm not sure if I'm going to get an overall impressive performance, or an overall 'meh'-ish performance. The only true exception is Lisa. Twice aren't all charismatic performers, but at the very least I can appreciate that their performances are always consistent. And the only time I remember a Twice member getting criticized for not putting enough effort in was when Chaeyoung wouldn't jump as high as the others in Like Ooh-Ahh.

On that topic: Oddly enough, it seems like Lisa has the best singing technique in BP (not that she's the best SINGER, but technique-wise). Her voice seems to naturally sit quite high, so she doesn't pull or strain her voice to hit the notes like Jennie, Rose and Jisoo (noah fence ). She rarely ever cracks or faults either in live performances because she doesn't "do the most" with her voice. She doesn't attempt to mimic any tone or sing in a certain 'accent' (only when rapping). Her voice just seems more effortless and relaxed, even if she isn't as good a singer as the others. She keeps her technique clean and simple and it works for her.

Jennie's solo is ...good, I guess. For a first-time solo artist it's fine, just a little, regular? It really suits her but I wish they did something a lil more out there/different. Like some others have said, it sounds like a Sunmi song. I like the "bichnaneun solo" bit. I think it's a double entendre (Shining Solo/ Bitch, I'm Solo). And although I love Jennie's vocal tone, her bad technique is really jarring at times (which usually isn't a problem, but since this is unironically a solo, it stands out more). I know she's a rapper first and foremost, but since this is a mostly singing solo, I think it's unfair to criticize Rose for her bad technique and not Jennie.

And whilst I believe cultural appropriation is a "gray" area (not explicitly wrong or right on its' own), I abhor cultural appropriation in Kpop most of all. At least Western culture is generally more accepting of other cultures. But Korea & Kpop? Ha. Kpop artists often use Black culture: the dreadlocks, cornrows, grills, "swag", the ebonics. Or use Indian/ Arabian traditional attire as costumes/deco in their videos. And then in the same vein, they will put down dark skin (or in extreme cases, literally do blackface), stereotype black people, be scared of black people or treat black foreigners worse than white foreigners. They will make fun of Indians (particularly curry jokes or imitating their hand gestures) and look down upon South East Asians as inferior. If you're going to make a costume from somebody's actual culture; AT LEAST respect the actual people you're copying it from. At the very least.

So I saw a post comparing Wendy's racist joke to Rihanna posting black stereotypical things on Twitter as a joke... The difference between Wendy making stereotypical jokes about black women and Rihanna making stereotypical comments about bw is that Rihanna IS black. The fuck? You can't compare an Asian person making jokes about black people to a black person making jokes about black people. Same applies for vice versa. Common sense please and thank you I believe in compassion towards idols since they are human, but when it comes to racism, you can gladly take the criticism. It's deserved, really. Idols are so quick to apologise to the public over the most minuscule scandals but when it comes to racism, ignorance, stereotypes etc, it's like pulling teeth to get them to apologise for it. That's both the idols AND their agencies. F O H.

She's still pretty, but before she did whatever she did to her jaw, I think her visuals were neck-to-neck with Irene. The only reason Irene had an edge was because Wendy was the main vocal, and main vocals are put in he group for their voices, not visuals (main vocals are rarely the visual of the group). Therefore Irene (who was already known for being pretty) got the visuals. In her predebut pics, she was prettier than Irene to me. I wonder why on earth she thought it was necessary to get her jaw done. It was a LITTLE square, but overall, still a balanced, desirable oval shape. Her jaw is so small now that it emphasises her nose even though her nose isn't big. I wish she could have accepted herself the way she was. Damn you, K-pop culturez

Think I might stan these girls... first time I've really liked a girl group from debut. At first I thought they weren't really cohesive as a group, but after seeing some videos of them (V-Lives & Variety), we get to see theirbpersinality and friendships so it changes my mind...

I'm actually kinda starting to doubt if they left. If they left then they al just happened to be let go (which makes sense as JYP usually cuts people in waves) but why is it that all the MAIN candidates for the group are suddenly getting Instagram?? Since Somi has Instagram, perhaps JYP is letting the other members of the group have one too.

