Which male idols do you think are gay?
KoreaxxLove replied to cold soba's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
I 100% agree words can evolve over time and lose negative connotations. I just wasn't aware gay panic was used in other contexts and guess I'm out of touch? -
How has your life changed from the start of being a kpop fan till now?
KoreaxxLove replied to rowanokke's topic in The Lobby
Started when I was 16 when my father had 16 heart attacks and went in a coma. Since then, I went to uni, graduated, went to Korea, taught in China, met the beautiful love of my life, got married, and now work as the editor of a newspaper. In about 6-7 months, it will be 10 years since my journey started. -
Which male idols do you think are gay?
KoreaxxLove replied to cold soba's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
Maybe I'm showing my age, but in what context is gay panic not referring to gay panic defense? It doesn't bother me either way, but I'm just genuinely curious. It seems I'm behind the times in my terminology lol -
It would depend if I'm looking for a top or bottom honestly.

Is it sad not having any Kpop friends in real life?
KoreaxxLove replied to Silent Dawn's topic in Random
I've never been super super into Kpop, but I did enjoy having others to talk about it with when I was younger and more into it. -
We've also tested a lot. Trump doesn't have the level of control you think he does under our Federalist system. Individual states have the constitutional authority over health and wellness for their people. The federal government supplied ventilators and hospital space and took steps to restrict travel from infected countries. States are free to pass their own laws regarding the crisis.

Kanye tweets he's running for president
KoreaxxLove replied to Seunghee's eyebrows's topic in Current News & Events
This could get interesting. -
Yeah, I see people suffering, especially those who are being forced to not work, those whose work places are being burned down, cities being burnt, businesses owners losing their savings and investments, elderly people who got exposed to COVID-19 by Cuomo in New York, etc. Look, if you want to lay the blame for what's going wrong with America right now all at Trump's feet, go ahead, but it's absolutely ridiculous to do so. Your logic is flawed. You can support Trump/the job he's doing, without aligning with all of his values. Supporting Trump can mean many things--such as, standing up to Marxists/anarchists, standing for a strong economy/tax cuts (read: lowest minority unemployment in history), the renegotiation of trade deals, the resurgence of manufacturing jobs, respect for his federalist approach (respecting states' authority in handling both the COVID-19 pandemic and the riots, etc. Boil Trump down to whatever you want, but don't go around speaking ill about people you've never met and judging them as morally worse than you when you've never met them. You're definitely not obligated to treat Trump's followers with impartiality, but don't complain when you get called out for being rude, arrogant, and presumptuous.

Lol, look at you calling people you don't even know clowns. Say what you won't about me. I don't appreciate you talking about him, especially when it's just because he has thicker skin than you. I don't see bigotry coming from him. You should be ashamed for speaking ill of people you don't even know.

A vote for Biden is a vote for the radical left. Trump's no Mr. Nice Guy. He does and says dumb things sometimes, but he's the wall we need between the far left and the rest of the country. Trump's got a strong economic track record, and Lord-willing, things are looking very good economically today. He's also managed to bring China to the negotiation table, further American energy independence to undermine Russian priorities, bring troops home, increase NATO spending to further strengthen us against Russia, supplied the necessary ventilators and hospitals necessary so that hospitals across the country never got overwhelmed, secured 3-months' worth of potentially life-saving COVID-19 treatments for the American people, decreased illegal border crossings, succeeded in obtaining VA choice for veterans, given terminally-ill patients the right to choose potentially life-saving treatments even if they don't have FDA approval, presided over historic lows in unemployment for minorities, better funded HBCU's, protected freedom of speech on college campuses, and so on. Yes, he's rough around the edges. But you've got to remember it's Hillary and Biden's party that is now burning America to the ground. It's the left that wants to rewrite American history through a racial lens and dispense with values such as objectivism, meritocracy, and individualism. Patriotism, too. There are legitimate differences between the left and the right when we're all sharing common values. In fact, a balance between left and right is desirable, but we can't even begin to discuss things if we can't all agree in the founding principles of the country. We just saw in CHAZ/CHOP what happens when these principles are put into effect, and ironically--but sadly predictably--it didn't get any better for black lives. There are legitimate grievances to be made against Trump, and it's probably true that his election "lanced the boil," in American politics, but to think that this radical left-wing mob will stop when Trump's out of office is misguided. I'm not trying to say all of the left is radical, nor am I trying to deny the existence of the radical right. But the radical left has growing mainstream control, and the mob will come for anyone it disagrees with.

How curious that you (again) didn't quote me hoping that I wouldn't come back to debunk your response (again). The only demands they have aren't perfectly reasonable ones, so let's not even go with the "you're racist" card. Let's just cut that before you even start. I'm not conflating peaceful protesters with rioters. BLM literally went on the news and said they were going to burn the system to the ground (so try again), Democrat lawmakers have overlooked the violent BLM rioters, and some in the MSM have even encouraged them. These rioters and looters are falling under the same ideological umbrella as BLM for the most part, including those who are toppling statues (which you, yourself, have defended). So cut the nonsense that I'm conflating anything. No one is denying the existence of peaceful protesters, but we both know that that's not the whole story, and we both know which side the majority of these people fall on in terms of ideology. I think it's quite telling that Joe Biden's campaign has people who donated money to bail these people out of jail. But sure, keep thinking it's cute to act like these people aren't getting a pass by the left (because they are on the left). How about we talk about the tweets like "no justice, no peace" with burning cities in the background (which, strangely enough, didn't get marked by Twitter for glorification of violence)? I guess that's propaganda, too. How can you say that any organization or movement that embraces the slogan of "no justice, NO PEACE" is peaceful? You're missing the point totally. The point is that the MSM has no problem with the protests in terms of COVID, but Trump having a rally is suddenly evil. Trump doesn't have dementia, lol. And I don't think Nancy does, either. Biden--that's another story. This is simply a case of Nancy showing the left's true colors in that they don't care for the black community at all, and if she did, she would have gotten George Floyd's name right.
