either anton from riize has very upturned mouth corners naturally or he got them done (and CLEARLY) cuz
It's natural. because of his family background, there is a fair amount of footage of when he was a child or a pre-teen like this one below.

Seems like itzy Yuna also did the the joker lips, if you think about it, bigger eyes needs proportionated longer lips so
It's not as noticeable as Wonyoung but there's this unsettling darker void spots at the ends, and now I'm getting paranoid over all the other idols
Still don't understand how they do it tho
If I'm understanding you correctly, Yuna's lips and smile has always been like that tho. Her lip's corners were always curved and to a point. Not to mention, her smile has always been big since pre-debut, even to the point where I remember people said her teeth were too big during Dalla Dalla
Pre-Debut
Yuna's Middle School Graduation (mind you, this is her "pretty smile" lol. When she is genuinely laughing/smiling, her top and bottom teeth shows.Spoiler

The recent amount of a female's chest obsession here. It must be shocking that idols who are more endowed (for East Asian standards) may want to protect themselves through binding or supporting their chest through supported padded bras while performing because of people with twisted intentions. And if "caught" with a "smaller" chest that one time must mean they were lying the whole time about their size!

IVE - love their feminine glam and rich girl vibe image. wonyoung's hair is always snatched, best hair in the industry rn. Their songs always hit. Has one of the best mv quality amongst their peers imo. And lbr, their height makes them a stand-out too.
NewJeans - A group full of fresh charms. Love how aesthetically pleasing their styling always are (clothes+makeup), their choreography is quite unconventional (for girl groups) as their choreo is quite heavily influenced on old hip hop for lots of their songs, waacking (Super Shy), and a more contemporary/expressive (Cool with U). The members also are able to digest and deliver the variety of dances well too.Le Sserafim - All the members are good dancers and performers as a group. I love how all the members are equally given the opportunity to shine as a group and individually with their own gigs/content. Something that is envious for many rookies.
NMIXX - Skilled idols who can easily sing live well even while dancing. Stamina and core strength with live singing while dancing is equivalent to experienced senior groups. I rarely see a rookie girl group who are comfortable, even eager, to show off their vocal skills.
Kep1er - While I don't know much about them, I do have the impression that they are very hardworking. They immediately competed on Queendom 2 right after debut. Imagine preparing for your debut simultaneously having to prepare yourself for ANOTHER competition show. respect.
Aespa - A group with no vocal holes. Their AE concept is very interesting, making them unique while among their peers.
STAYC - A group who holds their own ground very well whether that is with skills or with competing groups. All the members matches the group's identity and direction very well.Template:

"Jang Wonyoung.. belongs to NewJeans?” Wonyoung is the IT girl of the times right now, not to mention her group is on par with NewJeans. Sure, NMIXX may not be one of the first rookie groups that come to mind for 4th gen, but this comment also shows that the Korean general public doesn't actually know any of them. And like, the whole panel is in their 30-40s anyways
Even if they didn't know NMIXX, it's quite understandable based on the generation and age gap. Besides, the whole premise of the show is to guess lyrics of songs (some VERY famous and known) yet the cast seems to not know them? Of course they know it, but have to act like they don't for a fun episode because it's a variety show. That's no fun if they always knew all the answers in one second. It's not that deep
only post 18 minutes ago and already a clown emote? Not to mention the rest of the comments also already had clowns when I got here? Who's following the thread with notifs on?
Is that you OP?

Hi! Honestly I don't really have time to update these threads so I just really let them be, so if you want to take over them you can ^^ I appreciate the offer though and if you do have time feel free to create some op gfx
Sorry correction, I meant Kyujin, not Jiwoo's thread on my previous post. But I'll take up on your offer on taking over the OPs for Sullyoon, Bae, Kyujin, and Haewon. Thank you so much!

@pluto Hi pluto! I wanted to originally DM you but since you're profile is set to private, I couldn't. But I just wanted to ask if you're interested new OP graphics for all the NMIXX's individual threads you have (Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, & Haewon)? If you would like to, I can give you a free new OP graphics for those members. I have done previous OPs (individual and group) before and currently the OP for NMIXX's OH thread that I just recently also revamped for their recent comeback. LMK

I wanted to initially to put it in spoiler because i knew it was off-topic, but i cant seem to find it anymore or dont know how to do it. Yes, being an idol involves being a singer, but it's also synonymous being a dancer, performer, entertainer, tv personality, model, etc as well. Most often than not, a member is not all that in one which is was why my comment is about undervaluing of a member's purpose because XX member doesn't deserve their popularity due to unsatisfying vocal skills. All the members has a part whether they're the power vocals, best dancer, funniest personality, or according to some fans: simply there just to look pretty. I never said it was equal, but my point is that in the end together they complement each other. And because their skills and appeals are different from each other, they are able to promote in different areas in show business. For example, XX member is good at singing so they'll have more vocal showcasing opportunities. XX member is the best dancer, so they'll be center for dance breaks. XX member is funny, they'll do well on shows. XX member is pretty, they'll get be center for cfs/certain parts in a song. It's all a group effort where every member has an important part whether it seems big or small. I also doubt Reveluvs are underappreciating Wendy who is one of the best vocalist in 3rd + 4th Gen. In fact, I'm sure they're proud to have such a capable vocalist who can sing ballads or pop songs well. She may not be the most popular member sure, but having less fans does not equate to being underappreciated. Take Wendy and Joy's sold albums for example. As of Feb 2022, Wendy (Gaon: 183.5k/Hanteo: 147.9k) and Joy's (Gaon: 133.1k/Hanteo: 93.9k) albums sold. Unless you surround yourselves with akgae fandoms, a true fan do appreciate and support all members. They may have a bias member(s), but that doesn't mean they don't value the other members and what they add to the group. While your point is about fandoms not appreciating talent (specifically vocal skills) enough, my point is that this doesn't give the justification to trash and undervalue another member because they're "just" a pretty face or seen as less skilled.
And for real, this is kpop. The hard truth is that in most cases, the most attractive members are also the most popular. K-pop became popular because of it's attractive and eye-catching MVs/members/etc and earworm, catchy songs. It's literally one of the worst places if you're feeling a bit bitter over your fandom or other fandoms not 'stanning talent' enough. No need to direct that energy towards other members/groups. Just chill and enjoy listening to your faves' songs.
And sorry to the vocal thread people for derailing and going off topic, but I do hope you at least had some fun reading with whoever you did or not agree with
Carry on! I will go back to lurking mode now!

Kpop Rant : it was so sad that idols like Taeil & Wendy who gives the best out of all the members and are the pillar of their groups were the least popular. and members who doesnt do much to their group talent wise were the most overrated and has the most fans.
The thing about K-POP groups is that yes, while it is a very visual-based profession, it is also about a "group effort." I don't think it fair to undervalue other group members' "talent" just because a fan feels XX idol deserves more for whatever reason that may be. For example for most (really ALL) groups, there are members who may be better at singing while the others are the better dancers/rappers. Or a member just shines while performing onstage. Or XX member isn't even so great at any of these "talent" areas, but they are hilarious on TV/show. And yes, that is important and a TALENT because their personality do attract fans and show producers do invite back those who were entertaining which do mean more exposure. All those members are in a group together because they all complement each other as a whole. What a member lacks, another has it. That's why K-POP continues to be so popular. Each member offers something different. While I do recognize companies can play favorites and I do understand sometimes we as fans think "xx idol deserves more," I'm only saying that each member does have a part into contributing to a groups' success whether we feel they did or not.
Plus, this is how akgaes and an unhealthy fandom forms anyway
. Kpop fans tends to forget that the success of a group means the success of all members.