With the whole Yejin thing... I think the only reason a lot of people liked her is because she looked and sounded like Nayeon (even down to the bunny teeth dang). I think if she debuted, it would have taken a while for people to stop comparing her to Nayeon. That being said, that WAS still one of the reasons I wanted her to debut lol. On top of being a decent singer. She only joined JYP a year or two ago, so either she had a 2 year contract and decided to leave herself (I find it odd considering she was definitely one of the 'pushed' trainees and willingly participated in MixNine... maybe she didn't like trainee life, who knows?) OR she got kicked out. And the only way to get kicked out of JYP is if you don't show improvement for a long time. I think she and Hanseol were let go for not improving maybe... Hanseol was a JYP favourite (*ahem* and Krystal lookalike *ahem*) and had been there for years. With the possible survival show/debut announced for later this year, why would they willingly leave now when they were both favoured public trainees? They would have been let go recently since the last time Yejin was seen at JYP was last November, then MixNine this January. Plus they only opened their Instagrams recently. JYP is cutthroat and I realised after Natty left that nobody is fully safe (except for Somi/Ryujin/Eunsoo because they are contracted to JYP).

It's a low blood pressure and anemia thing (Sana mentioned she had anemia in her old twitter account). I have it too. If you sit in a hot bath for long (especially without fresh cold air) since most of your blood went to the bottom of your body (aka not to your brain), when you try to get up, you get dizzy, then you collapse and blackout for a while. It's usually not anything too serious or dangerous, but if you happened to blackout underwater or something, it could be. I can imagine she has a love/hate relationship with hot baths then lol.

TBH, I like Sana (she used to be my ult bias in fact. I really idolised her personality, voice, everything and I literally thought she was the prettiest girl in the world; no joke). BUT If you've followed Sana long enough, you'll know that she's always been cute/affectionate/clumsy but she wasn't a fanservice/fisher idol originally. After Cheer Up came out and Shy Shy Shy blew up, THAT is when she started doing all this stuff. And bla bla bla (If you follow Twice even a bit you'll probably know the type of stuff I am talking about). Now, I don't have a problem with it. I don't even really care tbh. If she wants to be flirty/fanservicey, all power to her. I find it kinda ingenuine at times but for the most part it's entertaining, which is fitting because she is an entertainer. I just noticed this oxymoron in how people react to when people call her out for it. People will say that Sana knows what she is doing (pandering to male fans) and that she's keeping up an image and that that's OKAY and that people should stop shaming/whatever her for it. But when Sana got called a fox, they get mad at that? In Korea, one definition of a 'fox' is a woman who typically knows she is pretty/sexy and uses it to her advantage in a flirty way... AKA exactly what Sana is doing, and exactly what they also said it is okay for her to do. I hope this makes sense lol. Basically, I'm saying why get mad when she gets called a fox when technically... she is a "fox" and you said it's okay for her to be one? The only difference is that people put a name to that kind of behaviour, and it happens to be "fox". Call it like it is. A spade is a spade. I don't see fox itself as an insult. At least it's not like IU or Taeyeon where they were nicknamed a sly fox (automatic negative connotations), or a snake.

TBH Twice's What is Love is a good, catchy song, but it's nothing innovative or different at all from what they've been doing for two years straight now... but hey, I don't blame JYP, it's working and I would maximise the popular cute concept for as long as possible. It's kinda like Knock Knock all over again where people were expecting them to do a retro/crush concept from the teasers but the actual song was their usual style. I just hope Twice switches up their image a little bit in the near future like Red Velvet or Ikon did.

I agree with you tbh. I think 9 is a little weird considering Twice (which is the top GG atm) also has 9. IMO, over 9 usually doesn't go very well in terms of equal member opportunities and popularity (the only examples of where it kinda worked out is EXO, Suju & Seventeen). I think people gotta get used to the idea that, yes, there are ALOT of good potential members, but no matter what, they can't all debut. Even some of the "aces" probably won't debut now. I remember before Twice, Lena & Cecilia were pushed so much and were even in the GG that was supposed to debut (6mix) but didn't. Despite all that, when Sixteen came around, they weren't selected to even participate in the show despite being some of JYP's favourites! Also, there were over 100 trainees when SNSD debuted, and only 9 of them got to debut.

TBH I think Lilly M is in a good position. Even if she doesn't make it into this group, she's still young enough to be in the next group (probably with Yuna, Jia Yu, etc).
