  1. Never thought I'd see the day. I guess it was a 10-year curse instead of a 7-year curse 👀

Been a lurker since 2013 & a member since 2016. My funniest OH interaction was getting a Marxist in my dms. Interesting interaction, but I can't say that I want a repeat of that though 👀

I've been relatively MIA here since around 2020-ish after joining another forum during the great OH blackout and only having enough time for one. But I made sure to check in every 6 months or so. Most of the people from OH that I'm friends with I actually ended up meeting on H+, so I guess I can thank the OH blackout for that.

We're not all girl group stans on H+, so if you're looking for a new home, then don't let that put you off from joining ~

  2. Hoping for Chen Lin from 7SENSES. She's often the forgotten member of the group and is by far the least popular of the seven. She only just managed to rank in SNH48's general election for the first time despite being with the group since 2015. I feel like this could be a good opportunity for her to showcase her skills. Also for those who don't know, 7SENSES was actually created through a co-operation between BigHit Ent & Shiba, SNH48's management company.

For SNH48 Group members my picks would be: 677, You Miao, Jin Yingyue, etc. I feel like they'd be more likely to send the less popular members who still managed to rank in the general elections overseas, as they'll likely be sending their best girls to YWY & CHUANG.

    YH Girls ofc

    AKS China sister group members

Yiyang would definitely not be sent, she's blowing up rn with both a solo album that's still in the middle of releasing plus well as a number of variety appearances & an was just cast in a cdrama

I'd like to see some girls from Stardust Planet or Hello! Project too

Also, Mnet is missing out by not inviting anyone from Thailand. Huaying & Mbo have some top tier acts under their labels (current rosters include Ex-Rocket Girls Li Ziting, BonBon Girls' Nene + SiS' Pam)

  3. Rocket Girls - Meiqi, Xuanyi & Chaoyue. Meixuan are booked and busy esp in the music/variety industry side of C-Ent getting invited to a ton of festivals & getting casted in or invited to a number of varieties. Chaoyue has a ton of dramas either coming out soon or recently finished airing, she's also in a lot of varieties as well. I'd probably place Sunnee below those three bc she's getting a large number of projects lately + her fandom is no joke with their purchasing power.

BTS - All? They don't really get much solo projects, so I guess It'd count more on who earns the most royalties from their songwriting credits. (probs RM/Suga)

WayV - Lucas bc of Keep Running fame + solo opportunities.

Nu'est - probably Minhyun or Baekho

  4. Exo: My faves were the traitors :rlytearpls:

Super Junior: Lost interest, plus their prolonged military service & scandals

After School: Pledis did them dirty

iKon: stanned them pre-debut, but the sound they went with once they debuted wasn't my style

BAP: Lawsuit struggles, plus when they finally came back, I had already moved on to stanning another group instead

    Suho - Self Portrait

In Zhennan's case it was his parents and not him who were in a scandal but sadly, people obviously are gonna drag him for association. Zhiguang's "scandal" is a non issue, basically the same that k-idols who date and people consider it a "scandal". But Ren Hao and Yan Xujia...yikes. They should remove those 2 because even without those 2, the group is still pretty big anyway but I doubt they do it.

yep, I feel the same for Zhou Zhennan's case, but China had a thing with dragging the children into their parens misdeeds earlier this year, almost the exact same thing happened to NEXT's Justin Huang/Huang Minghao (he also appeared on the Korean Produce101 S2) who's mother was also accused of money issues.

Xia Zhiguang was essentially used as a scapegoat for Ren Hao's scandal as his news dropped almost immediately after the Ren Hao mess came to light, Zhiguang is my bias too, so I felt extra bad for his minor "do we even call it a scandal" scandal.

It looks like they're mainly focusing on individual activities for the near future so its doubtful the two cheaters will ever be kicked out of the group at this point

WAJIJIWA & YH are essentially the SM & YG of China, they'd never kick out a member if they can help it

I watched a bit of chuang 2019 but I didn't know R1SE was such a mess wtf. Idols' image is definitely a façade 90% of the times, yikes.

Does Zhennan have scandals too? He seemed pretty chill.

ok, so all of these were in the past three months:

Ren Hao: cheated on multiple partners, atmitted to it himself

Yan Xujia: presumed to have cheated on multiple partners, he denies this fact, netizens are sus and don't belieeve his words

Xia Zhiguang: caught dating an actress (Zhong Lili) from Beijjing film academy, pretty low key compared to the other scandals

Zhou Zhennan: parents caught embezzling money or smth like that, owed a large sum of money to multiple people (within the hunderds of thousands or millions, I'm not totally sure of the numbers) owned a building that was falling apart/had fecal matter falling from it with the occupants concerned for their health & safety and following this their son (Zhou Zhennan) was criticised for their actions even though he had committed no wrong himself

You talked about UNIQ but they aren't active in kpop since 2016 so it's obvious YH can only renew with Yibo but working only in China.

About R1SE I'm surprised about the scandals of almost all member (until maknae who has cute face has scandals). If a top bg in SK has the same scandals than R1SE it will be the end of popularity but China has another type of management.

Zhao Lei & Xia Zhiguang are my last hopes for R1SE. The fact that Ren Hao just returned to group promos last night despite cheating on multiple women is insane. His career would be down the drain if he was a Kpop idol

  9. UNIQ, (RIP my faves) & OT13 WJSN both of their contracts expire within the next few years, they might re-sign. YH definitely wants to keep Yibo, Seungyoun is doing pretty well for himself in Korea, Yixuan is doing pretty good with his activities but tbh, it seems to me that Wenhan might want to leave following contract expiration. Sungjoo's in the military so can't really comment on him. If Hallyu-ban ends soon he'd probs stay in YH bc iirc he was doing pretty well in China prior to the ban.

For OT13-WJSN:  I don't see Meixuan re-signing with Starship following their sharing arrangement with YH, they'll probs just go solo in China, this would be my ideal outcome tbh, as I solo stan Meixuan from Rocket Girls days. Not so sure ab CX though

IZ*ONE & R1SE bc you know, they're survival show groups and as such have an expiration date. I shall be glad to see Ren Hao the cheater fade into obscurity. Xia Zhiguang will probs be the only R1SE member I follow post Disbandment

  10. The debut team for Chuang2021 - R1SE is on their way out, and while I'm a Xia Zhiguang solo stan I  did enjoy their music from time to time I'm curious ab just who will replace them.

    BigHit new girl group

Yuehua 2021 cpop group - they haven't told us which group that'll be

Yuehua new Kpop bg - if that ever happens lmao. missing my bby Hyungseop
