People should stop picking on RM and Jin's dancing skills, BTS has some of the most difficult choreography these days - they're better at dancing than you'll ever hope to be. Even the worst dancers in BTS are f**king amazing.

My thoughts on why I dislike BTS and other Korean artists being labeled as Kpop by both fans and the general western media, I've made threads on why I dislike Kpop as a label before and stand by my position that labeling a whole language under a single genre is inherently problematic... lmao. Kpop is not a culture nor a genre. Kpop is an industry. under only that sole classification can BTS be considered Kpop, and even then the genre often limits the artist in reaching their full potential. For example, BTS in the US and elsewhere, will in the near future, only be defined as Kpop by their peers and industry professionals alike, due to the strict definitions that the west has set in their definition of Kpop. Kpop is not a Korean term but was created by western journalists and critics as a blanket term to define any kind of Korean music, this is seen as Tiger JK's most recent album being labeled Kpop, and Lyn, a whole ballad singer having the same label placed on her these two are the furthest from Kpop there is. By saying that BTS is Kpop, you are basically upholding western supremacy by refusing to distinguish the multiple genres that are within the South Korean music industry that does not give artists within the Korean music industry room to grow and distinguish themselves under the belts of multiple genres, which BTS is attempting to do, as Yoongi has previously said in their interview at the Grammy Museum: "Thus we don’t want to label our music as a certain genre or limit it to K-pop, but would like to make a new category for it if possible."
