Thank you for linking this, one and a half thousand words later I feel better. The more I edited it, the more accurate it got, but the less sincere it felt. But Maybe that's just the process of dealing with things and putting them in their boxes.

There are a lot of people on Twitter saying that ep10 is/was planned to be the last. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

Welcome to KEY LAND — Official SHINee KEY Thread
Bryant replied to DolIface's topic in Individual Artists
Ah thanks, that makes sense! Is it common? I lived in Australia for a bit and I don't recall hearing it before, but I might have just got it in context and not registered it. My awful mind was going for curly as in short and... and that just didn't add up. -

I'm sorry but my curiosity is just killing me, what is a 'curly issue'? -
Lmao, a wig! Now that he's said it, it does look a bit wonky. I thought his hair actually was brown when he was younger though, like in this photo I'd always assumed that the other one was lighter just because of the way it had been processed or scanned or something. I don't know if I think that board is a great idea or a terrible idea, but I hope that Onew knows about it gains a bit of comfort from it.

Must be a death eater, because if you already have a perfectly good face, idk why you'd want to put a smaller, creepier one on top of it!

Minho's short-lived catwalk modelling career. I can remember if it's just predebut or just after debut lol

I can't Day and Night's my ultimate jam like Move is, but it's very pretty all over. Hopefully the public will take to it this time, there's certainly no reason to skip it! ___ Reminder for anyone who hasn't signed this petition to show that OT4 is not the defacto majority opinion, to sign it! -> https://www.change.org/p/sm-entertainment-support-lee-jinki <- It's almost at 6000 signatures (no such thing as not having enough time, it takes about 10 secs if you don't leave a comment) Fyi on the daum petitions, afaik OT4 is at about 6800, OT5 is at 10500

It sounds more like the kind of thing I was expecting jjong to release, I'm really excited to see how it turns ouT <3

Hopefully they (and a few antis) are actually just hiding behind their screens shitting themselves, because I imagine that SM will probably be well within their rights to sue if/when the case is dropped? V true, thank God for the j-fans as well.

I expect the hate, but what's bothering me slightly is how the narrative has swung to 'only ifans support Onew, Korean fans all want him gone' is that literally just nb meddling with our perception, or are OT5 kfans not able to do anything about it and not leaving positive comments and/or votes anywhere?

I definitely don't think they'd lose anything by dropping that aspect of the show - especially with regular member winning it every time. I'm absolutely loving that Key is a semi-permanent member now though, and I like that you can tell he's hustled his way in there by always making an effort to play/disrupt the game. It looks like they've discovered his value ^^ I'm glad. I never said that I was happy about his acting award either, I'm geniunely impressed and I hear that's quite a prestigious one to get too, so it's nice to know that he's been noticed in the industry and I hope it leads on to bigger and better things for him.

Hey, if I've learnt anything in kpop, it's that people have wildly different opinions over the importance of public opinion and the law, I don't mind leaving it there. I like Chess, thank you. Cookies and Cream might be a bit too sugary for him, he's a cat of some willfulness and determination! I know what you mean, and I do hope Taebb looks after themselves, The only trouble is that we're not really in control of time, individually I agree that we should all move at our own pace, but the situation just isn't going to. Haha, but I also live with my parents at the moment, so I'm going to move out sooner or later and it'll be their cat, and they'll be left having to explain that their nutty daughter named him after a Korean boyband member. I was thinking of sneaking in a suggestion for Milo though, seeing as it's not far off.

Off topic, but on a waaaay lighter note - possibly inappropriately light lol Oh i definitely think he still would have got something from the merchandising, I just also think that the total dent to his earning over this whole business is a lot bigger than any fine he would have gotten. I also get what you mean, it is disturbing that anyone could walk away from a crime they committed without punishment... but isn't it equally disturbing that someone can get punished for a crime that they might not have committed? What i don't get about what you're saying is that if the weight which society gives legal judgments is what matters - then why does his loss of reputation not count as a consequence? That's what bothers me about this entire thing in the end, and why I fell so hard into defense mode form the start - That he was going to get a punishment from society as soon as his name was released, regardless of his possible guilt/innocence, thereby making the legal system irrelevant (And that that punishment could be wildly disproportionate to his alleged crime, because there is nothing to check the power of public opinion). Onew is an entertainer, he hasn't got a traditional job, for him the consequences of public opinion are equal to, if not greater than, the consequences of the law. People have been effectively punishing him for months, demanding that he receive more, more more, no excuses, no forgiveness, when they are not in any position to judge fairly or even rationally lbr.

What are you talking about? he's faced plenty of consequences, who cares if they are in the law or not? Iirc KHJ admitted to hitting his gf and got fined about $5000, I can't imagine that what Onew is accused of would get him a worse punishment than that from a court (khj obviously deserved worse). However, without even being charged, Onew has had his movements limited for 4 months, to the extent that he could attend a friend's wedding, he has lost a drama and the revenue from 4 dome concerts, plus whatever damage there is to his future earnings and career prospects, and other things besides. That's a lot more that $5000 and a piece of paper, how is it not consequences? And no one is suddenly not able to clothe and feed their family over a a harassment case, that isn't proportional, he touched someone's leg under the influence of alcohol. Of course I pity the other members, they deserve none of this, but they also all seem to be doing fine recently, they're hardly begging for work. Some things, some OT5 stans are saying should make anyone feel uncomfortable, that's true.... and there is nothing wrong with people saying that they are uncomfortable with the idea that Onew could have committed an offense and reserving judgment. But coming out as OT4 and withdrawing support unconditionally is disturbing to me in itself, because it's making a statement that you are prepared to put your assumptions and personal feelings above the truth and Onew's life and Shinee's careers, before the truth is even known. Hence - vocal OT4 stans can do one as far as I'm concerned and should be considered antis. I'm happy to disagree with you in the trusting the members bit, I mean, I'd like to point out that I have never since I became a shawol thought that any of them were more or less than human or taken everything they say at face value... but if I had no personal faith/trust in their basic personalities at all, I'd buy their albums and not even touch the fandom side of things.
