The title track is called My House, so the concept is probably something about their home. Hence the door keypads on the teasers~ There will be a day version and a night version for the albums, so let's wait and see if there will be 2 MVs~
ah thanks~ that also ties in to their Real2PM vids recently where they show off their houses ^^

so many contributions from taec lol~
I've been really bad at keeping up with kpop news lately so can somebody update what their concept will be for this cb? thanks~

Bishamon arc <3 Viina's my wifeu i'm so excited for the anime to focus on her story

-
Actually she was analyzed here~ Please try to find it since I can't remember where right now. I apologize
1:30 was fine, she switched into her falsetto with C#5 and Eb5 and it was okay, it wasn't too pitchy but only slightly unstable but her Bb4's and everything below in her mix wasn't bad. The other video was okay too, her pitch is fine and she is supporting A4's and G#4's just fine which puts her way ahead of Jiyoon... Some Bb4's are not bad, she is not so bad when she's standing. I will look more into her in the future, her falsetto can be quite weak though..
oh ok thanks ^___^

hello~ i don't think you've analyzed her voice yet
she's the third placer in Asia's Got Talent
how did she do?

went to the library for the first time in ages last week. was looking at discworld books and only one was checked in. it wasn't one of the starter books but i guess it's alright if go slightly out of order because a lot of the discworld books don't go strictly in order. So I started "Unseen Academicals" and its take on the Romeo and Juliet story is hilarious lol. Also decided to check out Deep Secret by Dianna Wynne Jones. Have only read one of her books, "Howl's Moving Castle", and I like her writing style.

trying to get into china mieville but i'm starting the city and the city and the vocab and writing style is just...it takes time getting used to lol

Hullo thread! Happy 2015!
Since I haven't been here in a while thought I would update on my most recent reads: 'Lolita' & 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?'.
Overall both were pretty great reads. 'Lolita' was nice because it was interesting reading about a narrator doing despicable things yet writing them in a way so as to make others look like the problem instead. For some reason I didn't expect the end to be what it was.
'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' was a fun discussion of intelligence - both human and artificial. Not sure why but I never realized how heavily this book shaped Blade Runner.
Lots of long train journeys recently and have been using them to work my way through Murakami's 'Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage'. Nice so far, although there's something about Murakami's more recent books that just don't sit well with me. Maybe it's because I worked out all his protagonists are the same =/.
very interested in do androids dream of electric sheep. philip k dick is well known for eccentric yet insightful stories and i'm looking forward to start on his books :D

for literature works that slayed me this year....does non-fiction count??? lol.
reading the history leading up to the discovery of quantum entaglement is quite fascinating. i still haven't finished the book tbh but it is the most daunting just for fun reading i've had this year.
for fiction, the twelve kingdoms hands down. it's a light novel, which has it's own thread, but it's still counts as literature. it has the best worldbuilding and character development i've ever read in fantasy (although i actually haven't read a huge fantasy series) and the response it had to the issues and themes it dealt with left me thinking about it for days.

so surprised at bartolomeo at top 10 but he deserved it :D
surprised about law beating perennial second zoro but after his flashback chapters i can understand

Just finished Mort, another Pratchett book. I enjoyed it but it's my least liked book so far maybe because the main character annoyed me. His decision making skills screwed the universe over for the misplaced love of a princess but i have a grudging respect for his guts on trying to take a third option on saving causality and the fabric of space time reality AND save his princess. Gotta love Death tho. He is really fabulous. Furthermore, Mort didn't really have the philosophical ruminations and worldbuilding of The Colour of Magic nor the interesting characters, insights on the human condition and the nature of social responsibility, and overall fun of Guards! Guards!, and I'm just really biased towards Equal Rites because feminism and witches and metahumor as a launching point for discussions on destiny and choice are my favorite aspects of fiction so it was quite a disappointment because I was sooo looking forward to the novels dealing with the character of Death but i'm optimistic the rest of the series are better.

i dunno if this is the right thread to post but I'm so excited for next year's AssClass.

same here!
I just almost finished Katanagatari. It's soo good. I'm putting off the last two episodes since I already read what happened lol... I think my biggest complaints about the series was the Maniwana corps. Felt like they didn't really have a purpose in the series, esp since you can guess what would happen to the rest of them after episode 4. I also didn't like the ending... too bittersweet.
Might watch Spice & Wolf or Pet Girl of Sakarasou next. I wish there were more adventure series with well done romance and action.
spice and wolf was great. when i took breaks watching it, i forgot how awesome it can be but when i did watch it again i wouldn't be able to stop lol

if u guys like fantasy pls take a look at the twelve kingdoms series. it's a light novel series and it is fantastic and magical and ajfdkajfa;djfka is just great <3

They do but I already looked and they didn't have them either  that was the first thing I checked I've used it tons before and it hasn't let me down until now :._.:
dang....that sucks :._.: those books must be pretty rare
-
i admit to not really feeling akatsuki no yona because i just finished the first book of the twelve kingdoms and if the red-haired heroine isn't yoko then screw them tbh
laughing under the clouds is so nugu so i was surprised that it got a dub so soon lol. i admit to being a bit disappointed with the anime because it doesn't flow as well as the manga but it still manages to give me da feelz (gotta catch up tho)

You know it's a good day when you go to the library. I have decided I need to get going on my 300+ reading list, yes I do realize I have a problem. I ended up getting Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress by Dai Sijie, Quattrocento by James McKean, and Old School by Tobias Wolff. I wanted to get The Bell Jar, Carrie, and Cujo as well but the were checked out :._.:.
Galapagos by Kurt Vonnegut and The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka wasn't in the system :>_>: :>_>: :>_>: :>_>: :>_>: :>_>: Now if I want to read it I'm going to have search at all the local bookstores to see if they carry it. So much work :rlytearpls:
don't they have interlibrary loan system? it was the only way i can get some of terry pratchett's older books as well as the rest of the twelve kingdoms series
Anyone have any fantasy recommendations?
But try not to recommend stuff like LOTR or anything too mainstream.
Currently reading The King of Elfland's Daughter
i second tamora pierce. dianne wynne jones is also pretty fantastic and ofc u can't go wrong with terry pratchett and neil gaiman. i heard good things about malazan book of the fallen
-
on my 3rd terry pratchett book atm and all 3 are starter books for each of his discworld storylines. I was surprised on how much i'm enjoying the city watch storyline even tho i had the least expectation for it. i'm excited for mort, the starter book for the death and company storyline tho. I'm also continuing the twelve kingdoms light novel series but i skipped ahead and went to the next book featuring yoko's story because i couldn't let go. the first book was just too good!

long time no visit here~ i'm still in my terry pratchett groove but i might break it up with a neil gaiman or neal stephenson soon. if u guys are into sci fi, neal stephenson is the man. he's great if a bit too detailed. neil gaiman's writing style just gives me goosebumps. so lyrical and fantastical :rlytearpls:

hey everyone~ i still need around 60 more chapters to catch up with the weekly chapters but i'm also following the new chapters lol. it's super great omg. i can't believe i only gave one piece a chance this summer but it's worth reading 600 chapters in a month while catching up with hunterxhunter lol.
great dedication between oda and kishi. best part of the last naruto chapter was the straw hat jolly roger on the last page and oda proving how god-tier he is in his cover page.
btw if anybody's interested here is an article explaining all the easter eggs in that cover page
